Last season I saw them around a couple times, but not really knowing the show yet, didnt spend much time on keeping up with their production...then I saw the show, liked it & was waiting for it to come back.
This particular night, the shows gorgeous cop from the future stuck in present time Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) was kicking asses (or faces) and taking names at a parking structure inside the CBC Building in downtown Vancouver.
One of my favorite "so, you wanna be a star eh?" moments was seeing the poor extra who had to send several minutes in barely above freezing temperatures on the ground underneath the aggressive downpour of the raintowers the show used to make Vancouver look extra wet. Its people like this who are getting a moderate day rate that you have to appreciate. This poor actor had to lay on cold, damp cement during multiple takes while it literally poured on them on a day where the temperature hovered barely above freezing.
In these scenes, all we saw was Keira kicking in the face of a person on the ground that I was unable to indentify from watching.
Here are some photos of Rachel Nichols in her spandex futuristic cop suit shooting a scene, and preparing in between takes with directors & trainers.
