All other rules still apply. Now that parts 1 through 3 of the massive Crisis On Infinite Earths cross over has been aired. It is time to post a bunch more photos from the sets I visited. You can of course still find the original sets in the links posted throughout this mega-post, or at the bottom of the page, along with all the sets from the episodes not yet aired. I am going to post these sets in the order you may have seen them in on your screen during Crisis. So first up, the moment when Audrey Marie Anderson as Lyla Michaels aka Harbinger recruits Grant Gustin as Barry Allen aka The Flash. The link to this scene, and more from this days shoot will be further down, as it was part 2 of that days shoot. The second part is the scene where Harbinger goes to Gotham City to recruit Ruby Rose as Kate Kane aka Batwoman. This blog post also contains a few shots of Burt Ward on set for his cameo. AS WELL, it contains a spoiler for the Legends episode in the write up in the blog post. SO be warned now. If you choose to read it & dont just look at the photos. No spoilers in the photos. You can find that post HERE There was a scene shot in David Lam Park with several Supergirl cast on set doing the scene where we see people getting escorted to the large alien ships to leave Earth 38. In the scene was Nicole Maines as Nia Nal aka Dreamer, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers as Azie Tesfai as Kelly Olsen. You can see more photos from this scene (as well as the Flash & Harbinger scene above) in this post HERE There was then the scenes from the Supergirl episode where we see several of the heroes scattered around a couple places at an area called Plaza Of Nations. First up is a set of photos from the shoot they did right in the middle of the Plaza Of Nations. To be honest, I expected this scene to be like 10-20 seconds longer when it appeared, considering this took up more than half a day of their filming. There was also some shots of them filming on top of 1 buildings there that I shot first at this location, but I am posting these in chronological order of the episode airing them, soooo.. For this shoot they had The Flash & Batwoman, along with Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen aka The Green Arrow, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer aka ATOM, Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers aka Supergirl, Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent aka Superman, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak aka Blackstar. They were shooting a scene where the group is there, and are splitting up, as Flash, Supergirl & Superman leave, while Batwoman, Green Arrow, ATOM & Blackstar head into that building that we saw the battle with the Shadow Demons happen. The rooftop scenes were the first thing I saw filmed at this location, but as we know, they were the last thing shown for location scenes in the episode, as this is where the big fight with the Shadow Demons. The scene where Oliver Queen is mortally wounded. On location for that shoot they had The Flash, Batwoman, The Green Arrow, ATOM, Supergirl, Superman, Blackstar, and LaMonica Garrett as Mar Novu aka The Monitor (although I never got any photos of him up there). You can see the other photos from this set HERE Lastly, a short set from the 3rd episode for The Flash. On this day I saw 3 people on set there, John Wesley Shipp was there, but I only got 1 photo ofhim that day, which you can see in my prior set. I also got some photos of Tom Cavanagh on set, but since those were for one of the episodes that has yet to air (warning, if you go to that blog post... you WILL see a photo of him in there thats a spoiler), I did not include any of those here. But finally, I did see Ashley Scott as The Huntress on set that day for her short caemo appearance. You can find that blog post HERE Want more Arrowverse materials not related to Crisis?

SPECIAL BONUS FOR YOUTUBE CONTENT CREATORS WITH OVER 10 MINUTE VIDEOS FOR THIS POST ONLY! - I will allow 8 (Eight) photos this time, instead of the usual 6, because of the multiple scenes to cover. All other rules still apply. The massive 5 episode, 6 TV show Arrowverse cross over Crisis On Infinite Earths has begun filming in Vancouver. On this 2 day shoot, Supergirl was shooting a variety of scenes in downtown Vancouver, at a location that has been frequently used by Arrow over the years. On set for day 1 - Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/ The Green Arrow - Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/ The Flash - Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/ Supergirl - Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/ Superman - Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer / The ATOM - Ruby Rose as Kate Kane/ Batwoman - Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak - LaMonica Garrett as either The Monitor or Anti-Monitor. Much of the filming was up on the roof of 1 of the buildings at the Plaza Of Nations. This is a roof top that Arrow has used so many times, I've lost count. (Including the season 8 premiere, which was on the same night these scenes were being filmed). It was new however to see it in use during the daytime. Throughout the morning & early afternoon the cast, and the stunt doubles did a variety of large explosion type scenes. For a while I walked around trying to find a decent spot to film, but as you can see from the photos below, rarely was I able to find a spot where I could even see much more than the top of their heads most of the time. As the day pushed on, I moved from trying to find a place to shoot to the actual part of my job that justifies me doing any of this, getting autographs. So I stood near the exit and watched as cast member after cast member left through the afternoon. One I saw leave that I never saw up on the roof was LaMonica Garrett. He was decked out with his Monitor hair do (now that I've seen a photo of the Anti-Monitor, its easy to know which is which). As I waited around there, I got Brandon Routh and Stephen Amell to sign, which was bittersweet in both instances, as it COULD be the last time I get either of them, depending on how things shake out for both actors & their filming schedules in these final days of the cross over & their respective shows, as both will be leaving