Supernatural shoots scenes for episoe 1015 with Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Travis Aaron Wade4/30/2015  Better late than never? Right? Lately I have fallen quite behind on posting my blogs. Like QUITE behind. Perfect example, this post is for episode 1015 "The Things They Carried". The episode aired more than a month ago, so that gives you some idea how behind I am on some things. Anyways, on this particular day they filmed scenes at a house (that I now know to be the house that the wife & baby of the army guy the boys & guest star Travis Aaron Wade were looking for in the ep) Early in the day Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki shot scenes inside with the baby & the Michelle Morgan. Once those scenes were done, they waited for it to get dark and moved to doing exterior scenes with Jared, Jensen & Travis. Those scenes of course include the one where we see Cole in the Impala with Sam & Dean. A scene I tweeted about at the time, which angered more than a couple Castiel fanaticals to say the least. In the scene they drop Cole off where his truck was parked in front of the soldiers house... which we know how that turned out now. In typical SPN crew fashion (mainly you know who), efforts to try & block me from getting pics of things were made once the person in question was aware of my existence. But, as you can see, I still snagged a few here & there. Supernatural is taking part again in this years May madness tournament, as a show, and several characters in the character tournament. THIS POST CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR AN EPISODE OF "SUPERNATURAL" FROM SEASON 10 - If you do not want to see possible spoilers prior to the episodes airing, DO NOT continue reading, or viewing the photos below. . . . last warning . . Supernatural returns tonight with its season 10 premiere. This season we will hopefully find out what has/will happen with Dean Winchester after Crowley awoke the sleeping hunter at the end of season 9 to the shock of fans, to reveal the fact he is now a demon. The "Deanmon" story line I suspect will play out for awhile, after all it is a show that is not shy about beating a tired story to death long after its best before date. But HEY, maybe the writers will shock me for once and wrap this up well before the mid-season mark (HA!). One thing IS certain about season 10... they have not been seen around much for filming. I have only come across the sets for the show twice this season. Once waaaayyy out in Surrey (a place I try to avoid...but to prove a point to a few psycho nutjobs... I went out there) and barely saw anything out there the day I was there. I managed 1 "ok" pic of Jensen and Jared there. A few weeks later, after I returned from a trip I ran into their set only blocks from my house, in daylight. What a rare treat. They were filming scenes for what I suspect was episode 7 (COULD be 6 or 8.. I never did find out which # it was for certain) with Jensen Ackles in an alley, gun drawn on a man that I was later told was Travis Aaron Wade who is playing a character named Cole, a hunter that is hunting Dean now that hes a demon. Here are the pics I managed. Early on in their shoot we were allowed reasonably close to the set for a couple takes (at least close enough I was able to tell with my naked eye that Jensen was there) but were soon moved because we were "in the shot" to another entire block away. While they were technically right about it, where we moved to would also technically be "in shot" and the several people who were NOT extras just hanging out in the park that was in the background werent asked to move... just us watching. Oh well, minor inconvenience. Still managed a few, less awesome shots of the scene still even from there. I also added 1 pic of Jensen and Jared Padalecki from the shoot in August. Supernatural returns TONIGHT October 7, 2014 on The CW, it will follow another Vancouver shot series we cover "The Flash".
