Seems like forever ago. It has been so long since my last Twilight cast themed blog I actually had to look it up. June 26th, 2011. Seems longer than that. To be honest, when they were here last time there was such a lack of interest... I really was certain the fad was dead & buried. Seems however, the fad isnt completely buried yet. The 150 new twitter followers I gained in 24 hrs upon relaying the info that they were back here in Vancouver to do Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn II re-shoots can attest to that.
The cast of the most successful movie franchise in Vancouver's history returned for another short re-shoot this week.
It appears there are 4 main cast members rolling around the Lower Mainland for this re-shoot.
Robert Pattinson is back to be Edward Cullen for 4 more days. His arrival was marked by about 10 or so people waiting for him. He speedwalked thru the calm & casual crowd of professional paps, autograph hounds & a couple casual fans to his waiting SUV while his over enthusiastic bodyguard Dean cleared a path for him. The Rob that most of us came to know back during New Moon who was casual, laid back & generally willing to stop and interact if you were that close to him is long gone of course, and now a zipping jaunt past the crowd is all you can expect when he is on Summits watch. If you manage to find him out and about, results usually are better, but as long as Summit is pulling his chain, he puts on this miserable fan-unfriendly demeanour.
About an hour later, his girlfriend rolled thru with Michael Sheen. Kristen Stewart returns to be Bella, and nothing has changed with her. The generally miserable and anti-social anti-hero did her typical scurry thru the dozen or so people waiting. Like Rob, her attitude actually has become worse since the days of New Moon. Her demeanour went from "terrible" to "not bad" during New Moon, but then she left for a few months to do a Joan Jet movie, and returned as the most miserable person on the planet, and shes never goShe too got into an SUV and was soon off to her lovenest to meet up with the man who she hooked up with in the very hotel their romance seemingly started in.
Michael Sheen (who I did see breifly, but did not have a chance to get any pics) arrived with KStew to resurrect his role of Aro. He DID stop & signed for those who opted to go over & wait for him in the terminal while Kristen snuck out a side door.
Later in the night (actually early Monday) Ashley Greene would return to be Alice Cullen 1 last time. Ms. Greene was turning into a bit of a anti-social grump when she was here for the original Breaking Dawn shoot. Like Robert, she started off her time in Vancouver, pleasant and approachable, but soured during her long breaks in L.A. However, seems a few months away from the limelight has eased her ego some, as she was pleasant, willing to sign autographs again & all smiles on her return.
Obviously, not being a fan of the movies, I am eagerly anticipating the day this franchise is done here. We have NEVER had a movie (let alone a group of them) here that has been so miserable, anti-fan, anti-interactive and all around hostile.
Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn II re-shoots are scheduled from pril 30th to May 3rd. So any sightings of the stars are likely to be few, if any. Below is a few pics from Rob, Kristen & Ashley on their return.
As with all my sets, if you re-post my photos, do so with proper credits & DO NOT remove the tags, or they will be removed from your site & the site may penalize you however their rules state for such infractions, which may include legal or civil penalties.

Here are some pics of various Wolfpack members for the Twilight Saga, as they were in town for Breaking Dawn 1 & 2 this past spring.
Due to a computer problem a few months ago, a lot of my older blogs got passed over for awhile....so now I am catching up, and tada...for you Twilight Wolfpac fans...heres some of the pics I had for their past shoot here.
Kiowa Gordon, Julia Jones, Alex Meraz, Bronson Pelletier & Booboo Stewart are featured in this lot.
Earlier this past spring, the cast of the Twilight Saga series returned to their unofficial home, Vancouver, BC to finish off the epic series. The filming of Breaking Dawn I & II was completed up here & of course, that meant a plethora of old familiar faces...and some new ones. A computer crash I had back in April prevented me from posting some of this stuff more recently....so better late than never, right? Below is a mixture of some of the cast I came across while they were in town. Joe Anderson "Alistair", Tracey Higgins "Senna", Casey LaBow "Kate", Judi Shakoni "Zafrina" & Guri Weinberg "Stefan" rolled into Vancouver to join the likes of Jackson Rathbone "Jasper" & the rest of the regulars like Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli & Ashley Greene. Dont forget you can get autographs of many Twilight Saga stars in my gallery to the left marked "Twilight autographs" or click on this link http://canadagraphs.weebly.com/twilight-autographs.htmlSo below is a few pics of the newcomers to the franchise...along with veteran Mr. Rathbone.
