THE BEST & WORST
Just remember, first thing to remember. Just because I had great or negative experiences with someone, does not make it fact that they are always that way.
However, I have a lot more experience with celebs than the vast majority of the public ever will, so I have more of a gauge to assess good & bad from all celebrities I have met than someone who has only met 1 or 2 celebs on 1 or 2 occasions.
I tend to try & rate celebs based on multiple occasions, I tend to take into consideration how they react with fans, as well as professionals. If they are poor with fans as well, that weighs far more in my assessment than if they were just rude to someone like me. Same goes for the best. If the celeb goes out of their way to make everyone, regardless who they are seem appreciated, they will get a better ranking too. Finally, more recent encounters weigh heavier than older encounters. So a great encounter from someone 5 years ago that I haven't seen since may rank lower than someone that I had a really good encounter just recently.

THE TOP 100 NICEST CELEBRITIES
1 - TOM HARDY (Inception, Warrior, The Dark Knight Rises) Tom will talk to you for as long as he can. Havent heard of him denying anyone an autograph or a photo with. The guy is just too nice. Even with the same guys asking him week in & week out, he stopped, signed and chatted with them every time he saw them. Even with security at TIFF forcibly removing items from his grasp, he still took the effort to track down the items and sign them while giving security a dissatisfied look.
2- OLIVIA MUNN (The Newsroom, X-Men Apocalypse) While many actresses who have made their mark with sex appeal act like its a horrible shame, Olivia understands the marketing game of celebritydom and welcomes the fact people admire her, for any reasons that they do. Whether its coming in off a late flight, or coming out of a party with U2, Munn has been obliging of all requests while filming her 3 back-to-back projects here and has always done it with a smile on her face. To add to her greatness, she was an absolute pleasure during TIFF 2018, despite being in the middle of a newsworthy story with her film she was there promoting, and her role in outing a registered sex offender that was originally cast in it. MOST actresses would have cowered to the public pressure of it, not Olivia. 3 - JOHNNY DEPP (Pirates Of The Caribbean series, 21 Jump Street) - On more than 1 occasion I have seen several thousand people wrestling for each inch they could get to be near enough to the Pirates star to get an autograph, Mr. Depp took care of as many as humanly possible each time before security physically dragged him away. 4 - SAM WORTHINGTON (Avatar & Clash Of The Titans) Not only did I get several autographs from Sam the first time I saw him, he then proceeded to sign THIRTEEN items for me at once a couple days later. He didnt care if I was selling or keeping them. he joked around with the fans there, he took photos with, he simply is, the nicest guy there is. 5 - JOHN TRAVOLTA (Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction) I had met John many years ago before Pulp Fiction revitalized his career & he was a class act. Seeing him again about 20 years later, I saw that he seems to have gotten even nicer. Must have spent an hour between his press conference & Red carpet signing autographs for fans & taking photos with. 6 - ROBIN WILLIAMS. (Mrs. Doubtfire/Good Morning Vietnam) Met Mr. Williams multiple times, every single time hes signed everything I had & makes sure everyone got what they came for. For such an inconic name, he doesnt need t play the good PR game, and I dont think its an act, he just sincerely enjoys making his fans happy. 7 - MATT BARR. (Hellcats, Harper's Island & Sleepy Hollow). Super friendly, always says hello. Truly excited to be recognized. Always takes the time to acknowledge fans. Truly happy to be famous. Hes the type of star a show should want, because he isnt just a pretty face, hes terrific PR with the way he treats everyone as people, and not just eyeballs for the shows bottom line. 8 – SAM ELLIOTT (Road House, The Big Lebowski) A filming legend like Mr. Elliott has nothing to prove. Yet at 74 years old, he spent more than 20 minutes outside taking photos, and signing autographs for a crowd at his premiere, long after his cast mates had already gone inside. 9 - JOSH DALLAS & GINNIFER GOODWIN (Once Upon A Time) Rarely do I see 1 without the other...thus why I put them in together. Individually, both are sure top 10s on my list. Each of them has been absolute 100% class & showed as much respect to us as I hope they feel we showed to them. 10 - JACKSON RATHBONE (Twilight) I dont think there is any limit to the amount of things this guy would sign, and best part, he will talk to you about almost anything you want to talk about. 11 - DANIELLE PANABAKER (The Flash, Piranha 3DD) On multiple occasions I have seen her at 2 AM leaving a set stop to take time to sign & take photos with people. Even when she had directing duties, she still stopped showing up to work, on her lunch break AND at wrap at 2 AM for people. 12 - RILEY KEOUGH (Mad Max:Fury Road). Despite showing up incredibly late to her own red carpet, she didnt leave a single fan behind. Stopping to sign for everyone, regardless how many they had either. 13 - JAMES CAAN (The Godfather). Unfortunately, I've only met him once so far. But what a class act. Spent more time outside signing & taking photos thane veryone else from his cast & the next films cast, combined. 