![]() The Best Of TV Awards 2013 winner in the category of Sexiest Actress is Jennifer Lawrence. The Academy Award winning Hunger Games hottie won this year with 1,114 votes, after finishing 6th last year. Runner up for a 3rd time in a row, to 3 different winners, Zoie Palmer from "Lost Girl" with 1075 votes. Palmer held the lead for most of the vote, but lost the lead with about 48 hrs to go, breifly got it back, only to lose it with about 16 hours left & never got it back. In 3rd Anna Silk also of "Lost Girl" was well back with 702 votes. This was her 2nd consecutive 3rd place finish. Rounding out the top 5 were Jennifer Morrison of "Once Upon A Time" & Emily Bett Rickards "Arrow". In 6th was last years champion Stana Katic from "Castle". 7th was Olivia Wilde, 8th Nina Dobrev of "The Vampire Diaries", 9th Kat Dennings from "2 Broke Girls", 10th Kaley Cuoco "The Big Bang Theory & in last was Anna Torv of "Fringe" in her 3rd finals. There was a staggering 17 lead changes on day 1. Lawrence & Palmer had 5 each, Emily Bett Rickards had 3 leads, Anna Silk, Anna Torv, Stana Katic & Kat Dennings also had the leads breifly the 1st day. Eventually the top 2 would seperate from the rest of the pacl, Palmer & Lawrence would switch the leads another 9 times over the final 6 days of voting. Jennifer Lawrence set a new record for votes in this category with 1114, Zoie Palmer also broke the previous record held by Erica Durance of 909 in 2011. ![]() The Best Of TV Awards 2013 winner in the category of Sexiest Actor is Jensen Ackles. The Supernatural stud won for the 3rd time in a row with 1,057 votes, almost 200 clear of his closest competitor "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch, who made his run too late. Cumberbatch was 6th with 2 days left in voting before finally catching some fire, only to end up short in the end as Ackles made it a hat trick of Sexiest Actor honours. In 3rd was Colin O'Donoghue. The man who brings Captain Hook to life on "Once Upon A Time" was consistently in the top 3, but never managed to keep the momentum going as he dropped what was a close race between him & Ackles early on in the final days. Rounding out the top 5 "Supernatural" angel extraordinairre Misha Collins, just ahead of Hannibal Lecter himself, Mads Mikkelsen. A tie for 6th between Jared Padalecki & Stephen Amell. In 8th Johnny Depp. 9th Chris Hemsworth. 10th Chris Evans. 11th Tom Mison. Well back in last place was 3X finalist, Gale Harold. Several lead changes happened in the 1st day. Johnny Depp, Chris Evans, Stephen Amell, Colin O'Donoghue & Jensen Ackles all held leads on the 1st day. Ackles would take the lead on day 2 & did not lose it again after. Benedict Cumberbatch 862 vote is a new record for a runner-up, previously held by Tom Welling at 851 from 2011. A 3rd consecutive win for the "Supernatural" Impala really never seemed in doubt, as the Winchesters "baby" took the lead early & never let go, finishing with 1145 votes. "Once Upon A Time" nabbed 2nd & 3rd & may have suffered from some vote splitting. Rumplestiltskins Dagger was 2nd with 818 votes, while The Jolly Roger was 3rd with 492 votes. Rounding out the finalists was The Blueberry "Psych" a finalist last year, in 4th & Men Of Letters Bunker "Supernatural" in 5th. The Impala set a category record with 1145 votes, breaking its own previous record in 2011 of 864. A record low 3 programs had finalists in the category - this ties the record, previously set in 2012 in 4 categories Best sci-fi or fantasy actor, Best Sci-Fi or Fantasy Actress, Best Guest Star & Best Recurring Actor. "Continuum" a sci-fi drama about a cop from the future stuck in 2013 Vancouver, Canada chasing a group of escape prisoners from 2077 was the leader in semi-final voting with 458 votes. Defending champ "Supernatural" the world saving brother hunters came in 2nd with 425 votes. In 3rd is last years 3rd place finalist "Lost Girl" with 395. Best Action Or Drama Program semi-final voting was led by a 2nd year show, Arrow with 445 votes. The 2X defending champ Castle was 2nd with 257, Hawaii Five-O came in 3rd with 190. Rounding out the top 5 were Person of Interest & Criminal Minds. The rest of the finalists are - Elementary, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist, Breaking Bad & Rooke Blue. Best Program Category leader was a finalist for best New Program last year. The Canadian sci-fi cop from the future show "Continuum" beat out former 2X champ "Supernatural" 488 to 446 votes. Not too far back in 3rd is 2X finalist contender "Lost Girl" at 431 votes. Rounding out the top 5, 1st time finalist "Doctor Who" & 2011 best New Program winner "Once Upon A Time". The rest of the finalists are - "Game Of Thrones", "Haven", 3X finalist "Fringe" & the defending champion "The Walking Dead" who limped in to the finals in the last spot. The Best Comedy Program, actor & actress categories were dominated by The Big Bang Theory last year. This year could end up the same way. Best Comedy Program category had very few shocks as the 3X Best Comedy Program winners The Big Bang Theory led voters with 147 votes. Well back in 2nd How I Met Your Mother with 104 votes. In 3rd was another CBS show 2 Broke Girls with 68 votes. Rounding out the top 6 was a 3 way tie for 4th, Modern Family, New Girl & Psych.
