TODAY October 25th, 2011 is the last day to nominate new shows, actors, actresses, characters etc for the "Best of TV 2011 Awards".

I have recieved about a dozen nomination blog posts, twitter replies, facebook msgs & 1 actual email. I expected a bit more than that....but, its a start. I have taken the liberty to adding a few myself in a couple categories that were thinner than expected.
Nominees for "Best animated program", "Best suporting actress", "Best non-human character/prop", "Best couple" and "Best episode" are a thinner than expected list...so if you have ideas for there...let us have them.

Here is, the CURRENT list of nominees.

If you are unsure about rules on who/what is eligible...check out the details here...
http://canadagraphs.weebly.com/1/post/2011/10/nominations-for-the-2011-best-of-tv-awards.html

The best quote category has been removed....due to 2 reasons, 1 - no nominations & 2, I realized some of them would be too long to post on a poll question.

Sometime this evening pacific time, nominations will CLOSE!!!

Send your nominations in to this blog post, or 1 of the options listed in the link above.

Back on October 2nd, a fanbase got their wish via a source that no one had heard of when the show was last on the air 5 1/2 years ago.

When Jason Bateman made this tweet "It's true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie. Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early '13. VERY excited!"  http://bit.ly/pnk5so earlier this month, a long rumoured rumour became a fact. There was indeed more episodes and a movie of Arrested Development in the works.

A site I have done work for in the past discussed the potential AD movie last year when GOB & Michael Bluth were seen together leaving the Olymoics up here in Vancouver. http://bit.ly/qLuwFV Even back then, the fans were asking the question "when will this project start?" and now, thanks to the answer from Mr. Bateman's tweet, we have that answer.

Over the years I have met many cast from the show...but, had never seen the show....till this past month. When the announcement was made, I thought "what the hell, I'll give it a try". Needless to say I finished the entire series in 3 sittings. So now like all of you, I am impatiently waiting new episodes.

Below is a few pics from the times I have seen some of the cast. Several Michael & GOB Bluth (Jason Bateman and Will Arnett) shots from the Olympics weekend, a few of GOB when he was here filming a TV pilot that spawned the abysmal "Running Wilde" program. A few photos of Kitty Sanchez (Judy Greer) from when she was at TIFF in 2010 promoting PEEP WORLD. Also 1 of Lindsay Bluth Funke (Portia De Rossi) when she was here recently with her wife Ellen DeGeneres on a tour Ellen was doing.

Perhaps when I go thru my archives of old pre-digital photos, I will find the 1s I took of George-Michael Bluth (Michael Cera) a few years ago at Toronto International Film Festival.

Rejoice Arrested Development fans, your family is scheduled to return .... in 2013.

Here are a few pics from earlier this month on the set of Supernatural.

I got the pics from a friend who was at the set, so I do not have the rights to sell these as with all my other sets. But, she did allow me to post them so that all of you can see them.

The pics are of Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) and guest star that week DJ Qualls (a hunter...no more info is known yet) on set.

These pics were from the last day of shooting for DJ who made headlines while being in Vancouver when his trip started off being roughed up by Police while trying to ID someone to the cops after he witnessed someone assaulting someone downtown.

Of course, bigger news from the Supernatural world to come out this week, is the announcement from Jared on his twitter that his wife, Genievieve Padalecki is pregnant and expecting the couples 1st child. Congratulations to the couple.

Last week, before I broke my camera, I captured a few frames of Josh Jackson (Peter Bishop) and Seth Gabel (Lincoln Lee) on the set of Fringe for season 4 filming.

Gabel was donning his alt-world attire with the leg holster gun as he was heading to set. Jackson was however not in wardrobe yet when I saw him.

Unfortunately, these were the very last shots I would take with my camera before it was broken from dropping it.

Fringe is on FOX Friday nights 9PM eastern & pacific.

To see some pics from filming for this upcoming weeks episode, check out these old blogs of ours... MINOR SPOILERS!!

Joshua Jackson RETURNS to set

Anna Torv & John Noble on set.

PHOTOS CONTAIN VERY MINOR SPOILERS. Nothing season spoiling, and likely, even episode spoiling. But simple spoilers of who did scenes with each other recently. If you want to know absolutely NOTHING about upcoming episodes...do not read on or look at the photos.