14 - SEAN BEAN (Game Of Thrones) I had met him a couple times prior when he was promoting movies, and was all class. But the moment that put him into the top 20, was when I saw him walk 2 blocks out of his way, to come back & sign more photos, and take photos with after only having time to sign 1 when was first asked because he was in a rush. 15 - CHARLIE DAY (Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Horrible Bosses) Despite almost the entire cast of the movie he had at TIFF 2017 being unreceptive to meeting fans, Charlie did his part, not just signing & taking pics with, but interacting when people asked him questions. He almost singlehandedly made up for the less than friendly co-stars he had. 16 - BOOBOO STEWART (Twilight series) Besides the hordes of free autograph signings & appearances he does around the continent, Booboo is also willing to just sit down & chat with almost anyone on almost anything. His father, an actor himself, has him very level headed about his fame. Hes such a good guy too that even though he is a world jr champion martial artist, he didnt even break out his beat down moves on a guy who attacked him at an autograph signing. 17 - LEE ARENBERG (Once Upon A Time) Always has time for fans. Has gone as far as to invite anyone who was in the area to come & see him & some of his cast members at the bar over twitter. Best part, how down to earth he is, hes chatted with the regulars countless times, about almost everything. 18 - CALLUM BLUE (Dead Like Me, Smallville) Met him multiple times in multiple cities, and each time he has been willing to sign everything asked of him & was willing to chat about anything that comes up. Best part, he seems to miss Dead Like Me as much as the fans do. 19 - WILLIAM H. MACY (Shameless, Fargo) despite being busy working as director on a movie, he stopped a conversation with his crew to walk over and sign for me and my friend. Then moments later, stopped to do photos with a couple fans that recognized him. 20 - TOM CAVANAGH (The Flash) Always been accommodating during his time here. He was even the first person to sign for me at a set again after the pandemic hit, and never once treated it like a chore. 21 - JOSHUA JACKSON (Dawsons Creek, Fringe)
22 - CHRISTIAN BALE (The Dark Knight) 23 - STEPHEN AMELL (Arrow) 24 - DEV PATEL (The Newsroom, Slumdog Millionaire) 25 - PATRICK GILMORE (Stargate Universe, The Killing, Sunflower Hour) 26 - PETER FACINELLI (Twilight series/Nurse Jackie) 27 - TIMOTHY OMUNDSON (Psych, Galavant, This Is Us) 28 - ANNA TORV (Fringe) 29 - RACHEL NICHOLS (Continuum) 30 - GEORGE CLOONEY (Oceans 11,12 & 13) 31 - JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT (Ghost Whisperer & I Know What You Did Last Summer) 32 - CHYLER LEIGH (Supergirl, Grey's Anatomy) 33 - AARON PAUL (Breaking Bad, Bojack Horseman) 34 - BRAD PITT (Moneyball, Oceans 11, 12, 13) 35 - VIGGO MORTENSEN (Eastern Promises, The Lord Of The rings) 36 - MELANIE LAURENT (Inglourious Basterds) 37 - NICOLAS CAGE (Kick Ass, Con Air) 38 - KATIE MCGRATH (Supergirl) 39 - JUSTIN LONG (Live Free Or Die Hard) 40 - LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS. (Stargate Universe) 41 - JULIA BENSON (Stargate Universe)
42 - HARTLEY SAWYER (The Flash) 43 - JERRY SEINFELD (Seinfeld, Bee Movie) 44 - EZRA MILLER (The Flash, Justice League, Royal Pains) 45 - MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ (Fast & Furious franchise) 48 - MADELINE CARROLL (Machine Gun Preacher) 47 - CORY MONTEITH (Glee) 48 - ROBERT ENGLUND (A Nightmare On Elm Street) 49 - BEN COTTON (Hellcats, Sunflower Hour, The Killing) 50 - MARGARET ATWOOD (Writer of The Handmaids Tales) 51 - JESSICA CHASTAIN (Zero Dark Thirty) 52 - KATRINA LAW (Arrow) 53 - TOM CRUISE (Top Gun, Jerry Maguire ) 54 - MIRELLE ENOS (The Killing, World War Z) 55 - TOM HIDDLESTON (The Avengers/Thor) 56 - RYAN ROBBINS (Sanctuary, The Killing) 57 - JOEL EDGERTON (Warrior, Star Wars) 58 - BRANDON T. JACKSON (Tropic Thunder, Percy Jackson) 58 - CHRISTINA HENDRICKS (Mad Men) 60 - STELLAN SKARSGARD (The Avengers, Good Will Hunting) 61 - DAVID RAMSEY (Arrow)
62 - JAVICIA LESLIE (Batwoman) 63 - LIAM MCINTYRE (Spartacus) 64 - JOEL KINNAMAN (The Suicide Squad, Robocop, The Killing) 65 - PIERCE BROSNAN (James Bond) 66 - SARA CANNING (The Vampire Diaries) 67 - NIKOLAJ COSTER-WALDAU (Game Of Thrones) 68 - CHARLIE HUNNAM (Sons Of Anarchy, Pacific Rim) 69 - SAOIRSE RONAN (Hanna, Atonement) 70 - OLGA FONDA (The Vampire Diaries) 71 - COLTON HAYNES (Arrow) 72 - BILL BURR (The Mandalorian, F Is For Family, Comedian) 73 - ANNA KENDRICK (Pitch Perfect, Up In The Air) 74 - CHRISTIAN SLATER (Mr. Robot, Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves, True Romance) 75 - CHRIS HEMSWORTH (Thor Ragnarok, The Avengers) 76 - CONAN O'BRIEN (Late Night With Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show) 77 - CAMRUS JOHNSON (Batwoman) 78 - NEAL MCDONOUGH (Arrow) 79 - MING NA (Stargate Universe) 80 - LILY JAMES (Cinderlla) 81 - SETH GABEL (Fringe)

THE 100 LEAST FRIENDLY CELEBRITIES
1- HUGH LAURIE (House) The grouchy former Dr. House has now 2 years in a row not signed at his premiere. This past year, he stood less than 3 ft from the crowd for over a minute, just staring at the outstretched arms of fans with their magazines, photos & programs to get signed & didnt even give a "no" in the end. Even worse, he looked sincerely put out to even be there, even on the red carpet for the photo pit he seemed like he rather be anywhere else but there.
