A few weeks ago I saw a tweet from a former regular on Supernatural saying he had a Pilot to shoot in Washington state.

Unforutnateiy, I have learned not to trust tweets from SPN cast. Jim Beaver last year with his abominable snowman movie, Madison McLoughlin just recently, and even in person I have had guest stars claim they werent here for Supernatural.... so when I saw a tweet from Jim Beaver saying he was filming in Washington State for a pilot I could find no info on anywhere, I just knew what was coming.

Sure enough, he arrived in town & was more than shocked to see me there along with his driver waiting for him. After a moment of "Oh crap, the secret is out" look on his face, he asked me not to tell anyone till after the ep. I told him "I'll hold off till the CW promos it". He said "they wont, its supposed to be a suprise for the fans".

Well, like everything the CW has ever done, they got it wrong. Instead of a big shocker for the fans next week...they sure enough showed the ever so breifest clip of Bobby Singer in this weeks promo ad for next weeks episode 819 "Taxi Driver". While most may have missed it, the small percentage of fans who didnt have already started tweeting about it & ruining the big reveal.

A couple weeks ago I found Supernatural filming in East Vancouver for episode 820.

Earlier in the afternoon they shot a scene at the Hastings Community Centre, subbing in for the "Shawnee County City Morgue" in Kansas. I didnt really get there in time for that shoot, but I was around for the evening shoot.

Sadly, getting an idea position wasnt easy & worst part was, the crew members who didnt even know it, but were at times cutting off the most ideal spots to take photos of.

In the scene I saw Jensen Ackles ( Dean Winchester ) is in his prized Impala with a mystery woman. I was told by some its Felicia Day, but I am not as convinced of this... even though it would make sense as how many other women would the Winchesters allow in the Impala & she had reddish hair.

Unfortunately, my photos from that night are quite grainy (I've read some whiners saying how my photos arent that good etc... well, if you want me to take better photos, tell the shows to quit shooting at night, or you can give me a lot nicer camera. Remember, taking photos IS NOT my job. I do this with a $500 camera, not a $5000 camera.) sodeciding if it is or isnt Felicia Day is beyond my abilities. Two different people have told me it is. One has said it isnt. I dont think it is either. Sooo, I dunno.

Anyways, I added a few photos of Jensen returning from the Peoples Choice Awards a couple months ago to offset the terribly grainy pics.

Recently I posted some photos of the Winchester Boys suited up & running around for a scene in episode 817, which will be on this Wednesday March 20th after the torturous Hellatus.

Well, here is some video of the same scene on 1 of the takes.

Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki (Dean & Sam Winchester) get out of their Impala and sprint into a hotel across the street for the scene.

I also have some video of Jensen (w/ Jared as passenger) driving the Impala in reverse down the street  taking it back to the mark for the next take that I might post when I find the time.

About a month ago I caught Supernatural out filming scenes for episode 818 in Vancouver near the Train Station.

For the set of scenes I saw over 2 nights, there was 4 actors in the scene. Of course, the always familiar Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester & Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester were clearly recognizable. But who were the other 2?? Well, I still dont know who 1 is, and the other I didnt know right away. When I got home from shooting the 1st night, I asked a friend if she recognized "the girl with the gun" as I described it to her. She instantly said without hesitation she thought it was Madison McLaughlin, known to SPN fans as "Krissy" from "Adventures In Babysitting", the other woman I still dont know.

The next day, the same 4 cast members were on set, and after shooting that evenings scene I knew my friends instinct about Krissy being back was right.

I sat on this spoiler for awhile, thinking I had it in my pocket.... the The CW went & posted a promo showing Madison McLaughlin plain as day in it, killing the spoiler.

So, here are the admittedly grainy photos (shooting from about football field away in the pitch dark & smoke machines going will do that) from those 2 nights of Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Madison McLaughlin & still unnamed 2nd actress (ANYONE who knows, please feel free to let me know & I will revise this).

