THE WALKING DEAD
From out of nowhere, AMC's The Walking Dead won critical acclaim this year. The zombie apocalypse themed horror, based on graphic novels did the same in our polls, quietly moving up the ranks & eventually taking a stranglehold on victory.
Despite a back & forth fight with The CW's new cheerleader drama "Hellcats", The Walking Dead eventually won this fairly handily with a big surge in the final 2 days of voting to take it by a commanding 131 votes 405 to 284.
CBS crime drama "Hawaii Five-O", despite a slow start, finished 3rd with 234 votes.
The CW drama "Nikita" finished 4th with 189 votes. While ABC's superhero family "No Ordinary Family" finished 5th with 169 votes.