2 - TOMMY LEE JONES. ( Men In Black & No Country For Old Men ). This one disappoints me, since I generally like his films. Multiple denials in 1 day, using excuses like "I have to go to work" (for interviews....even though he was 30 mins before the reporters). I got him many years ago, and he was whining about signing then as well...looking back on it, I am shocked he did it. 3 - JAMIE LEE CURTIS (True Lies, Trading Places, Halloween). This actress hasnt had a hit since the mid-1990s, yet thinks shes the bees knees. At a premiere, she ignored the fans, not even so much as coming over for a single photo, and when fans booed her decision, she flipped her middle finger at them. Classless at a new level. 4 - CHRISTOPHER LLOYD ( Back To The Future ). Chris came to town to fill a guest role spot on a TV show. From the second he arrived, he was miserable, unfriendly & murmmered little more than incoherant sounds at us as he walked the equivellent of a block to his vehicle. With nothing in his hands, he ignored all requests for autographs or photos with. Clearly someone thought it was still the 80s & he was relevent. Someone needs to remind him he hasnt done crap all in 20+ years. Someone saw him the day before he was here & asked him "what will it take to get you to sign" & he responded "$50". Expecting people to pay at a convention is understandable, on the street, thats not as understandable. 5 - JEFF DANIELS (The Newsroom, Dumb & Dumber) Probably my 2nd biggest disappointment to add to this list. I saw the Emmy Award winner on 4 occasions over 2 days, and NOT ONCE did he grab a pen, or stop to take a photo with anyone. Only reason I don't put him higher is he at least on a couple occasions gave a half assed wave each time. That's BARELY more than the others above him do. 6 - SEAN PENN ( I Am Sam ). Came out to 4 people waiting for him. Walked right by with a smug look on his face & pretended we werent even there, as he stood around for a minute or two waiting for his ride. I did get him one time many years ago, and even then, he acted like I was asking for his blood. 7 - WILLIAM SHATNER (Star Trek & Boston Public). Besides being a talentless walking punchline of a failure, he is also a miserable cancer on society with his easy to hate attitude & whiny overtones. I wont lie, it gives me GREAT PLEASURE to add him to this list. I never liked him thankfully, and after meeting him my feelings were certainly cemented. For someone who has been absolutely irrelevant to the celebrity world since Star Trek went off the air, he still carries himself with the attitude of someone who is booking leading roles in billion dollar movies. 8 - EVA MENDES (Ghost Rider & Hitch). Wouldnt sign at her press conference for 5 people...wouldnt sign at the hotel as she left for 1 person...and at an autograph signing the day before, had a list of rules a mile long that the "lucky" fans were to adhere to, including, not talking to her. In a word, she was a "bitch" the entire festival, regardless where you met her. 9 - REESE WITHERSPOON (Legally Blonde). Only difference between her & Eva is, she atleast pretended to be nice for 3 seconds on the red carpet...just long enough for the paps to get shots of her signing...then hurried inside. While in Vancouver filming, she did not so much as ONCE stop for an autograph or photo with request. The few times she was on set where there was a crowd of onlookers, she would hastily leave the set as soon as the scene was done & get back to her trailer, even if it was only for a few minutes. She is the epitome of the stereotypical Hollywood diva. Her drunken tirade that was caught on camera by the cop that's now infamous wasn't a 1 off thing, this is her attitude every day. 10 - BEL POWLEY (??) Two festivals in a row, I have watched her completely ignore ALL requests for fan interaction. This last time, using the excuse she was running late.... despite 1 of the people in the same event having her driver not even show up, and managed to get there easily 20 minutes before her. No Bel, you werent “late”. You got there exactly when you wanted.... as late as possible, so you didnt have to interact with people. 11 - RICHARD ARMITAGE (Hannibal). came in with 20+ celeb gazers of various levels waiting for other various people coming in from an event. Only ONE person from all of them wanted to meet him or even cared when he walked by & tried asking for just a photo with & all Richard could muster was a look of utter disdain & ignored the fan, while 20 other people didn't even bother to move 1 foot for him. 12 - ANSEL ELGORT ( The Fault In Our Stars ) - Yeah, I am shocked too. How does someone with pretty much NOTHING on his resume have such a big attitude? Everyone else in the bottom 10 has at least done something Iconic in their career. Not Ansel. Worse yet, was the cocky egotistical smirk he made as he ignored the public at his red carpet. Not even saying "no, sorry, I cant.", just smirked. Saw him later on tell a girl of 10-12 yrs old holding a DVD cover "yeah, I'm not doing that" when she asked for his autograph. 13 - NATALIE PORTMAN (V For Vendetta) I had heard for a long time how terrible she was.... so I had to go witness it myself. Odd turn of events, I got to witness it twice. First time she stormed down the red carpet as if it was a catwalk & not a place to promote your movie & meet fans. Second time, in a much smaller setting, she hurridly scurried out the back of the theatre she was at into a car without even waving at the 20 or so fans there. 14 - ALAN CUMMING (X-Men) Shocks me to say this....because I met him a few times back when he did X2 in Vancouver, and he was pretty accommodating back then. But fame has gotten to this TV actor. Saw him no less than 3X at the 2017 TIFF, and each and every time, he pretended he didnt hear the dozens of people asking him for a photo or an autograph. 15 - WINONA RYDER (Various police mugshots around Beverly Hills) Often says to anyone who sees her anywhere & asks her for an autograph "I only sign for kids" despite no one under the age of 25 yrs old even having a clue who she is anymore. 16 - KIRSTEN DUNST (Spider-man) Stormed thru the airport, all she said the whole 2 minute walk was "no" when someone asked her for an autograph. Refused to sign, refused to do photos with, didnt even break stride on her way to the car. 17 - BRIE LARSON (Room). Selective hearing is a problem that the Academy award winner seems to suffer from. She was quite capable of hearing all the questions reporters asked her in the press pit, but seemed incapable of hearing 100s of fans asking her to interact with them at her red carpet event. To her credit, she has openly stated she owns it & doesnt give a shit. I can respect that... still a bitch, but I can respect her bitchness. 