Back in mid-April, The CW hit Supernatural was filming scenes for their season 7 finale.

Twice I stumbled across their sets.

First was on the evening/night of April 11th in historic Gastown. Earlier in the day scenes were shot inside an office above Boneta Restaraunt. Unfortunately, I never got to see any of that.

Later that evening, they shot up the street from there, the scene was of a woman, who at that time I didnt know to be anyone special... of course NOW, I know her to be the maid that Bobby has possessed. She was walking along with a newspaper folded under her arm with a picture of Dick Roman on it.

Another scene later, was shot with her & Bobby both looking in the window of an electronics store where the TV 's all were advertising the message on a "Breaking News" bulletin that Dick Roman had bought Sucrocorp.

Later, a scene was done in al elley way, unfortunately I have no idea what went on in there.... I saw Jim Beaver & Larissa Gomes (Louise the maid that Bobby possessed) go down into the alley & at the time I just assumed it was going to be them fighting each other, or something along those lines, since the film notice said a fight scene would happen down there... of course, now knowing that Bobby/Louise are 1 in the same, I wonder who the fight was with now.

A few days later, I found the set in South Burnaby in a business park, behind a lot of fences.

Unfortunately, I never really saw any of the filming as the set was down in a little nook covered by walls & crew. I did however catch Jensen Ackles & Misha Collins hanging out & chatting with each other for 20-30 mins. At times, there was long lulls as 1 or both were engrossed in their phones, at other times, they seemed to be having quite animated conversations that I cant be sure of the nature... but I have taken my best shot at translating in some of the photos below.

I did see Jared Padalecki there, but only breifly, and never got much of a chance to get any pics of him facing me.

Here are the photos from the scene & Jensen & Misha chatting. I hope you enjoy.

Suernatural season 7 finale is on FRIDAY May 18th on The CW @ 9PM ET/PT

Last season I shot a few pics of different Supernatural cast that either didnt make it to the blog because of time, my own personal opinion on quality, the tragic death of my old computer, or my personal temper tantrum over people untagging my photos...in any case.... here are some of those pics.

Yes, I am aware some of the group pics are grainy. They are free. So, really, complain to someone else.

A few pics of Jensen Ackles, a solo of Mark Sheppardand a few of Jensen & Jared, along with a group shout of J2, Misha & Mark Sheppard returning together one night.

The local hit show Supernatural sent their big guns down to comic-con to promote their show. Along with Misha Collins (Castiel) & Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) they pt in the big guns, the Winchester Brothers. Jensen Ackles (Dean) & Jared Padalecki (Sam) went down to San Diego for the festivities.

This was a hectic weekend if your name was Jared Padalecki. The towering star had a rollercoaster day & a bit, as he came into Vancouver friday morning for 1 day of shooting, only to turn right back around less than 24 hours later, and head right back out of town for Comic-con. I caught up to him on his way into town & he was in great spirits. He chatted freely about the show, and working with new cast member Corin Nemec (a cousin from the Campbell side of the family). Less than 24 hrs later he was leaving & in a slightly less joyous mood. Those of us that got him the day before let him go freely, but a couple who werent there the day prior went for him & he only did 1 each for them & seemed pretty worn out. Cant blame him really..and neither did they, after his hellish travel schedule.
If you are wondering about his shirt, it appears to be for a charity run by former SPN guest star & Golden Globe winning actress, Linda Blair. It says "Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation" The website is http://lindablairworldheart.org/ it is a non-profiut organization for animals in Los Angeles.

Jensen headed to Comic-Con on Saturday & was pleasant & willingly signing multiple items per person. When asked what the directing gig was like he replied it was a lot of work" & when I asked if he was going to stick to just acting for now then, he replied more or less yeah. Guess directing isnt in his immediate future. He also was very positive about working with Corin. Upon returning, Those of us that got him leaving let him go, only a couple of people stopped him & asked for photos with the star who was decked out in a fedora & sunglasses.

I was pretty disappointed that I only saw the Winchesters this weekend. I had really hoped to get Misha finally, but so far, the sarcasm challenged angel has evaded me...perhaps thats what I get for trying to track down someone that has his own wings. Like I am ever going to see him getting on a plane pfft.

Anyways, thats the story of Supernatural for Comic-con
Be sure to check out the polls section of my site for a poll on the best local TV show, which Supernatural is nominated in.

BONUS- decided to toss in the 3 Corin Nemec pics I took while he was here. I believe these are the first shots of him in town for SPN, maybe not the first posted, but the first taken.

The filming for Season 6 of The CW hit show Supernatural is now underway in Vancouver, Canada.

While the Winchester Boys have yet to be seen by any of the regulars in town yet, Their sidekick, Bobby Singer ( Jim Beaver ) has arrived for the start of filming.

The day before filming started, I met Jim at the airport upon his arrival back to our city. Little did I know at the time, Mr. Beaver had a guest in tow.

Sherriff Jody Mills ( Kim Rhodes ) came in with Jim to film an episode.

While little is known about the specific episode they are filming besides it centers on Bobbys character & Sherriff Mills will be in it, what is for certain is that SPN fans are already impatiently waiting to see how last seasons cliffhanger will play out this season.

Along with Beaver & Rhodes, the driver who picked them up also had a sign for Steven Williams who plays Rufus. I never saw him show up with them, but he clearly has some type of role in the episode that is being directed by Jensen Ackles.

If you want to know more about what Jim Beaver is thinking/doing, you can follow him on twitter http://twitter.com/jumblejim
If you want to read about Jim's personal life & his struggles with the death of his wife & raising an autistic daughter, you can buy the book Jim Beaver wrote at most major bookstores, or online at Amazon.

Sometime over a year ago I first met Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki when they were on set a mere block from my house, their trailers even closer, just maybe 200 feet from my front door.

In that first encounter I got both of them. One on the set, one as they were leaving the trailers to go home at the end of the day. I left there with a good impression of them.

At that point, I had never watched more than a few minutes of the show. Not because I didnt like it, but because I simply dont watch TV that much & it wasnt on my list of things to keep caught up on.

Cue this season. With being a little more active in television & movie hounding this year, the cast of Supernatural was more on my radar. As well, a friend had lent me season 1 and 2 on DVD & I finally started watching it...and before you knew it, I was done both seasons.

During this season I had the chance to meet Jensen probably 6-8 times, and Jared 3 or 4 times. With the exception of 1 night where Jared seemed put off by us being there (I later found out some of this had to do with an altercation between his driver & other hounds on his way out of town), the boys more affectionately known as the Winchester Boys to the shows fans, were exceptionally pleasant. To add to the enjoyment of meeting the shows cast was the pleasant experiences with Jim Beaver & Misha Collins.

Next week, I am (assuming she remembers to bring them) going to finally get to start s3 & 4. I am pretty excited about it...especially after the great encounter I have had with them so far.

I often let my interactions with celebs decide what I will & wont watch. For instance,  despite great interactions with 2 or 3 of the Smallville cast, the fact that 3 of its bigger stars are pricks sours the experience enough for me to not give the show a chance. The cast of Supernatural MADE me a fan.

The Winchester boys laid back approach to being celebs has made them a pleasure to hound. From Jensen joking with us about how intimidating Rampage Jackson seemed to him after they shared a flight together, to Jared (jokingly) saying "Fuck Smallville" when explaining how he is done filming before Smallville is & gets to go on vacation 1st. These guys are just regular laid back people. Its great to see there are still stars that are like this.

Below is a variety of pics from them since that 1st encounter with them
