Ty Olsson played the role of Benny, a demon who Dean Winchester befriends in Purgatory. Olsson was nominated last year for Recurring actor for the same role, finishing 4th. With 576 votes Olsson won ccomfortably over runner up Christian Kane "King & Maxwell" at 414 votes. In 3rd was Grant Gustin "Arrow" with 412 votes In 4th was last years Recurring actress winner Rachel Miner "Supernatural", 5th John Noble "Sleepy Hollow", 6th Dylan Everett "Supernatural", 7th Ellen Muth "Hannibal", 8th Seth Gabel "Arrow", 9th Joshua Gomez "Castle", 10th Christopher Heyerdahl "Castle". The 1st 4 days of voting had Grant Gustin in the lead, on day 5 Gustin, Kane & Olsson all shared the lead throughout the day. Day 6 Olsson led & never relinquished the lead again. The Best Of TV Awards 2013 winner in the category of Best Recurring Actress is Felicia Day "Supernatural". For a 3rd year in a row, a "Supernatural" lady nabbed the award which used to be the "Supporting" award, but was rebranded this year to a more appropriate depiction of the award. Felicia Day reprised her tech savvy, fantasy game loving lesbian character Charlie Bradbury 3 times in 2013 which made her eligible for the Recurring award,, a finalist fr the Guest Star award last year, Day this time won her award with 699 votes. Well back in 2nd, Anna Torv "Fringe" with only 3 episode of the sci-fi hit in the year 2013 was eligible for this award instead of the top sci-fi actress honour. She nabbed 348 votes. In 3rd Alaiana Huffman "Supernatural" with 319 votes. Gillian Anderson "Hannibal" was 4th, Bex Taylor-Klaus "Arrow" was 5th. Amanda Tapping "Supernatural" was 6th. Jamie Chung "Once Upon A Time" 7th. Well back in 2nd was the current record holder for acting awards finals appearances John Noble (1 with Sleepy Hollow) in his 4th & final attempt to win an award for "Fringe" with 301 votes. Dr. Lauren Lewis & Bo of "Lost Girl" or as their fanbase call them Doccubus (Doctor & Succbus), finished 2nd last year by a mere 58 votes, but didnt have the same heartbreak this year, as their 1350 votes took the title back. Runner up was "Once Upon A Time" couple Mr.Gold & Belle (Rumbelle) were well back with 1084 votes. In 3rd was the 1st ever all male couple to make the finals, Kurt Hummel & Blaine Anderson (Klaine) from "Glee" nabbed 867 votes to finish 3rd. For the 3rd year in a row "Supernatural" wins the Best Episode award, for the 2nd year in a row, it was a season finale episode. Sacrifice (also the name of the runner up episode, also a season finale, which aired the same night on the same channel.) which was the season 8 finale for Supernatural saw the Winchesters favorite angel Castiel mistakenly got all the angels cast out of heaven & down to earth. The episode bulldozed its competition in the last couple days & went on to win with 426 votes. Runner up, the "Arrow" season finale, also titled Sacrifice, nabbed 376 votes. With 691 votes, this 1st ever Yough Actress award goes to the youngest winner of a Best Of TV Award to date, at only 16 years old. Runner up was the girl who brings Alexis Castle to life on "Castle" Molly C. Quinn with 555 votes. In 3rd was the older Stark Daughter Sasna actress "Game Of Thrones" Sophie Turner with 499 votes. Rounding out the top 5 was Taissa Farmiga "American Horror Story" & Bex Taylor Klaus "Arrow". Gage Golightly "Teen Wolf" was 6th, Brighton Sharbino "The Walking Dead" was 7th & Bex Taylor-Klaus "The Killing" was well back in 8th. Day 1 saw 5 different leaders, Maisie Williams, Molly C. Quinn & Bex Taylor-Klaus "Arrow" all had the lead multple times. Brighton Sharbino held the lead shortly early on & so did Sophie Turner. Taylor-Klaus, Quinn & William also all held the lead on day 2. Day 3 & 4 Quinn & Williams passed each other once each. In the end Williams took the lead by day 5, and despite a close race till the last 24 hours qith Quinn in chase, managed to hold on in the end. Maisie Williams 691 is the category record. Maisie Williams also sets the record for youngest award winner in BOTVA history at 16 years 9 months & 6 days.
