Supernatural did scenes earlier this week with a few cast in downtown Vancouver for their season 14 finale. On day 1, they did an afternoon scene with Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles. You can find that post, with photos HERE.

This post is about their morning scene. I was lucky enough to get an early morning tip about SPN shooting in an alley next to the old Woodwards Building. I have been to this location for other shows in the past. It is an L shaped alley that due to the venue next to it, leaves a lot of space to watch things there.

The early scene had Misha Collins as Castiel shooting a scene with two people. When I got there a fan at set said he was shooting with a guest star, Taylor Hui. There is a couple photos of her below, but I really have no idea who her character will be yet. After Cas stops talking to the Taylor, he turns around and walks towards another person at the other side of the alley. Who is it? Well, its none other than Rob Benedict as... God? Chuck Shurley? Carver Edlund? Based on his dress attire, I am going with God. A reddish purple dress jacket doesnt really come across as a Chuck wardrobe choice. The pair have a conversation in the alley that in the end really doesnt seem to end with anything. They dont seem to be in a heated argument, or in a joyous & welcoming conversation. After an hour or so of filming this scene, they went to lunch, and both actors were nice enough to stop and sign autographs and take photos with the couple people there waiting for them. They were in and out of there so quick, almost no one even saw them there. After lunch they moved on to the J2 scene mentioned above, and the angel and the deity were not seen agian that day.

Supernatural wrapped their 14th season of shooting Tuesday night with some interior scenes that I did not go down for. The boys now are off till July.

Supernatural did scenes earlier this week with a few cast in downtown Vancouver. On day 1, they did an early scene with other cast that there will be a different blog post on later this week that included Misha Collins. But a poll I ran on twitter had an overwhelming decision to see the photos of the later scene first. You can find the Misha and *Spoiler* photos HERE

Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester shot a scene where the pair are driving in the Impala. They pull up to a business that is seemingly in Nebraska based off a prop car in the parking spot there, and walk in dressed like they were pretending to be some type of Detective/Feds.... which is pretty typical for the Winchester boys.

During breaks Jared sometimes would spend the break hanging out at the Impala, while Jensen went and sat in the transportation vehicle that brought them..... which on that point, I was surprised to see their long time driver not around on this day. Did he finally get fired? Or did he just sleep in?

I also ran into the pair at the wrap party on the weekend. For the first time in 3 1/2 years I finally was able to get Jared to sign. Since the purchase of his plane, he has been more than a tad elusive for me. Jensen was less receptive to the idea, but in his defense, it seems he was put in a bad mood by a guest of 1 of the crew members. I saw someone get kicked out of the party, and a crew member apologizing profusely to one of the higher ups about his guests actions, and all we heard when they walk away is "that was the star of the show you pissed off". Since Jared was already gone at that point, pretty safe to assume who he was talking about.

Supernatural did scenes last week with a few of the cast and guest stars. Much of the shooting seemed to include the stunt team. But some of the stars were also on set at different points of the shoot.

Misha Collins, Jim Beaver, Samantha Smith, Alexander Calvert joined 1 of the shows 14 season veterans Jared Padalecki at the set. Guest star Dean Armstrong joined them as well.

Whatever they were shooting inside the small vacant property wedged between a bar/hotel and a restaurant is unknown.... but it certainly didnt seem to be going well for Castiel or Bobby, as Misha, Jim and their doubles were seen covered in blood and bruises.

During breaks, Misha, Jim and Dean all came over to see people at different points of the day.

Supernatural did scenes back in late January for an upcoming episode in downtown Vancouver.

I didnt spend a lot of time at the set because it was January in Canada at night.... so a tad chilly. But while I was there, I did get a few photos of the two people on set at that time.

Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester was on set with a woman who it took me awhile to be sure of since I was looking at the scene in a dark alley from about a block away. Kayla Stanton, she played a reaper named Jessica in episode 5 of this season.  I saw a couple fans that night insist they saw Ruth Connell there, but I never saw her there.... I feel they confused Jessica, whos hair looked very red in the light there for Ruth because of the hair colour. To be brutally honest, till I got to see the photos on my computer screen, I wondered if it might be Danneel Ackles, since she was supposed to be on the show this season & from that far away, the resemblance was not far off. But once I saw them on my computer screen I knew it wasnt her. Thus leaving me waiting till info about the episode came out to narrow down who it was.