18 - DAX SHEPARD (Parenthood) Till the day I first saw him, I couldn't have told you a person existed named Dax Shepard. Neither could most of the people he ignored while his more esteemed co-stars signed & took pics with fans, Dax sat in a van waiting to leave at his press conference for about 10 minutes. 19 - GAEL GARCIA BERNAL (The Motorcycle Diaries) the man thinks hes a rock star...and while he does seem to be popular with some ladies, his ego dwarfs his actual popularity 5 to 1. Seen several times now, seen him give 3 autographs and 2 photo withs total in all of those encounters. 20 - K.J APA (Riverdale) For someone who is literally the 6th (or even lower) most popular person on the show hes supposed to be the lead of, you would think he'd be more eager to keep fans. When told by someone "even Tom Cruise signs", he replied "I'm not Tom Cruise". TOP 10 NICEST MUSICIANS/GROUPS1- ANDREW WK - Might be the nicest celebrity, PERIOD. No disrespect to those at the top of the actors list, but Andrew has often gone beyond whats expected. My own experience with him alone makes him incredible. After his show he did an autograph session inside the show. Once finished, he then proceeded to invite myself & 2 others waiting outside, inside where he signed out items, adding incredibly detailed, personal & creative inscriptions one ach item & then did photos with. After that I heard & read so many more reports of how at major festivals, after his autograph time was done, he would set up an impromtu session at the side of the stage for people who were not able to get up to him before the time ended for his session
2- ROBERT SMITH - Even with his bandmates wiating in a van for him, to go to sound check, that he was a few minutes late leaving for, he stopped and signed almost every single item severla people had, took photos with, and never once did he complain about how many items anyone had, and his guard only ever really looked annoyed after 1 person tried to come back with more items after getting their 1st bunch done. Class act, respectable security, iconic name, almost impossible to match that combo. 3- ROB THOMAS - Despite 1 time that he snubbed the dozen or so people waiting, he has always been great. That 1 snubbing was not his fault...and next time I saw him, he was back to the great & cool Rob Thomas I knew from previous encounters. 4- CHAD KROEGER - You dont have to like his music, but there are few celebs more cool & laid back than Chad Kroeger. besides being a great signer, a willing poser for photos, I also watched him attempt to break up a fight on the street 1 night, despite not having any vested interest in either party. What type of celeb does this? Very few. 5- ROGER WATERS - Roger gets it. He has played the game long enough to know... be nice to people, and they will support you. Be a jerk, and they may support someone else. I never was much of a Pink Floyd fan growing up, but after meeting him on 3 different trips & having him be super class each time... I am more of a fan now. For the record, the most professional bodyguard I have ever encountered works for him. He is up front, doesnt get in the way unless its actually needed & personable. 6- BILLY JOEL - I saw the guy about 5 days straight, every single time, despite knowing he signed for us, he willingly signed again. Even at a private airport that most celebrities never meet fans at, he stopped, got out of his van & met us as he left town. 7- BONO - I went back & forth on deciding whether to put U2 in as a group, or individually. IN the end I opted for individually, since there is a legitimate difference in how great each of them are. Bono COULD be a top 3, except for the 3 or 4 times where I have seen him completely ignore small groups of fans. But I have seen him be great so many times, he deserves to be on this list. The classiest of a a band of mostly classy guys 8- JAMES BROWN - Very friendly, very personable. Even despite feeling he had been ripped off by a major music supplier, something that would anger other entertainers to perhaps not sign. He not only signed the items, he went into his trunk & found another item to sign & give to me for making him aware of what was possibly happening. 9- THE 100 MONKEYS - Any band that Jackson Rathbone is in has to almost by default be on this list. But the rest of the band are terrific too. Their manager is great with the fans too. 10- LADY GAGA - Considering the star power this woman has amassed already, it would be understandable if she denied requests for autographs or photos with when she is somewhere. But in my 4 encounters with her, thats not the case. Even when security TRIED to stop her from signing for someone, she tells them who is in charge, and willingly signs the items. 11- BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - In 3 encounters with the Boss, he has signed each time. His last trip thru, he was so nice, many of the local regulars ran out of items for him. 12- PUFFY AMI YUMI - Despite a language barrier, this pair of Japanese pop stars signed everything my friends & I had, posed for photos with & even held up the signed items for us. 13- PETER BUCK - Have you ever had a musician in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame come up to your table while you were eating looking to sell you his bands CD? I have, that man R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck. My friend & I were attempting to get Buck's other group, The Minus 5 in Seattle where they were playing at a restaraunt Buck owned. We asked if the CDs were for sale to a person working the door of the small music venue off to the side of the restaraunt, a few minutes later, Peter came to our table personally with the CDs in hand to sell us. Talk about service. 14- PAUL BRANDT - Met several times, each time class. Including the time at a smaller venue that doesnt get too many notable acts, where the guards tried to force me to leave & when I told Paul about it, he apologized about it & asked if there was anything he could do. 15- LEONARD COHEN - I might not be much of a fan of his music, but his people skills are exceptional. Hes the type of guy who truly appreciates the fact people know who he is. Always been a class act. Honourable mention - Dave Grohl, Adam Clayton, Sam Bradley, One More Girl, Axl Rose, The Tragically Hip, Sam Roberts, Joe Satriani, Elton John, Sean Lennon, Mark McGrath, The Wilkinsons, The Ennis Sisters, Avril Lavigne, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Mark Hoppus, Dave Matthews Band, Eddie Vedder, Billy Idol, Annie Lennox, The Pierces, Steven Tyler, Coldplay (minus Guy Berryman), Lars Ulrich, Gordon Lightfoot, Soul Asylum, Meat Loaf, Snoop Dogg, Celine Dion TOP 10 FAVORITE ATHLETES OF ALL TIME1- ALEK STOJANOV - former NHL player. When he was with the Canucks recovering from an injury, he would occasionally invite the hounds out on the ice to play a bit of pass & keep away.