soon. After lunch, I didnt see much happening, and it was clear that they were going to be filming inside the abandoned Edgewater Casino, so I left for a couple hours for my own lunch break. As anyone with Stephen Amell on social media knows, a photo with all the cast that were there (minus LaMonica) was taken that evening with his daughter Mavi. While I did see some of the cast leave, I managed to not actually see them all leave. After the wrapped a few of the cast, I headed home, knowing full well I'd have to do this again the next day potentially. On the second day, all the same cast as the first day were there shooting, except LaMonica Garrett. This time, the day started off with the cast filming in the remnants of the old Plaza Of Nations amphitheatre, which now is just an empty pit. The scenes they shot seemed to have the cast all showing up to a spot amongst the rubble, as the Green Arrow and Mia Smoak are the last two to arrive, the group has a small chat, before the Supes fly off, and a group of 4 including Batwoman, The Green Arrow, The ATOM & Mia walk off past a burning car. An odd occurance happened while this scene was being shot. Just randomly, after a few takes, the crew started all holding up umbrellas angled in a way to try and prevent me from seeing what was going on. This isnt a NEW tactic. But it is new for Supergirl.... and, as I pointed out to multiple staff that day, one that never works. All it does is annoy people at set doing what I do. It doesnt stop us. Just annoys. We still get our shots, we just have to try a bit more. They wated the resources of EIGHT crew members on this fruitless tactic, instead of them doing their actual jobs. I am sure WB and The CW would be thrilled to know multiple hours of crew time were spent unsuccessfully trying to block 1 person from getting photos. There are certain things I am sure in all types of work/hobbies that newcomers just dont understand how its a thing.... and I am sure this has to be 1 for newcomers to this. Its never succeeded on a single thing I've been at. All it does is frustrate people like me, which then makes us try a bit harder, and thus, be an inconvenience back. Whether on that day, or down the road. Eventually, the cast & crew moved back inside Edgewater to continue on shooting stuff from the scenes from the day prior. I called it a day at that time, and headed home. UPDATE: OCTOBER 26, 2019 - Video from the shoot has been added at the bottom of this post. All other rules still apply. The massive 5 episode, 6 TV show Arrowverse cross over Crisis On Infinite Earths has begun filming in Vancouver. Yesterday, they were shooting a DC's Legends Of Tomorrow portion of the cross over at couple of businesses & at Victory Square in downtown Vancouver. In the early part of the day, they were shooting in a business known as "The Paper Hound" which is a small independent bookstore. I did not get to see what the scene entailed from the inside, but I know Dominic Purcell was around for it, and they did a scene that had people running on the outside of the building. After that scene, they moved a couple doors down to a frequently used location by the film industry, The Permanent. It has been a reception hall for the Oliver & Felicity congratulations party after they piggyback married during Crisis On Earth X, its been a bank for The Flash, and likely many other things I cant recall right now. On this day, I dont know what it was supposed to be standing in for, but there seemed to be 3 notable people in the scene. Grant Gustin was there as The Flash, Caity Lotz was there as White Canary, and an unknown man was there dressed in a suit, with a red cape. Maybe a magician? Whatever was going on, it seemed to end with White Canary punching out the mystery man. After they wrapped, I actually saw that there were two mystery men, not sure if 1 was a stunt double for the other, or if there was 2 of these characters in the scene. After that, the crew went to lunch & prepped the area down the street for their night time exterior scene at Victory Square After the lunch break, the crew and cast arrived at Victory Square to shoot a night scene. The Flash fans know Victory Square very well, as it is where we watched Savitar kill Iris over, and over, and over again, ending with the unfortunate death of H.R. instead in a ruse perpetrated by the team. To make it more of a call back to that location, the scene they shot was right in the spot that the death happened. In the night scene, we had Grant as Barry Allen and Caity as Sara Lance sitting on the stairs talking. It was clear that it was one of those "we've been through some stuff, and it might get tougher" talks. I dont know who was needing the talk more, but they both had on their solemn faces at times. With this being in the Legends episode of the cross over, which is the final part of it, could they be talking about something specific that happened during Crisis? Someone they lost? Someone they both have a strong connection to? Or, is it just a "we need to figure out how to win this, it seems so hard" talk? As their conversation was winding down (it really was a loooooooong talking scene) something startles the two super heroes, and they turn around and attack whatever it is.... but soon they settle down, and start talking to the mystery person. The ONLY part of the conversation I could make out was Sara saying "yeah John, you're a little late, already happened". What was John late for? Better question really is, which John? Constantine? Diggle? Jonnz? Travolta? The sides being read out by the other character were done by a crew member as the actor in that spot was not actually there, and the actors on set needed verbal cues to let them know when to deliver their lines. As you will see in the 1 shot, there was a large massive lighting balloon in the air that was coloured light blue. I joked at the time to those on the set that it was going to be Beebo. But really, it is just there to light the scene a specific way.... but will the blue lighting tone they were going for mean something specific? Why would they not just go with the natural tone of the area? After the pair did their scenes, Grant wrapped for the night, and they did a quick 5-8 minutes of getting solo Sara talking scenes before wrapping all together for the night.
