"Family Day" is Today - An ACTUAL FUCKING HOLIDAY - Invented by a woman who couldnt keep her own Family together - B.C. Premier CHRISTY CLARK

Today is "Family Day" in British Columbia. Its an actual Holiday. That means banks, post offices, Government buildings & many small businesses are CLOSED. Transit is running on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.

If you have not heard of "Family Day" before, dont worry, no one else has either. Its made up. LITERALLY. 

The soon to be unemployed B.C. Premier, Christy Clark, quite literally shoved this holiday into the schedule. Apparently Ms. Clark felt she needed 1 more day off from the many days off shes already taken neglecting & ignoring her job of running this Province with any level of competence. Doing nothing is hard work you know. She needed a day away from it.

The idea of "Family Day" is to spend time with your family. As someone with no immediate or distant family I am aware of within a couple thousand miles of me, what the fuck am I supposed to do with this day Christy? How about people who have recently lost family or split from family? What do you think THEY are feeling today? Do you think THEY are happy to be reminded about family today? Doubtful.

Your holiday is offensive to those without families. Whats next "Married People Day"?? Maybe "Parents Day"? This holiday is a farce. It has no actual reason to exist. All other Holidays are based on actual events. Christmas,
Easter, New Years Day, B.C. Day, Canada Day, Victoria Day, Remembrance Day and Thanksgiving are real Holidays based on actual events or actual historical
dates. Family Day? Its made up. Might as well have "Unemployment Day" or perhaps "Employment Day" holidays while you are at it. They make as much sense as this one.

Your overwhelming hate to do any work must be pretty massive to start making up Holidays. I mean you already avoid actually DOING anything helpful for this Province as it is...now you are taking days off that you should be working.

I'd like to know Christy, what do YOU do on "Family Day" that is so different from all other days. Do you neglect your family the other 364 days a year, much like your job?  Or do you do something really bizaare on Family Day & actually do your job? No? Didnt think so.

In 2022 I suppose there is a bright side however. I can take my most hated Commercial Excuse day & my most hated Holiday & hate both of them in 1 shot when Family Day" & Valentines Day are on the same day.

With any luck, Family Day will be expunged from the list of REAL Holidays before the 2022 double-hell day. I dont know why you felt we needed this to begin with. Was it really that vital to tie Saskatchewan & Nunavut for most
Holiday days in Canada? Would you not rather we be known as a hard working Province, and not the slackers we are so often seen as by everyone?