2- HAYLEY WICKENHEISER - former Canadian female hockey player 3- DONOVAN BAILEY - former Canadian Sprinter 4- BRAD MAY - former NHL player 5- USAIN BOLT - former Jamaican sprinter 6- ANDRE DE GRASSE - Canadian Sprinter 7- KOBE BRYANT - former NBA player 8- JENNA DANIELS - former LPGA golfer (I hate golf btw) 9- KEVIN HODSON - former NHL player 10- JENNIFER BOTTERILL - former Canadian female hockey player HONORABLE MENTION- Brendan Shanahan, Brock Boeser, Penny Oleksiak, Jarome Iginla, Bo Horvat, Petr Nedved, Ron Delorme, Jeremy Roenick, Stan Smyl, Pavel Bure, Craig Conroy, Stacy Wilson, Cammi Granato, Shannon Szabados, Terhi Mertanen, Noora Raty, Valentina Lizana, Michael Clemons, Danny McManus, Morgan Pressel, Belen Mozo, Andre Aggasi, Pete Sampras, Deion Sanders, Henrik & Daniel Sedin, Cliff Ronning, Igor Larionov, Jon Montgomery, Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Christine Sinclair, Dennis Rodman, Magic Johnson, Shareef Abdur Rahim,. Bryant Reeves |
BOTTOM 10 MUSICIANS/GROUPS1- ADAM LAMBERT- Promised to sign for people at the front of an autogrpah meet & greet area after being whisked away by a peon who made him start at the back end first. Came back thru & didnt follow thru on his promise, even after being reminded, he did nothing more than waved the back of his hand at us. He was also the first person of the tour to finish his autograph session... aka- he had LOTS of time to keep signing. Later on, with only 8 people waiting at the hotel, he ignored ALL requests, including a 7-9 yr old girl who was wearing 1 of his shirts who he simply shoved aside. Also, only person I have ever attempted to get that caused me to get injured... and its SOLELY because he didn't honor his agreement when fans started pushing forward in a panic after he ignored us.
2- CHRISTINA AGUILERA- Wouldnt sign, had the van pull up so close to the door both times that you couldnt fit a hair thru, let alone a CD...let alone it was completely cut off from any fans being able to get near her. Sure enough, she put on a fake nice persona at an autograph session while here once, but before & after it, she was the diva bitch you expect. 3- CRAIG NICHOLLS- The lead singer for a has been bunch band clearly was in a drug induced freak out at the time granted... but his game of "should I, no, ok, wait, no, yes I wi...no, wait, I wont" that he played was angering. He then proceeded to get in a shouting match with us 100 feet away in an alley way. 4- MAC MILLER - For someone that no one over the age of 19 has heard of, he sure acts like he has 47 Grammys & a lifetime achievement award. This 1 hit wonder & his posse of leeches got into a verbal argument with several people at his hotel. Sad part is, every word they said, made them sound more sleazy. I'll give Mac 1 thing...he was at least the 1st 1 of his group to walk away. 5- DRAKE - For someone who is barely famous in Canada, let alone virtually unknown in the rest of the world, he sure acts like hes a member of The Beatles. Not only did he show up 15 minutes late for a premiere he was supposed to attend, and didnt even muster a nod of his head to the 1000s of fans waiting in his hometown during 2017 TIFF, later that day, he had his hired meatsuit get into a heated altercation with a car after leaving the event. 6- ADELE - For someone who is really only famous because of 1 song (yes, I know 8 Grammys blah blah blah.) she sure carries an attitude that would make you think shes in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame with 10 Platinum albums & 62 Grammys. Showed up to a crowd of 4 people, only 2 even wanted to get an autograph & she speed walked in without even lifting up her head. After the show, she had her vehicle taken into an alley that NO ONE ever uses to sneak out, ignored the 3 people waiting there despite literally being 2 ft from them & left without so much as a single word said. 7- BLUR - Meeting them 10 yrs after their 15 minutes ended they were still full of themselves. You would think when you walk out to less than 10 people waiting, you would be humbled a bit. Not these guys. They just acted as if it was still 1995. 8 - CARRIE UNDERWOOD - Despite full well knowing there was people outside her bus waiting for her, she opted to hide inside till the very last second, then rushed into the arena ignoring the dozen or so people waiting by her bus. Not even so much as a "sorry, I have to go" lie. Nothing. 9- BRITNEY SPEARS- Two consecutive trips here, someone was assaulted by 1 of her goons. To date, I havent met a single person who has gotten her in Vancouver. 10- DERYCK WHIBLEY- Assaulting someone with a Whopper, let alone spitting on the same persons photo as his way of saying no, gets you on this list for sure. At an autograph session, he, along with his bandmates at his encouragement, signed 8x10 photos with fake names thinking it would ruin the collectors items. 11 - RUBY ROSE - Apparently this "DJ" thinks shes hot shit because she is a bit character on an online TV program. Wouldn't sign for 3 people and allowed her "handler" to lie for her repeatedly and even when shown proof that he was wrong, opted to ignore it. 12- CARLOS SANTANA- Said no. Said he didnt have to explain himself to me...then blamed not signing on me taking his picture AFTER his multiple denials. 13- NSYNC- Entire group, less than 8 foot walk over to the rail to a crowd of a couple dozen people. NOT ONE came over. Since then, 3 other encounters with 1 of the group members, Timberlake between myself & others have had just as successful of result. 14- JANET JACKSON- Her defensive line of guards stood infront of a store while she snuck out the back, to avoid 2 people. She even denied 2 people at the airport upon her arrival infront of cameras. She spent several weeks here practicing for a tour, never heard of her signing even once. 15 - STEVE JOCZ - You would think a guy who threatened to fight me (with his dozen or so friends assisting) would rate higher, but I have actually had a couple ok encounters with the chump. Dishonourable mention- Prince, Bryan Adams, Oasis, Larry Mullin Jr., Mike Dirnt, Jack White, Dixie Chicks, Sting, Maynard James Keenan, Ciara, Guy Berryman, Josh Klinghoffer, Linkin Park, Tom DeLonge, Keith Richards, Rod Stewart TOP 10 MOST DETESTED ATHLETES1- MARKUS NASLUND ...not a joke. He wrote a formal complaint whining to the Canucks because I told him we didnt need him & I couldnt wait for him to leave. oh for the record, As it turns out... I was right. We didn't need him.. we went on to win the Presidents Triophy 2 & 3 seasons after he left.
