THIS BLOG POST IS FOR EPISODE 608 OF "ONCE UPON A TIME". If you have not seen this episode & do not want to read or view possible spoilers to it, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time shot a scene for episode 608 in Richmond not far from their usual "downtown Storybrooke" location in Steveston. In this scene, there was Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen and Lanas stand in as Regina Mills. The scene started with the Evil Queen & Henry talking before Henry walks away. Shortly after Emma and Regina confront the EQ, and Regina holds out a mirror while EQ also holds out a mirror. During 1 of the breaks while they were changing the angles, Lana took her dog Lola for a walk around the beach before stopping on a log and just hanging out with her for a few minutes before she had to get back to work. After this scene wrapped, this did another scene with Colin O'Donoghue & the stand in dressed as Regina. It was SUPPOSED to have Lana there as well dressed as Regina, but the time it took her to get changed out of EQ gear & into Regina gear was going to apparently take too long & they were already behind schedule, so they just had her double do the scene. A bit later I went to Steveston for a bit. I caught a couple takes of David Paul Grove as Doc shooting a scene where he gets into a car & checks himself in a mirror. Shortly after that I called it a day with lots of filming still to happen as I had a long day up to that point already. Once Upon A Time airs Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. THIS POST IS FOR EPISODE 605 OF "ONCE UPON A TIME". If you have not seen this episode and do not want to see or read any possible spoilers to the episode. Do not continue viewing or reading this post. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time filmed scenes for episode 605 in Steveston in August. Besides the night scene I posted earlier, there was 2 day scenes I saw as well. The first had e regular/semi-regular cast on set. As Robert Carlyle as Mr. Gold, Rebecca Mader as Zelena and Beverley Elliott as Granny were all on set. There was also a baby on set as you can see from the pics below. As well, there was a woman in a red top who COULD have been a guest star, or just an extra that was going to get more face time than most usually do because she was getting more attention from the crew than the average background extra gets. The scene was pretty long, but didn't reveal much except that we see Zelena go into Grannys Diners courtyard and sit down, and later on Mr. Gold leaves Grannys. Besides that, there was little to know about the scene. A bit later they filmed out on the street with Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan and Raphael Sbarge as Dr. Archie Hopper. After the shoot, Raphael came over & met with fans. This scene was much more visible and it seemed like Dr. Hopper was trying to talk Emma into or out of something before she turns on the engine and drives off. Once Upon A Time airs on Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. This episode SHOULD be airing TONIGHT. Once Upon A Time shoots a scene for episode 605 with Colin O'Donoghue and Jennifer Morrison10/22/2016 THIS POST IS FOR EPISODE 605 OF "ONCE UPON A TIME". If you have not seen this episode and want to avoid possible spoilers do not continue reading or viewing the photos below. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time filmed a scene back in August in Steveston on the docks with the shows most commonly discussed on screen couple (whether you like it or not) "Captain Swan". Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Hook and Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan shot scenes on the dock where the couple share a kiss before Emma walks away. I do not have anymore context to add to the scene than what you see below. So I cant say why she is walking away. There was also scenes shot earlier in the day, you can find that report HERE. Once Upon A Time airs Sunday nights on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. This is for the episode that airs tomorrow. You can find more Once Upon A Time BTS posts in our OUAT Blog. If you have not seen this episode and do not want to read or view possible spoiler photos from it prior to seeing it, please do not continue reading or viewing the photos below. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time shot several scenes in Steveston on their first Steveston location day of Season 6. Episode 601, directed by frequent OUAT director Eagle Egilsson titled "The Saviour". The day started with a scene in an area of the small little village that they had, to the best of my knowledge, never filmed at prior. Lana Parrilla and Ginnifer Goodwin shot a scene in the park at the far end of the village. Despite its quite well hidden from the general footpath traffic of the main "Storybrooke" set of Moncton Street, a crowd of about 75 people showed up to watch this early scene. The scene had the pair talking in front of Reginas vault before they turn around and leave together. Question is.... what is it that they were talking about? I can tell you, it has something to do with Regina telling Snow something about Zelena. What that isexactly, I cant say. After that shoot, the crew made the move to the shows "regular" locations in Steveston along Moncton Street. There will be more blog posts containing photos of those scenes coming up later on. Once Upon A Time season 6 will begin September 25 , 2016 on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. Once Upon A Time shot several scenes in Steveston on their final location day of Season 5. After a vote on twitter to decide which post I should do next, the overwhelming majority chose for me to do the post of the Captain Swan scene. Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan and Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Hook did a scene (along with several others... but the scene seemed centred on them only.. there will be another blog post later with photos of the other cast on set, these are JUST ones of Emma & Hook TOGETHER.) where they meet in Storybrooke after driving back from New York City (if you had read my previous blogs...you'd know why). For wahtever reason, the pair engage in a deep hug. The type of hug you give when you havent seen someone in 2 months.... not 5-7 hours which is all it SHOULD take to drive from NYC to Maine. But, in the grand scheme of shaky TV writing, this is hardly the worst offence ever done I suppose. Just really unnecessary from a story dynamic angle though IMO... but I do admit, i'm not a viewer of the show anymore. So, really my opinion on it isnt that important I suppose. The couple then walk towards Grannys Diner with most of the group that returned ahead of them, but before going in, the pair stop right at the gate, have a bit more of a chat before they embrace in a big hug & kiss that sees Hook lift Emma off the ground. Once Upon A Time airs its 2 hour season finale Tomorrow night on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. Once Upon A Time shot a scene for their season 5 finale in downtown Steveston at the end of March. The small village is of course the most commonly used location spot for the show as "downtown Storybrooke". On this day, a few scenes were shot. The morning/early afternoon scene had Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills on set with a newcomer, Being Human star Sam Witwer. Its believed Witwers character is 1 of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. (the other being Hank Harris). The scene seemed to show Witwers character talking to Regina and Henry after Regina seemingly tries to stop him with magic perhaps. Also, it seemed to me on some takes Henry may have tried to use magic.... but I cant be so sure thats what I THOUGHT or what I actually saw from the angle I was at. Once Upon A Time season finale airs on Sunday May 15, 2016 on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. You can find the rest of my season finale blogs, along with all my blogs on previous episodes HERE. THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 522 OF "ONCE UPON A TIME". Do not continue reading or viewing the photos or article if you do not want to see/know anything about the episode prior to viewing it and have not yet seen the episode. . . . last warning . . Back in mid-March Once Upon A Time filmed several scenes in downtown Steveston for episode 522, the first part of the 2 hour season finale. In the day scenes, they shot a scene with several cast & guest stars. In the night scene, it was all about 2 cast. Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) and Colin O'Donoghue (Captain Hook) shot a scene that saw the pair, known by their fans as CaptainSwan, do a scene where they walk down the street of Storybrooke hand in hand before arriving at Grannys diner. Due to the angles and set up of the crew, there was very little to see of this scene. You basically had two options. Option 1- stand out on the street at 1 end with a tonne of crew, equipment and purposely placed scrims to minimize how much you could see. Option 2 - stand at the other end, but only get a quick 1-3 second glimpse of the pair returning from the scene and the very beginning of the takes. I chose option 2, which meant my view of the actual scene was limited to the very start, less than 1/2 a second of an angle to get photos of them shooting the scene before they disappear behind the wall I had to stand behind. There will be a couple more OUAT blogs this season coming up, as I have LOTS to post for the final episode 523, in which I shot over 2500 photos of. So I will try to get a couple of those up this week. |
