Well back in 2nd was the current record holder for acting awards finals appearances John Noble (1 with Sleepy Hollow) in his 4th & final attempt to win an award for "Fringe" with 301 votes. In 3rd Nikolaj Coster-Waldau "Game Of Thrones" was able to take the spot with 258 votes. Joshua Jackson "Fringe" was 4th. Adam Copeland "Haven" & Raphael Sbarge "Once Upon A Time" were tied for 5th. Osric Chau sets a new category record for largest margain of victory 430 votes, previous record 139 held by Mark Sheppard "Supernatural" 2011. ![]() The Best Of TV Awards 2013 winner in the category of Best Couple is Dr. Lauren Lewis & Bo "Lost Girl". After a setback last year that say the 2011 Champions lose to the couple from Castle Richard & Kate, the 1st ever same sex couple nominated for our awards reclaimed their title. Dr. Lauren Lewis & Bo of "Lost Girl" or as their fanbase call them Doccubus (Doctor & Succbus), finished 2nd last year by a mere 58 votes, but didnt have the same heartbreak this year, as their 1350 votes took the title back. Runner up was "Once Upon A Time" couple Mr.Gold & Belle (Rumbelle) were well back with 1084 votes. In 3rd was the 1st ever all male couple to make the finals, Kurt Hummel & Blaine Anderson (Klaine) from "Glee" nabbed 867 votes to finish 3rd. Rounding out the top 5, 2012 Champion Richard Castle & Kate Beckett (Caskett) from "Castle" were well back in 4th, Prince Charming & Snow White (Snowing) "Once Upon A Time" finished 5th. Doccubus 1350 votes sets a new category record, breaking Doccubus 2011 total of 1170. This is also the 1st category record to have a winner that won in a previous year but not consecutively. For the 3rd year in a row "Supernatural" wins the Best Episode award, for the 2nd year in a row, it was a season finale episode. Sacrifice (also the name of the runner up episode, also a season finale, which aired the same night on the same channel.) which was the season 8 finale for Supernatural saw the Winchesters favorite angel Castiel mistakenly got all the angels cast out of heaven & down to earth. The episode bulldozed its competition in the last couple days & went on to win with 426 votes. Runner up, the "Arrow" season finale, also titled Sacrifice, nabbed 376 votes. In 3rd the "Continuum" season 2 finale Sacrifi... no, just kidding, it was titled Second Time, it nabbed 338 votes to narrowly take 3rd. As the tougher than she looks Arya Stark on "Game Of Thrones" Maisie Williams has gained worlwide fame in the role of the youngest Stark daughter. With 691 votes, this 1st ever Yough Actress award goes to the youngest winner of a Best Of TV Award to date, at only 16 years old. Runner up was the girl who brings Alexis Castle to life on "Castle" Molly C. Quinn with 555 votes. In 3rd was the older Stark Daughter Sasna actress "Game Of Thrones" Sophie Turner with 499 votes. Rounding out the top 5 was Taissa Farmiga "American Horror Story" & Bex Taylor Klaus "Arrow". Gage Golightly "Teen Wolf" was 6th, Brighton Sharbino "The Walking Dead" was 7th & Bex Taylor-Klaus "The Killing" was well back in 8th. Day 1 saw 5 different leaders, Maisie Williams, Molly C. Quinn & Bex Taylor-Klaus "Arrow" all had the lead multple times. Brighton Sharbino held the lead shortly early on & so did Sophie Turner. Taylor-Klaus, Quinn & William also all held the lead on day 2. Day 3 & 4 Quinn & Williams passed each other once each. In the end Williams took the lead by day 5, and despite a close race till the last 24 hours qith Quinn in chase, managed to hold on in the end. Maisie Williams 691 is the category record. Maisie Williams also sets the record for youngest award winner in BOTVA history at 16 years 9 months & 6 days. The director of probably the most talked about episode of Glee in recent years, Brad Falchuk won the honour of Best Director with his work on "The Quarterback", an episode that was surely a challenge for not just the cast, but the crew too as they paid tribute to 1 of their shows biggest stars after the death of Cory Monteith. Falchuk won with 496 votes. Runner up was Philip Sgriccia for the (Supernatural) season finale "Sacrifice" with 450 votes. In 3rd was David Barrett for his work on (Arrow) finale "Sacrifice" with 429 votes. Rounding out the top 5 were Guy Norman Bee "Devil May Care" (Supernatural) who was a runner up last year on a different Supernatural episode came in 4th. John Fawcett "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" (Orphan Black) was 5th. The defending champion once again obliterated the competition as the host of The Ellen Show, Ellen Degeneres was the only daytime talk show host in the finals for the 2nd consecutive year. With a total of 1590 votes Ellen had more than the other 5 finalsts combined. Runner up Jimmy Fallon, after not even making the finals last year managed to snag 2nd with 411 votes. In 3rd was Stephen Colbert from "The Colbert Report" with 359 votes. Rounding out the finalists Jon Stewart, last years runner up was 4th. Conan O'Brien was 5th. Jimmy Kimmel was 6th This award was never in question, as Degeneres had the lead from the 1st few minutes of the vote & never looked back. Ellen Degeneres 1590 votes crushed last years record of 452. Degeneres win differential of 1179 was the largest of this year.
