Twilight Saga series has made a lot of stars out of no ones. Perhaps none more than Robert Pattinson.
I have had a few chances to shoot pics of him, along with get autographs.
Most often...its when hes at a bar. Almost always, its with multiple castmates at his side...as shown in this set with Kristen Stewart & a almost un-noticed Nikki Reed lurking around his every move.
if you are 1 of the 817 viewers of my candid photos section of this site...maybe these arent new to you...but they certainly are....bigger.
While my wrist isnt 100% quite yet, its much better.....sooo, some blogging can finally be done.
With the 3rd installment in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse now in the theatres....time to toss out a few more pics of the cast while they were here filming New Moon & Eclipse.
First up...the females. I have far less photos of them than the guys, they were just seen less often by me.
So, heres so previously un-posted pics (in my blog...if you actually have checked out my candid photos section..maybe you've seen some of them) of Ashley Greene, Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart & Nikki Reed... with special cameos by Ian Somerhalder, Taylor Lautner & Robert Pattinson.
I am typing this essentially 1 handed (still using my left hand...minimally....but mostly doing it right handed).
Something is wrong with my baby finger &/or wrist that has made using my left hand for typing quite...well...unbearable.
So this is just a short blog to let everyone know the Twilight Eclipse blog I was working on is still being worked on...but might not get posted for a few days. Had hoped for it to be posted Friday night...but, well, that hasnt worked out.
Also...sorry to anyone who emails me right now & was hoping for a reply... if I dont reply back...its probably because of my wrist problem.
The 2010 Leo Awards, the 12th annual awards show for excellence in TV & Movies in B.C. took place last weekend.
With an array of stars mainly from the sci-fi world there from such shows as Sanctuary & Stargate SGU dominating the red carpet, perhaps the most sought out star was from neither of those programs, and is merely 15 years old.
Of course Jodelle Ferland, the teenage girl who plays Bree Tanner in the 3rd installment Eclipse, of the mega-hit movie series, The Twilight Saga was one of the most desired interviews there. Not even old enough to drive legally yet, the pint sized cutie from the lower mainland was in demand on the red carpet. She was there as a nominee for Best Performance by an actress in a short drama, for her role in "Everything's Coming Up Rosie", but it was her role in the hit movie series that was getting her the most attention.
Even though I still know her as the 1st girl Georgia Lass reaps in the TV series Dead Like Me, and to many, she is known in films like Silent Hill or Good Luck Chuck, it will be the Twilight series that for awhile people will know her from most likely.
To her credit, she handled it very well. With her agent at her side on the carpet, she answered questions about the film she was there for, as well as her upcoming work in Twilight Saga Eclipse that hits theatres later this month (June 30th).
She willingly signed autographs for the handful there asking. She posed for pictures with the fans & collectors, and even was willing to talk breifly on camera about the new book about her Twilight character "The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner" which hit the shelves that same day (you can see that clip in my 1st Leo Awards blog)
Here is some shots of her from her red carpet arrival. More shots will be added later today or tomorrow.
The cast of SGU was well represented at the 2010 Leo Awards. With 17 nominations, they had plenty of their cast on hand as nominees & presenters.
There was no less than 7 cast members in attendance for various reasons. Among them Julia Benson (WINNER- Best Supporting Performance by a female in a Dramatic Series), David Blue, Patrick Gilmore (Nominee- Best Supporting Performance by a male in a Dramatic Series), Elyse Levesque, Lou Diamond Phillips, Jennifer Spence (Nominee- Best Supporting Performance by a female in a Dramatic Series) and Brian J Smith.
The cast members were exceptionally accomodating with autograph requests on the red carpet. Many of them even taking the time to pose for photos with fans & dealers alike, despite not being on the media side of the ropes.
As always, Lou Diamond Phillips was front & centre in the class department. His castmates were all terrific, but LDP was truly a step above everyone at the awards, as autograph request after request, photo request after request, random questions about the show, poker & general life were asked, all answered as well as he was capable of. His performance on the red carpet has earned him a spot in my Best celebs list.
The cast of Sanctuary were in full force for Saturday nights 12th annual Leo Awards. With the sci-fi show leading all nominees at 17, there was a lot for the cast to be excited about.
Below is a few photos of various cast that walked the carpet, including Chrstopher Heyerdahl (WINNER- Best Supporting Performance by a male in a Dramatic series), Ryan Robbins (NOMINEE-- Best Supporting Performance by a male in a Dramatic series), , Robin Dunne (WINNER- Best Lead Performance by a male in a Dramatic Series), Agam Darshi (NOMINEE- Best Supporting Performance by a male in a Full Length Drama), & Amanda Tapping (NOMINEE- Best Lead Performance by a female in a Dramatic series), .
The cast was all class. Each cast member signed willingly for the small group of fans & dealers that were along the red carpet.
The 2010 Leo Awards happened last night in Vancouver & all of the local stars of movies & TV were out to celebrate the 12th annual awards for British Columbia film.
This years version had a little Twilight flavour in the mix. Along with Christopher Heyerdahl from New Moon (Marcus), young up & coming cutie Jodelle Ferland was also at the awards, a nominee for Best Performance by a Female in a Short Drama. Ferland, 15, showed up & walked her way thru the couple dozen media outlets on her way into the show.
With a book being released the very same day (June 5th) about her character Bree Tanner "The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner" in the soon to be released movie "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" movie (in theatres June 30, 2010 ), Ferland was excited, to the point of not really following what I was asking of her when we had the quite short talk about the book by Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer.
Jodelle earlier in the day had eagerly told her Twitter followers to go out & get the book & tell all their friends. She seemed truly proud of the book, even if she seemed at a loss for words what to say about it when questioned about it.
Although Jodelle failed to win in her nominated category, the young up & coming star certainly had an exciting day already. Afterall, it is not everyday that you have a book come out on a character you portrayed, in 1 of the largest phenomenons of your generation.