As you likely know by now by reading the other 3 blogs (links below) I posted from the filming I saw for episode 817... I had a LOT of photos to wade thru.

So here is the final batch.

The 1st time I have seen Sam & Dean Winchester doing a scene together in a long, loooong time this week happened.

After getting a fairly uncirculated lead from one of my more reputable sources, I opted to take the tour over to the corner of Hornby & Helmcken to catch some SPN filming action.

Supernatural filmed a scene for episode 817 in downtown Vancouver on Tuesday & both Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles were in attendance for the rare downtown Winchester Brothers Daytime sighting.

The scene really had very little to it. The boys drive up in Deans Baby, The Impala. Stop, get out & run across the street into the Murray Hotel (located less than a 1 minute walk from the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel... for those fan con attendees from out of town looking to location hunt when you come bext time).

I grabbed a handful of photos of them filming, and in between scenes for over an hour & 1/2 before a crew member at the nagging of another crew member, took it upon himself to try & prevent me from taking photos on their 2nd to last take. Mission NOT Accomplished for that poor misguided soul, as the 90 minutes prior of standing in plain sight shooting the scene gave me more than enough material for 3 blogs.

So heres some action photos... I will post a "in between takes" blog later on when I have a bit more time.

A few weeks ago, Felicia Day returned to Vancouver to reprise her role as Charlie on Supernatural.

The episode "LARP And The Real Girl" episode 811 is believed to deal with some of the live action role playing that Ms. Bradbury's character would certaily seem confortable around.

The set was out in Mundy Park in Coquitlam for a few days, and I went out there 1 day to take a look around & found out soon...the crew were not welcoming of people being near the set.

A couple days before I went there, a pap from here was actually threatened, attacked & assaulted by the crew for being in a PUBLIC PARK. So I was pretty cautious of where I went & when. As it turned out, I too was chased for awhile thru the woods by a crew member, and while I was capable of keeping out of his line of sight for the mostpart, the truth is, I never got really too close to the actual set either.

A few off in the distance pics of their tents, trailers and some props that I imagine were going to be used later, or had already been used, was all I was able to get on the hour or 2 I ventured around parts of the 176 hectares of thick forrest, sporting fields & walking trails that make up Mundy Park.

The weather was an intense, non-stop pouring rain that drenched me to the bone within 1/2 hr of being there, and that, more than the roaming wannabe hunter that was trying to track me, discouraged me from staying longer.

Below is some pics of the set from a distance, as well, a few of the cast in outfits going to the set early in the morning. Frankly, I was too far away to be sure who, if anyone, was who. I thought the guy in the hoodie was Jensen Ackles, but then decided I was probably wrong when I saw he was wearing glasses....but turns out, it was. I did get pics of 2 different red heads, perhaps 1 of them was Felicia...but really, I wasnt so sure... If anyone can ID any of the people shot, feel free to let me know & I will properly tag them.

EDIT- I have had confirmation (as you can see in the comments below)_ that both Jensen Ackles AND Felicia Day are in these photos.

Let me start off by saying, my favorite emails I get are delusional hate mails. They truly are fun to read.... Sooo, before I get onto last nights adventure, I thought I would share 1 of these nuggets of wisdom, and my very professional & personable reply to them.

So, last night the cast of Supernatural returned from their Chicago fan convention.

AS EXPECTED (except by the crazies who think the world is a conspiracy theory)all the stars coming to Vancouver came in together. Jared Padalecki (with his wife Genevieve, and son Thomas), Jensen Ackles, with their bodyguard "Clig?" & Misha Collins.

After my encounter, as I usually do, I tweeted about my success & failures. Had a couple questions about it, tred to answer as many as I could before bed. Then woke up & read my "fan mail"

Usually, an email like that would get a snarky reply from me, and no follow up "proof", because I believe in not negotiating with terrorists. They want the pics, so they try to bully them out of you with "pics or it didnt happen" philosophy. A couple times over the years I have posted photos because of such whining, but 90% of the time, I usually let the nutjobs debate my "lies" in their tinfoil hat clubs.