This past week I managed to stumble onto 2 different Fringe shoots.

The first day they were in the West End at an apartment where lots of police tape was in use for the scenes being shot. I saw a lot of cast on set, but only had a chance to get photos from Seth Gabel because of timing. Also on set that day were Anna Torv, Jasika Nicole & Lance Reddick. I also saw John Noble at the set, but he was not dressed in character. He was at the set with his real life son, I assumed at the time he might have been just showing up for work, but never saw him after that...so perhaps he had just wrapped..or was passing by & said hi (I've seen it before with this cast)

The next shoot was 2 days later in the Yaletown area of town at another apartment. This time there was scenes shot in plain sight in the alleyway. The scenes involved Anna, Seth & Lance at another situation that had crime tape, Boston PD cars, the swat team, and an Observer. They also shot some scenes inside the lobby prior to that, but I dont have much insight on what that entained.

In any case, I took photos of course. As always, like with the other sets I have shot this year (links below) and in previous seasons...feel free to post them on your site WITH THE TAGS...or you can get them without the tags for purchase.

Probably the most fascinating photo of the bunch for me is where Lance is signing...and behind him...an Observer. They are everywhere.

Last year we had the 2010 Best Of TV Awards, the inagural awards here for it. It was responsible for almost 100,000 votes last year.

Winners were selected in 7 categories lasst year- http://canadagraphs.weebly.com/best-of-tv-awards-polls.html

This year, we have even more categories.
To nominate someone, something or a show in its proper category...you must contact us thru 1 of these 3 ways..
1- THIS BLOG POST (not other posts or the contact section),
2- Or on our official  facebook fan page http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/canadagraphsweeblycom/101034953308978
3- Thru twitter by at messaging me at @Canadagraphs or @Canadagraphs2 w hashtag #BOTVA2011

The rules.
Rule 1-
ALL Nominations must be based ONLY on work of episodes that aired for the first time in 2011 prior to October 25th, 2011 (except for new shows- up to Nov. 15th permitted).
Rule 2- You can nominate at all available outlets (facebook, twitter or here) if you so choose to.
Rule 3- Sci-fi category covers anything dealing primarily with paranormal based shows. Regardless if its a comedy or a drama, if its paranormal based...its Sci-fi. This will dissolve the frustrating "Vampire Diaries/True Blood isnt a sci-fi, its a drama" argument of last year. TVD/TB is a sci-fi show, and thus its show & actors will compete in those categories.
Rule 4- You do NOT have to vote in every category...but you must vote in at least 3 for your nominations to count.
Rule 5- you can nominate up to 3 in each category... if you want to nominate more than 3, remember, you can nominate thru twitter, facebook and here.
Rules for each category...
Nominations for TV shows-
TV show must have at least 6 episodes in 2011 and can not have debuted in 2011.
Nominations for new TV shows - Have/will debut in 2011 prior to November 15th, 2011
Nominations for best actors/actresses - Must be in at least 8 episodes on the specific show they are being nominated for, in 2011. New show actor/actresses that have yet to meet this requirement can be nominated if they are proven to be regulars and will have more than 8 episodes on that show before the season is scheduled to end.
Nominations for supporting actors/actresesses - Must be in at least 3 episodes, no more than 7 on the specific show they are being nominated for in 2011.
Nominations for guest stars - Must be in 1 and no more than 2 episodes of a specific show they are being nominated for in 2011.
Nominations for favorite character - Must be in at least 3 episodes of a specific TV show that it is being nominated for 2011.
Nominations for favorite non-human co-star or prop - must be in at least 3 episodes of a specific TV show that it is being nominated for in 2011. This category covers anything including... animals, vehicles, electronic devices, weapons, and any other things that are not human that you think may be relevant to a story.
Favorite quote - Must name the actor or character that said it, epi # or title & the program name (so that I can look it up easier to verify its legitimacy) that took place in 2011.
Favorite couple - Name the characters, the show. They must be either married/dating on the show, or hooked up at least once in that season for something more than a 1 off kiss, in 2011.
Best Episode - Name the program and episode # OR title.
Sexiest actor or actress - must have had a speaking role on an episode of a TV show or movie that premiered in 2011

Last years winners (in categories where they are eligible) and the top 2 runners up are already nominated. With main acting categories being divided now, finalists from last year have been put in most relevant category.