Last night was the Gala event for the 13th annual Leo Awards. The best of British Columbia's TV & movie industry gathered to hand out their top awards. This years event was held at the Hotel Vancouver, after a scheduling change prevented them from holding it at their usual place, the Westing Bayshore. With the change in venue came a few challenges. The most notable challenge was the red carpet set up on Georgia street. In the past, at the Bayshore, the carpet was set up along a very quiet and spacious sidewalk along side the hotels convention centre. This set up was great for everyone involved, as it was spacious & well lit with natural light when it is sunny. This year however, the red carpet was set up on the sidewalk of a mains treet that dozens of people use every minute. The carpet itself took up about 2/3 of the sidewalk, leaving a slim 3-5 ft ledge for fans & onlookers, uncredited media, autograph hounds & passer bys to navigate, with a lane of a busy thoroughfare just behind them. Thankfully for the awards there was no incidents with traffic hitting any people, despite many people, myself included, occasionally using the 1st lave of the street to walk in. The cast of "Sanctuary" was the front & centre draw of the television side of the awards for the mostpart. With the loss of "Stargate Universe" this year, the gang from Sanctuary made up a lot larger portion of this years TV representation. SGU did have 1 representitive there, Jennifer Spence, a nominee for Best supprting actress in a drama, but failed to win, losing out to Lucia Walters from "Life Unexpected" in their 1 & only nomination as well. Ryan Robbins did bring home a solo award for the Sanctuary cast in the Best Supporting male category. Many of the more notable Vancouver based shows won some awards as well. Fox sci-fi hit "Fringe" lead all TV shows in wins with 3 (tied with Sanctuary) for Cinematogray, Production design & best guest actor for Michael Eklund. "Supernatural" won for best visual effect. "Smallville" won for best program in its final season. "Human Target" won for best stunt co-ordinator. Smaller shows like "Blackstone", wich won 2 awards walked away with the more notable awards for TV acting. Carmen Moore won the best actress award. The best actor went to Callum Keith Rennie from "Shattered" In the movie side of the awards, "Gunless" walked away with 4 awards including best prgraom, cinematography, production design & stunt co-ordinator. "Altitude", "Transparency" & "Fathers & Sons" won 2 awards each, the latter taking home best supporting actor Jay Brazeau. Several movies snagged 1 award each, including "Life, Above All", "Amazon Falls" which April Telek took best lead actress, "Tucker And Dale VS Evil" which Tyler Labine took best lead actor & "Repeaters" which Alexia Fast took best supporting actress for. Other notable winners were Paul McGillion for best lead actor in a short drama movie "A Fine Young Man" (which lead the way with 4 wins in that section..including best program), Shirley Broderikc for best actress in a short drama "The Closer You Get To Canada". "Mighty Jerome" won 4 awards, including best documentary program. "The Haunting Hour" won 4 awards as well in best youth or childrens program, including best show & best performance for Richard Harmon. "Hiccups" had 5 wins, including best comedy program & best performance for Nancy Robertson, that was the most of anyone at the awards. Below are some pics of the presenterrs, nominees & winners as they arrived for the awards. Pictured "Blood & Chrome" & "Hellcats" star Ben Cotton. "The Listener" star Lauren Lee Smith, "Robson Arms" star Gabrielle Rose, "Intelligence", "Smallville" & "Alice I Think" star Michael Eklund, "Tucker & Dale VS Evil" & "Reaper" star Tyler Labine, "The Killing" & "Tucker & Dale VS Evil" star Brandon Jay McLaren with "Whistler" & "Tucker & Dale VS Evil" star Jesse Moss, "Wolf Canyon", "Harpers Island" & "Health Nutz" star Ali Liebert, "90210" star Dustin Milligan, "Smallville" star MacKenzie Gray, "Robson Arms", "Supernatural" & "Amazon Falls" star April Telek, "Stargate Universe" & "The 4400" star Jennifer Spence with "Kingdom Hospital" star Ben Ratner, "Twilight Saga Eclipse" "Kingdom Hospital" & "Dead Like Me" star Jodelle Ferland, "Charlie St Cloud" & "Whistler" star Amanda Crew, "Sanctuary" "Stargate SGI & Atlantis" star Amanda Tapping, "Sanctuary" "Dawsons Creek" & "Dead Like Me" star Robin Dunne, "Sanctuary" & "Dan For Mayor" star Agam Darshi.
As Summit Entertainment winds down the filming on the 5th & final installment in the Twilight series, " Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn II" most of the films mainstay stars like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, have wrapped up their roles & started planning their lives beyond the franchise that has made many of them arguably household names & certainly, larger stars than they ever envisioned before taking on the roles, some of the films long standing members are still in Vancouver however, filming the last scenes of the epic quintology film box office juggernaut (minus eventual re-shoots). This past Tuesday, 3 of them returned. Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) & Kellan Lutz (Emmet Cullen) returned along with Mr. Lutz on again off again girlfriend Annalynne McCord (from 90210).