2- TIGER WOODS 3- VINCE CARTER 4- SEAN AVERY 5- JACK HUGHES 6- BARRY BONDS 7- JUSTIN GATLIN 8- MARK MESSIER 9- MICHAEL PHELPS 10- HOPE SOLO Dishonorable mention.. Manny Malhotra, Steve Nash, Ray Emery, Brad Marchand, Ben Roethlisberger, Mike Weir, Jamie Sale, Annika Sorenstam, Tom Barrasso, Ray Rice, Alonzo Mourning, Donald Brashear, Patrick Roy, Alex Radulov, Erik Karlsson, Jimmy Mann, Anson Carter, Joe Thornton, Lebron James, Sam Cassell, Ricky Williams, Roger Clemons, Adam Burish, Duncan Keith, Michelle Wie, Mark Scheifele |
TOP 50 ALL TIME TV SHOWS
1- DEAD LIKE ME- (2 seasons and a movie - ended) How it only got 2 seasons is one of TVs biggest mysteries. The head of MGM & Showtime should be fired... or reaped... as it turns out, granted a few yrs too late...the guy who canned it...got FIRED by them. Some justice was served I guess. (Highest ranking since this list was created 1st)
2- FRINGE- (5 seasons - ended) I was lured into watching the show by a friend, and was hooked after the 1st episode. Once it moved to Vancouver, I was even more into it. Also makes me wonder, what my Alt-world version of me is like. (Highest ranking 2) 3- ROBSON ARMS- (3 seasons - ended) CTV cancelled this, brought it back, then cancelled it again after a 3rd season without thinking ahead. Always will wonder how season 4 would have gone if they did it. (Highest ranking 2) 4 - THE KILLING - (4 seasons - ended) If it were not for Veena Sud, the showrunner of the series incompetence in misleading viewers in season 1, this probably would be in my top 10. Still hold a grudge for that. Still the best Crime-drama on TV right now despite her incompetence. (Highest ranking 4) 5 - PSYCH - (8 seasons & 2 movies - ended) A smart ass immature fake psychic who solves crimes by just being really observant? I sort of imagine its how I would be if I solved crimes. The rest of the cast is terrific as well, right down to the recurring guest stars. (Highest ranking 5) 6- SUPERNATURAL- (15 seasons - ended) Having met the majority of the main & secondary cast made me give the show a try. Now 1 of my top all time shows. First 5-6 seasons - amazing. Last 5 seasons - ok (Highest ranking 3) 7 - LEVERAGE - ( 5 seasons - ended) A group of criminals is brought together to work a job for a con man, with 1 honest man fueled by revenge against the company who aided in his sons death, overseeing the group. When the job is done, they never planned on seeing each other again... till they are conned by the conman & all work together again to get him back, thus forging a relationship that sees them go around using their skills to help people in need. (Highest ranking 8) 8 - THE BLACKLIST (10 seasons - ended) The complicated life of former spy Raymond "Red" Reddington has built a continual web of mystery, lies and illusions that keeps even the most observant fans guessing at where the show will go next. (Highest ranking 8) 9 - HOUSE M.D.- (8 seasons - ended) I probably like it so much just because Hugh Lauries character he reminds me so much of myself. Only difference is, he has a medical degree to validate his ego. (Highest ranking 6) 10 - CASTLE - (8 seasons - ended) Author/wannabe crime fighter Richard Castle might be my favorite egomaniac character ever. Mostly because, while he thinks hes hot stuff, he also shows concern & care for the people around him. Brilliantly balances that. (Highest ranking 10) 11 - HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER- (9 seasons - ended) This show was Legen.....wait for it........... DARY! Narrated by "future Ted" it tells the very long story of how Ted meets the mother of his children as he tells it to his children you see all the mis-steps he & his friends made along the way to him meeting her. Despite 9 great seasons, it has to date 1 of the WORST finales in scripted TV history.(Highest ranking 4) 12 - BURN NOTICE - (7 seasons and a movie - ended) Imagine if MacGyver were on The A-Team. Now modernize it. Voila- Burn Notice. Only difference is, I dont recall anyone on the A-Team ever getting help from their mom. I've lowered this shows ranking a bit on this former top 10 show as the last couple seasons got away from its original premise some. Still really good though. (Highest ranking 9) 13 - LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER (7 seasons - active) The most informative talk show on television right now, and perhaps, ever. Using humour as a way to talk about real world problems that many dont even know exist, this HBO show has quickly become the standard for talk shows, and scary as it sounds, new programming as well. (Highest ranking 13) 14 - CORNER GAS- (6 seasons and a movie - Ended) Probably the most successful Canadian comedy sitcom ever. Can you believe I woulda ranked it higher, but the series finale was IMO weak. (Highest ranking 10) 15 - DEXTER- (8 seasons - ended) First season was one