Here are the results for the 5th set of categories to be voted on for the semi-finalists of the Canadagraphs BEST OF TV AWARDS 2012.

This set of categories dealt with Best Actresses in Comedy, Sci-fi or Fantasy & Action or Drama.

The Comedy actress category didnt have a single nominee with over 10% of the vote, perhaps showing how evenly matched this category is. The Big Bang Theory resident hottie Kaley Cuoco had the most votes, beating out New Girl lead Zooey Deschanel. Kat Dennings of 2 Broke Girls, Alyson Hannigan from How I Met Your Mother & Jane Lynch from Glee round out the top 5 & making a rare feat in these polls where there is not a show with 2 or more nominees in the top 5.

The Best actress for sci-fi/fantasy category was completely dominated by voters for the show "Lost Girl" as they pushed their trio of nominees thru 1st thru 3rd. Fringe star Anna Torv was a strong, but still distant 4th, while Once Upon A Time star Jennifer Morrison rounded out the top 5.

Jennifer carpenter from Dexter rounds out the top 6 with a 4th place placing.

Here are the results for the 4th set of categories to be voted on for the semi-finalists of the Canadagraphs BEST OF TV AWARDS 2012.

This set of categories dealt with Best Guest Star, Supporting Actors & Actresses.

The Best Guest Star category was all about Fringe & Supernatural guest stars with the top 6, and 7 of the top 8 going to these two shows. DJ Qualls from "Supernatural" narrowly beat out Leonard Nimoy from "Fringe" in the semi-finalist voting. Mark Pellegrino of "Supernatural" and Rebecca Mader nabbed the runner up spots for their respective shows.

Again, a very SPN & Fringe dominated category, which I am sure the fans voting think is great in theory...but what will happen come the finals & they can only vote for 1? Will the vote get split? Osric Chau, Mark Sheppard, Jim Beaver & Write in contender Ty Olsson made it a clean sweep of the top 4 spots for Supernatural, the next 2 spots went to Fringe Observer Michael Cerveris & bad guy of season 4 Jared Harris.

Best Supporting actress category didnt have the SPN & Fringe domination thanks to former CIA spy turned serial killer's girlfriendon Dexter Yvonne Strahovski. Fringe introduced Georgina Haig to us in season 4, then took her away in season 5, which nabbed her enough attention to get 2 ahead of Supernatural duo Liane Balaban & Rachel Miner.

Here are the results for the 3rd set of categories to be voted on for the semi-finalists of the Canadagraphs BEST OF TV AWARDS 2012.

This set of categories dealt with Best Director, Episode and Talk Show.

The Director category had an astonishing THREE write in nominees make it to the semi-finals. Jensen Ackles & Guy Norman Bee for Supernatural episodes "Heartache" & "Blood Brother" made it along with Psych star James Roday who directed "Heeeeere's Lassie". Joining these write-in nominees are 2 Fringe directors Jon Cassar & Joe Chappelle, Ernest R. Dickerson for an episode of The Walking Dead & another Psych director David Crabtree.

Here are the results for the 1st set of categories to be voted on for the semi-finalists of the Canadagraphs BEST OF TV AWARDS 2012.

The second set of categories dealt with favorite shows & characters, as well as Best Couple.

In the "Best Couple" category, the runaway leaders in the semi-final voting was last years winners, Bo & Dr. Lauren Lewis from "Lost Girl". Several very popular couples such as Peter Bishop & Olivia Dunham from "Fringe", Rhichard Castle & Kate Beckett from "Castle, Snow White & Prince Charming on "Once Upon A Time", Damon Salvatore & Elena Gilbert from "The Vampire Diaries" all we're well back from the all female couple, as they managed over 40% of the votes.

The Favorite Character voitng, as with last year, had some of the highest totals of the round. Just like last year, Lost Girl fans filled the ballot boxes, as the show nabbed the top 3 spots. Last year they had the top 2 spots in the 1st round as well.... only to see them fail to turn this voting frenzy into results in the final, as they split their votes amongst their 3 faves, leaving their best chance down in 3rd. Consistent Favorite character contenders Dean Winchester "Supernatural & Olivia Dunham "Fringe" rounded out the top 5. Unexpected newcomer to the polls Carlton Lassiter "Psych" grabbed 6th. Unlike last year, no prominent write-in vote campaigns were around this year, "Lost Girl" lead male character Dyson finishing with the most well back of a semi-final spot.

Voting for Favorite Show, a new category this year, had results similar to most of the polls that run here. Certain fanbases just dont seem to vote here. Generally popular shows like Glee, Breaking Bad, The Vampire Diaries, Sons Of Anarchy or Grey's Anatomy seem to fail to garner support in these polls most of the time, and again, this seems to have happened here. While shows such as Leverage, Community & Lost Girl which arent ratings giants manage to do well. The top spot goes to perennial favorite here Supernatural, while Fringe stayed close to nab 2nd. Castle, Burn Notice & The Walking Dead round out the top 5. Write in leader Lost Girl grabbed 6th, The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Psych & Person Of Interest round out the top 10.
