Sherlock won with 131 votes. This was only the shows 2nd finals appearance, the last coming in 2014 when it finished 3rd. With a limited run every season, and seasons only coming every 2 years, it is a show many fans often forget about come voting time. Somehow, this year, it bucked that trend and won. With benedict Cumberbatch as the shows lead Sherlock Holmes, and Martin Freeman as John Watson, the show has constantly been an online favorite. But here, because of the time of year the awards go on, it never seems to have managed to get its appreciation here.