of the greatest 1st seasons of any show ever. The season with John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer might be 1 of the greatest seasons of a show ever. The show did have a couple mediocre seasons in the mix, but when it was on, it was the best TV around. The finale was an epic letdown however. (Highest ranking 5) 16 - 21 JUMP STREET- (5 seasons - ended) A show that started Johnny Depps career probably should be on most favorite shows lists you would think. (Highest ranking 10) 17 - PERSON OF INTEREST - (5 seasons - ended) A pair of vigilantes, 1 with massive financial resources & a machine that can see dangerous situations, and the other a trained assassin who goes around stopping the situations his partner tells him about. If only these guys existed in the real world. (Highest ranking - 14) 18 - SUPERMAN AND LOIS (4 seasons - ended) It was a slow start for me getting up the charts. I loved the show throughout. But its the shows consistency for being great that gets it into my top 20. Tyler Hoechlin & Bitsie Tulloch delivery in every episode as Superman/Clark Kent & Lois Lane. Best superhero series finale episode. (Highest ranking 18) 19 - IZOMBIE (5 seasons - ended) Liv Moore becomes a zombie after a boat party, and to satisfy her new desire to eat brains, she leaves a promising medical career to work in a morgue. What she doesnt know is.. with each brain you eat, you gain their visions & personality traits. So she then starts using her new knowledge to help solve their deaths. (Highest Ranking 18) 20 - THE WALKING DEAD - (11 seasons - ended) Pretty certain if there is ever a zombie apocalypse, the fans of this show will be the ones who end up surviving the longest. (Highest ranking 5) 21 - THE BOYS (3 season - active) (HR 21) 22 - THE GOLDBERGS (10 seasons - ended). (HR 12) 23 - SHERLOCK - (4 seasons - ended) (HR 21) 24 - THE NEWSROOM (3 seasons - ended) (HR 8) 25 - ARROW (8 seasons - ended) (HR 11) 26 - REACHER (2 seasons - active) (HR 25) 27 - COMMUNITY - (6 seasons - ended) (HR 21) 28 - THE MANDALORIAN (2 seasons - active) (HR 44) 29 - STARGATE UNIVERSE - (2 seasons - ended) (HR 15) 30 - THE COLBERT REPORT - (11 seasons - ended) (HR 15) 31 - RICK AND MORTY (7 seasons - active) (HR 46) 32 - THE BIG BANG THEORY- (12 seasons - ended) (HR 20) 33 - LUCIFER (6 seasons - ended) (HR 40) 34 - HAWAII FIVE-0 (10 seasons - ended) (HR 36) 35 - CHUCK (5 seasons - ended) (HR 21) 36 - DAREDEVIL (3 season - ended) (HR 32) 37 - BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (6 seasons - active) (HR 33) 38 - CONTINUUM (5 seasons - ended) (HR 34) 39 - UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT (4 seasons - ended) (HR 35) 40 - THE FLASH (9 season - ended) (HR 24) 41 - WYNONNA EARP (4 season - ended) (HR 37) 42 - DIRK GENTLY'S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY (2 seasons - ended) (HR 38) 43 - DOCTOR WHO (15 seasons - active) (HR - 28) 44 - THE DAILY SHOW (28 seasons - active) ( HR 9) 45 - BATWOMAN (3 season - ended) (HR 59) 46 - LUKE CAGE (2 seasons - ended) (HR 41) 47 - THE GOOD FIGHT (6 seasons - ended) (HR 45) 48 - SANTA CLARITA DIET (3 seasons - ended) (HR 44) 49 - GALAVANT (2 seasons - ended) (HR 47) 50 - LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (6 seasons - ended) (HR 42) 51 - GOTHAM (5 seasons - ended) (HR 32) 52 - THE GOOD PLACE (4 seasons - active) (HR 51) 53 - THE OFFICE (9 seasons - ended) (HR 32) 54 - FUTURAMA (7 seasons - ended) (HR 47) 55 - ELEMENTARY (7 seasons - ended) (HR 49) 56 - TRAVELERS (3 seasons - ended) (HR 50) 57 - PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ (6 seasons - ended) (HR 48) 58 - LIMITLESS (1 season - ended) (HR 39) 59 - BOJACK HORSEMAN (6 seasons - ended) (HR 54) 60 - BLACK LIGHTNING (4 seasons - ended) (HR 58) 61 - KILLING EVE (4 seasons - ended) (HR 60) 62 - THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT (10 seasons - active) (HR 62) 63 - THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY (4 seasons - ended) (HR 63) 64 - STARGIRL (3 seasons - ended) (HR 64) 65 - ARCHER (14 seasons - ended) (HR 65 HONOURABLE MENTION - Xena: Warrior Princess, Stranger Things, The Punisher, Late Night With Seth Meyers, Narcoleap, , Misfits, 13 Reasons Why, The Player, Criminal Minds, This Is Us, The Good Doctor, Luther, Quantum Leap, Sleepy Hollow, King And Maxwell, Almost Human, Undergrads, Lie To Me, Unforgettable, No Ordinary Family, X Company, Revenge, Hellcats, CSI, CSI Miami, Saved By The Bell, Late Night W/ Conan O'Brien, Conan, Family Guy, Family Ties, Married With Children, South Park, Arctic Air, Trailer Park Boys, Danger Bay, 2 Broke Girls, Falling Skies, Eureka, Primeval New World, The Millers, Making A Murderer, The Defenders |
TOP 50 MOVIES OF ALL TIME
1- HAPPY GILMORE - I'm in it for 2/3 of a second. But even without that cinematic debut performance, I think it would still be on my top 10 list.