This particular email woulda got the same enthusiastic level of "go fuck yourself, I dont care what you believe", but I did have several people on twitter & email say "I dont care how grainy they are...please, can I see them".  So I uploaded them into my computer & looked to see if anything was salvagable, and was mildly suprised to see that while still shitty, they werent horrendously impossible to identify the persons in them shitty. So I decided, I'll add them.

Now, lots of confusion on several facts that were asked via twitter, and this charming chap or lass above that I'll possibly explain in the actual blog part of this post.

I got to the airport and ran into another autograph hound, who much to my chagrin didnt even have anything for the SPN guys except for Jensen. Wish I had known that sooner, he coulda helped me with my plethora of Jared photos I still have to get done.

Once the flight landed, Jensen came out about 11:55'ish (give or take a couple mins) and was being escorted by their bodyguard. As I saw them approach I realized their driver was going to meet them at the door. The door only opens from the inside, with Clif there, it was no shock, but they let their driver inside & went thru the out door that was right there. I now had a 150-200 ft speed walk around the side to get outside & hurry down towards where the vehicles were waiting. As you can see by my pics, never got really too close. Knowing Jared still had to come, I snapped a couple quick pics, hoped maybe I got something & knowing damn well I probably didnt, and headed back inside.

About 10 or so minutes later, Jared popped up on the screen, with Gen a Porter and a bunch of luggage. Gen had Thomas in 1 of those carry them on the front of you things mothers use, while Jared walked along with her & the porter. As they came around the corner, I snapped a couple pics of them as I knew by the time they got to the door, I might have to run outside. So I didnt even wait to see if they went thru the inside or went right outside, I headed straight outside. Sure enough, thats what happened as well. I made the beeline outside knowing they will be slower with the porter pushing all the stuff & Gen carrying Thomas & I might actually have a chance to get up to them. I made it out there in plenty of time this time. As I waited for them to get to the vehicle, I displayed my photos to Jared & asked if he can sign (contractually, hes not allowed to till Midnight) and was all ready to tell him "but its after midnight" when he took a quick look at his watch and then replied "sure" and proceeded to sign. He then said he hadnt seen me in a while, I told him I was out of town for awhile, he asked where, I told him Toronto, he said "oh, I was just there last month" which of course I knew.

While the driver & porter were loading the vehicle, I broached the question to Jared "can Gen sign right now, or is it a bad ti..." "yeah sure" then he called Gen over, and she signed, while Thomas sat in the contraption I dont know the name of. I said hi to Thomas, and he didnt even say hi back, how rude eh?

Jared & I talked for a few more seconds, I asked him about getting a photo of him & Gen together. He thought for a second about it & replied "maybe another time, when shes not with thomas" & I knew he was basically saying "haha, no.. I know what your trying to do", but he was quite cordial & professional in declining it I thought. I then let them go on their way.

When I got back inside the other autograph hound told me "Mishas over there" & although I had nothing for him, I went to say hi. He was busy trying to figure out where his driver was. Seems his driver wasnt as familiar with what he looks like as he shoulda been. In the drivers defense, Misha was wearing a touque, so he probably did look a bit different. I told Misha, I think that was his driver (with his face almost pressed up against the glass he was so close) looking longingly into the arrival area for his client. He started walking over, and the manager/head driver of the co. was just coming back in from escorting Jared out (I thought he drove him, but appears not), and I told Misha "ask him" & sure enough he summoned the driver against the glass to come over, and Misha was eventually on his way too.

Because these photos are, to be honest, some of the worst ones I've taken, I didnt even tag them. IF you repost them anywhere, please include a link to the source. If people can play by these rules, I'll try to be less intrusive with the tags I put on the better photos in the future.