While Lutz signed a small handful of autographs for the waiting crowd & McCord signed for anyone that asked, Greene was quite unwilling to stop. Rathbone, who was walking with Greene was friendly as usual, but with most being unprepared for his arriving, no one really asked him. Below is a few pics of the cast on their return.
So last weekend there was a wrap party for season 1 of the new CW cheerleader drama Hellcats at V Restaraunt in Yaletown. With only a few days left in their shooting schedule, this was the weekend they chose to have it on, as surely next weekend some or all of the cast may have dispersed. Usually wrap parties see a handful of cast show up, but theres always some missing. The Hellcats cast was surprisingly full, with really only 2 notable secondary cast, Gail O'Grady (Wanda Perkins) & Gale Harold (Prof. Julian Parish). Everyone else I could think of made it. The first cast members I saw show up were Sharon Leal (Vanessa) & Craig Anderson (Morgan Pepper). Shortly after Ben Cotton (Travis Guthrie) arrived & was willing to chat for a few minutes about the show, his character & his new pilot "Battlestar Galactica Blood & Chrome". Then came the primary cast. First up was Aly Michalka (Marty Perkins) followed shortly after by Ashley Tisdale (Savannah Monroe), Robbie Jones (Lewis Flynn), as well as Heather Hemmens & Matt Barr (Alice Verdura & Dan Patch) who came together. They all showed up within a couple minutes of each other, so there wasnt a lot of chance to interact with all of them. Jeremy Wong (Dawrin) & Alana Randall (Frankie) apparently arrived at some point as well, but I didnt notice them going in. A couple hours would pass before anything would else would happen. It wasnt till a random Bronson Pelletier (Twilight Saga films) sighting walking by the restaraunt that things seemed to pick up a little. Shortly after seeing him out & about, Hellcats producer, and star of Smallville Tom Welling arrived with an entourage of 3 or 4 people which included co-star Justin Hartley. Some time would go by again before we saw another random sighting. Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger came to hang out with a few friends at the restaraunt downstairs from the party, Earls Restaraunt, which added to a very random night. First to leave was Ashley Tisdale, who was in a little more happy state coming out than she was going in. She signed for me, but refused to sign for my friend claiming her feet were hurting because of her shoes. I guess they didnt hurt 3 seconds before that??? More cast would slowly make their way out. Ben Cotton & Sharon Leal were next to depart (I cant remember in which order now). Then came the majority of the cast a little later, including Matt Barr & Heather Hemmens coming out together as they went in together. In between that group and the final group, Chad Kroeger came back out & joked with us as 2 of us were taking his photo asking how thats possible when theres only 1 magazine in town & then saying he hasnt seen so many cameras here since his court case for DUI a few years ago. Then, him & his friends got into a limo (wise choice for a man with a DUI on his record, good to see him planning ahead) and rode off home. It would be another 45 mins or so before the final batch would come down. Aly Michalka came out with her sister who we never saw arrive, her mom, Tom Welling, Justin Hartley & another female friend.
Justin came out first to secure a taxi, and the cab driver was giving him attitude telling him he would only wait "a couple minutes to get out there". Justin went back & told the rest there was a cab there (called the cab driver a "dick" to his group..and rightfully so) only to have it taken from them after the girls insisted the taxi driver take a man who was bleeding perfusely from the head to the hospital, after what can only be assumed was from some type of altercation just up the street. The cab driver was refusing to take the man, but the girls quite insisted & with 8-10 people telling him to, he begrudgingly took the man in more serious need of a ride than the rich celebs who then opted to walk home.
Up the street they passed a couple men who had clearly had more than too much to drink who were threatening to throw down right in the middle of the fairly abandoned street. Tom seemed unfased by it & more fascinated to see if they were going to infact fight or not. Justin seemed to be encourageing the girls to just keep moving, as was I. Aly looked quite upset to be seeing it. At that point, I let them go on their way...or so I thought. Little did I know they would get to the next block & stop there for a few minutes, and I would again cross paths with them 1 more time before our nights finally quit crossing paths.
Unfortunately, my cameras batteries were on deaths door, so I was being extra picky about taking shots & was really only shooting when I was sure I had a chance for a shot...to top it off, the flash refused to work 3 or 4 times, thus why I have no good Ashley pics, and the Tom pics are quite fuzzy & blurry.. since I had to resort to shooting him without my flash. Pics below of Ben Cotton, Matt Barr, ly Michalka, Heather Hemmens and the Loch Ness Monster, or is it Tom Welling?