2- SCREAM - My favorite horror/comedy by far. Not a joke, I went to see it 50+ times in the theatre. Granted, 40+ of those was in a $1 theatre...but still, I enjoyed it that much. 3- THE DARK KNIGHT - Sure, 80% of the appeal of the movie is on the back of the amazing performance of Heath Ledger as The Joker. But I actually thought the rest of the cast did a decent job as well & there was enough action to warrant the approx 2 hr wait I had to get into the theatre at the midnight release. 4- THE WEDDING SINGER - Judging by this, you would assume Adam Sandler is my favorite actor of all time lol. But his 2nd entry in my top 10 is one of the best romantic comedies ever...and his song in the middle of it is utter GOLD. 5- IN BRUGES - Dark & sometimes warped comedy. Most amazing part is, its in my top 5 movies, and I ended up seeing it with no idea it existed at the time. Friend & I were at the theatre going "hmm, lets see a movie" & this was there & I suggested this on the basis that Colin Farrell was better than the random romCom actor that was the lead of the other movie suggested. BEST random decision I ever made. 6- CASABLANCA - About the only positive that I can find from my relationship with my last girlfriend is that she insisted I see this movie. Unquestionably the best movie made pre-1980s & the is the reason I have given several other older films a chance over the years. 7 - JOHN WICK 4 - Its rare to see the best film of a franchise come out after the first couple, but JW4 did that. Sure, it was long, the actions cenes are a bit unbelievable. But entertainment value from those scenes is a 10. 8- LETHAL WEAPON - One of the best action/comedy series of all time started with this one. 9- MY COUSIN VINNY - You sort of have to be a soulless monster to not laugh at this movie. 10- GRINDHOUSE - A 2 movie horror fest (featuring Planet Terror & Death Proof) that was with all due respect to my more favored movies, probably my favorite movie going experience still of all time. 11- BORAT- The stupidity of it is so over the top its unbelievable...yet still believable...if that makes any sense. 12- STAR WARS IV - A NEW HOPE - The original Star Wars. Do I really need to explain this more? 13- MAJOR LEAGUE - The 1st of the series of films. The Cleveland Indians owner dies, leaving his wife as owner, and she wants to make a team so bad the fans will stay away, giving her the out to move the team to sunny Florida, but of course, this group comes together & ruins her plan. 14 - FORREST GUMP - I know I dont need to explain this film to you, because you MUST have seen it by now. Classic. 15 - BLACK PANTHER - While it is not rare to see Marvel make an exceptional Superhero movie, what they did with Black Panther was more than the others. It elevated the platform for People Of Colour to finally have a superhero thei can identify with at the helm of a major film. 16- THE WHOLE NINE YARDS - Funny movie about a dentist who has a price on his head from his wife, and the hitmen who were supposed to do the job, but cant after getting to know him. 17- CON AIR - A man who is being released from prison ends up on a flight full of dangerous criminals that end up taking the plane, and its up to him to save himself, his friend and all. 18 - V FOR VENDETTA - Somewhere, Guy Fawkes must be smiling when he sees what his face has generated, and not just from this movie, but movements that have rallied behind the anonymity of his mask. 19- GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY - I wasn't sold on it when I saw the trailer the 1st time, but I liked Chris Pratt & Bradley Cooper, so I gave it a chance and was glad I did. 20- SUNFLOWER HOUR - It is the most inappropriately brilliant & funny use of puppets & mockumentary film making I have seen. Brilliant. If it comes to your town & you arent afraid of suggestive material, you should see it, you will laugh, I assure you. Currently only available on iTunes sadly. 21 - SPIDERMAN: NO WAY HOME 22 - CORNER GAS: THE MOVIE 23 - DUMB & DUMBER 24 - MACHETE 25 - KICK ASS 26 - TAKEN 27 - THE LION KING 28 - JOHN WICK 29 - DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE 30 - SICKO 31 - MEN IN BLACK 32 - WARRIOR 33 - DJANGO UNCHAINED 34 - UP 35 - GROUNDHOG DAY 36 - DEADPOOL 37 - KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE 38 - FERRIS BEULLERS DAY OFF 39 - JOHN WICK 3 40 - THE AVENGERS 41 - CLUELESS 42 - SHARKWATER 43 - CATCH ME IF YOU CAN 44 - A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN 45 - SOUTH PARK: BIGGER LONGER UNCUT 46 - STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 47 - STAR WARS: THE RETURN OF THE JEDI 48 - DIE HARD 49 - PITCH PERFECT 50 - JOHN WICK 2 51 - ICE AGE 52 - INSIDE OUT 53 - THE PRINCESS BRIDE 54 - AVENGERS: ENDGAME 55 - THE BOURNE IDENTITY 56 - JERRY MAGUIRE 57 - TUCKER & DALE VS EVIL 58 - THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM 59 - AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR 60 - AIRPLANE 61 - DEADPOOL 2 62 - SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE 63 - MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING PART 1 64 - 8 MILE 65 - THE BOURNE SUPREMACY HONOURABLE MENTION- *Psych The Movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars The Last Jedi, Spider-Man Homecoming, Hot Fuzz, Argo, The Terminal, Thor Ragnarok, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, Shrek, Chronicles of Narnia The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe, Walk All Over Me, Save The Last Dance, What About Bob, Ghost Busters, Secretary, The Hitmans Bodyguard, Little Miss Sunshine, Wild Things, Jack Reacher, Puss In Boots, Beverley Hills Cop, The Distinguished Gentleman, Coming To America, E.T, Rush Hour, Crocodile Dundee, Horrible Bosses, Ratatouille, Memento, Bad Times At The El Royale, Secretary, Hercules, Revenge Of The Nerds, About Time, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street, Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: The First Avenger, Crazy Rich Asians, The Magnificent Seven, Austin Powers 1, Austin Powers 2, Air Force One, Waynes World, Airplane 2, The Naked Gun, The Naked Gun 2, The Naked Gun 33 1/3, Karate Kid, Shazam!, Death To Smoochy, Air Force One, Total Recall, Look Whos Talking, Seven Psychopaths, Pitch Perfect 2, Zootopia, The Bad News Bears, The Hangover, Spider-Man Homecoming, Billy Madison, Short Circuit, Twins, Thor: Ragnarok, Inglourious Basterds, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Skyfall, Quantum Of Solace, Blue Beetle, Pirates Of The Caribbean 1,2,3, Die Hard 1,2,3,4, Lethal Weapon 1,2,3.
