May Madness V - Round 2 TV Character and TV Show results

Round 2 of May Madness was completed a few days ago. Voting on Round 4 (the elite 8) is currently under way.

The Round 2 results for Favorite TV Character were so similar to the 1st round results I didnt even have to re-write the 1st couple lines of this write up. Round 2 results included a few obvious winners, and definitely a couple upsets to me, and frankly, I'll say to the majority of the internet. One inter-show match results shocked me so much, I went over the details of the votes TWICE because I still didnt believe the results the first time thru. Last years winner, Samantha Groves/Root "Person of Interest" advances again, whileone of the #1 seeds, Richard Castle "Castle" falls to... hi TV daughter (previous stated inter-show match up I couldnt believe).  

Only 1 of the #1 seeds failed to advance to the second round. The higher ranked seeds went 9-7.

Sherlock Holmes "Sherlock" with 289 votes had the most in round 1. Oddly Sherlock Holmes "Elementary" had the most in round one. Bran Stark "Game Of Thrones" with 8 had the lowest vote total this round.

Round 2 results for Favorite TV Show had some results you would expect. Just like the Character side, and just like the characters side.... it had some notable upsets. The recently canceled Galavant bumped off themost crowned comedy program on our site The Big Bang Theory to advance to the sweet 16. Meanwhile two 16 seeds Agent Carter and Luther are in the 2rd round 

The only #1 seed left, Person Of Interest, advanced to the 3rd round. The higher ranked seeds went 9-7 this round.
Forever with 632 votes had the most in round 1, they mbeat The Librarians, which had  the 1st round highest vote total honours. The Goldbergs had the lowest vote total this round with 35.