The scene they shot wasnt too lengthy. It had Dean standing there with 1 gun, then reaching down to find a second gun. Then Jessica stepped into frame, and they shared a brief conversation before the scene cut.

Supernatural did scenes back in late January in New Westminster for episode 1316 "Scoobynatural", directed by show producer Robert Singer. The episode, which is already known to most fans as the episode where they will be for part of the episode animated as the gang from "Scooby Doo" will join them on screen.

This particular night they shot scenes at a pawn shop in New West with the shows main 3 cast, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles & Misha Collins, along with a guest star Peter New.

In the first scene I saw when I got there, the trio walk out of the pawn shop, before each of them individually walks towards & then past the camera. I couldnt say too much about what the scene entails, but it had Jared leave first, then Misha with Jensen eventually leaving after the others already had. Then they shot a scene inside the pawn shop after that. That then was the end of Mishas night.

Eventually, the scene moved back outside, with the Winchesters hauling out a big screen TV from the pawn shop as the character Peter New was playing in the earlier scene held the door open for them while they "struggled" to get the machine to their car. During breaks from that scene, they showed off to the crowd how light the TV actually was by carrying it single handedly at times. Eventually they wrapped that scene, and everyone went home.

A few days after my first encounter with the Supernatural cast & crew in New Westminster, I found them in the Mt. Pleasant area of Vancouver shooting scenes for possibly the same episode, or the one right after it.

This time however, both brothers were accounted for. Jared Padalecki was on set with his on screen brother Jensen Ackles for a little Winchester brothers family therapy session maybe. The pair shot scenes outside a house that was doubling as a "family therapy" office. While I am sure every SPN fan can unanimously agree they probably could use some family therapy, I suspect the two were there to solve some supernatural event instead...... and maybe get some therapy.

There was little to see during the daytime scenes while I was there (I apparently in the 45 mins I was gone did miss 1 exterior scene of them). The only thing there was to see of them was them out on the porch standing and waiting to film scenes where they walked into the house with 1 other, younger actor.

Eventually they finished that scene, and Jensen left for the night while Jared filmed a scene where he drives down the street in a convertible Mercedes. After he shot his final take, he walked over to the fans, to tell then he was sorry he couldnt spend more time interacting with them, but that 1 of his dogs had passed away earlier in the day and he was rushing off to deal with that.

Supernatural filmed scenes for season 13 episode 3 back in August. I caught up with them one day in New Westminster.

In a pretty rare occurrence by my experiences, I found them shooting a scene with only ONE of the Winchester Boys on set. Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester was shooting scenes with frequent recurring actress Kim Rhodes as sheriff Jody Mills where the pair were in Deans impala and stopping at a gas n sip to refuel Baby & probably themselves. At the end of their shoot at that location Mr. Ackles decided to take Kim on a several block joyride in the car, as he peeled out of the set & drove off, around a couple blocks in Sapperton, before returning to the next location with the car, across the street at Caps Bicycles.

At the location across the street, Dean & Jody were joined by a recurring character from waaaaaay back in season 1. Loretta Devine returns 12 seasons later to resume her role as Missouri Mosely, a psychic that we meet back in episode 9 of the shows existence. The scene sees Dean walk up, run into Jody and Missouri outside a psychics business in Omaha. He chats to both of them, and shares hugs with them before going back to talking with them.

Eventually, that scene wrapped, along with Kim and Jensen, and the production moved inside the psychic office to film more scenes with just Loretta.

Since I had just a plethora of Jensen pics, I added an extra gallery of JUST him at the bottom..... remember when re-posting them on social media, you should credit back to this post & to limit to 4-6 photos TOTAL (not per individual social media post) & let your followers know if they want to see the rest...they can come here... after all it IS FREE.