Last week a majority of the cast for the 4th & 5th installments in the Twilight film series "Breaking Dawn 1 & 2" came in.
one of the higher profile names spotted arriving from the series was Kellan Lutz. The man who plays vampire Emmett Cullen in the films was a shock to everyone waiting there, as most were expecting Jackson Rathbone to come thru but were instead surprised with Mr. Lutz first showing up.
Lutz signed autographs for those waiting, took photos with others. Of course, the most shocking thing he did is what many of you saw on Lainey Gossip this past week (which includes some of my video), where Kellan hugged 2 paps, the wife of 1 pap & the other being the 1 he accused of hitting him with a car last summer. Lutz went on to act as if nothing ever happened, and even went as far as to say he knew absolutely nothing about the incident. Even though Montreal Police had a complaint filed by Mr. Lutz back while filming in Montreal for The Immortals.
Shortly after, he hopped in his vehicle & was on his way into town to get settled in & start prepping for his role in the final chapters to the Twilight series.
ADDITIONAL NOTE- lately a trend has started with people attempting to remove the tags & post the photos to their blogs, websites, flickr or tumblr sites. DO feel free to post the photos WITH TAGS. DO NOT feel free to remove the tags & post them on any public sites. They will be removed if I find out, and depending how the site hosting your profile deals with it, you could lose your entire profile, or more. IF YOU WANT THE PHOTOS UNTAGGED... I do sell them, and far less than agencies charge.
So as most Twifans know by now, the 4th installment of the massive Twlight Saga series is finishing off in Vancouver in the next few weeks.
Most even know that yesterday the movies main stars Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) & Kristen Steeart (Bella Swan) arrived.
However, only the most observant were aware that on Saturday the first cast showed up for filming... including a little piece of Edward & Bellas love.
The festivities started with the first person to come in, former "Alias" star Mia Maestro (Carmen Denali). The 32 year old Argentinian actress who has also been in the international hit "The Motorcycle Diaries" had tweeted the day prior that she was heading to Vancouver Saturday & looked packed for a long visit. She was was very pleasant & and answered questions & seemed very fine with the level of attention she was getting as she made the 100 yard walk to her vehichle to depart.
Not long after her arrival, the most notable name of day 1 arrived. Little 10 year old Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee) came thru with her mom to far more attention than she has ever likely endured before. Everyone there was absolutely blown away with how composed & professional the young star was. She answered questions, smiled for photos & even signed an autograph. I was quite blown away with how well this kid has it together already.
Finally, was Swedish actress, 26 year old MyAnna Buring (Tanya Denali) who I have seen in 2 films before "Grindhouse" & "Lesbian Vampire Killers". The majority of the star watchers & paps completely missed her leaving, and I might have too if someone hadnt made me aware. Because she seemingly flew in under the radar of most, we had little to no time to get a couple pics of her. She also said she was happy to be here & thanked us when we told her to enjoy her time here.
So that was it for the 1st day of the cast arriving. Day 2 obviously proved far bigger for name power... we'll see what day 3, the final day has in store.
Earlier this summer I had the chance to catch up to Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale to Twilight fans) with his band The 100 Monkeys.
He told me breifly of a movie his bandmates helped produce called "Girlfriend".
This week, Girlfriend will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival & Jackson is going to be there to promote it.
He breifly here explains that it will be doing the film fest circuit.
Twilight Saga Series may have made Robert Pattinson a household name, but the names of Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone and Jamie Campbell-Bower have had their own levels of success.
Campbell-Bower has joined RPatts in some pretty elite company. Only people to be in both a Twilight series film & a Harry Potter film. Not too shabby of a resume to go with his roles in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, or RockNRolla.
Lutz has started getting pretty regular work himself. Recently in the remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street, he has added on roles in films opposite Mickey Rourke & Samuel L. Jackson.
Facinelli is not just a doctor on the big screen. He has Nurse Jackie on the small screen, where he plays Dr. Fitch Cooper on his resume now. Add in a variety of film roles, and the elder statesman of the Cullen clan is making the most of his Twilight boost.
Rathbone, when not out touring with his band The 100 Monkeys, he is filling that time with multiple film roles, including The Last Airbender.
Lautner, the heir apparent to Pattinson for Twilight fans to swoon over has been a busy boy himself. He has landed roles recently in films with the likes of Sigourney Weaver, Jessica Alba & Bradley Cooper.
All seems to be going well for the Twicast. When they were here, most were great most of the time. Here is a few tidbits from their time here.
