Some pics of the Secret Circle cast roaming the streets of Vancouver - Gale Harold, Brittany Robertson and Shelley Hennig
I havent done a blog on the new CW show The Secret Circle in a bit, because mostly...I just didnt have a lot of new pics of them, then there was a lot happening from a couple other local shows that cornered the market on my time.
But dont fear you witch lovers. I havent forgot about you. Below is some pics from a few different days that are now weeks in the past that I didnt think were enough for single blogs at that time, so I was saving them up for a larger blog like this.
There is first off a set of Gale Harold trying to go in the back door of his hotel....only to find out his key didnt work. Just prior to this frustration he seemed to be having bad luck with his parking meter as well...so it was a rough 10 mins for Mr. Harold, who is usually at best "tolerant" of fans or pros, so this probably didnt put him in the best mood for the upcoming moments. I didnt get any pics of him from the front coming away from the hotel, because frankly, hes a little testy at times when he sees a camera pointed at him, and I opted instead to get an autograph...which he signed, after a less than enthused interaction with me over it. After signing it, I asked him how filming has been, he said good, seemed to cheer up for a few seconds.... until another autograph hound approached him, which he replied with a swift & pre-emptive "dont" and kept walking. Generally I wouldnt even bother posting this set, but I have seen how rabid Gale fans are for pics... a
The 2nd set was from a day when a large chunk of TSC cast went to a movie together. Its been so long I forgot what movie it was. This was actually from before the back of the hotel set....just the order they were saved made them come up next. Aaanyways, this particular day was the 1st I had seen of Mr. Harold in quite a long time.... infact, with the exception of a couple quick sneak ins from the other side of the hotel, I had not yet had the chance to actually get within 40 feet of him.
He left to go to the movie with co-star Brittany Robertson, who is always a charmer and probably made Gale feel he had to be a little less dissatisfied with us than usual. He begrudgingly signed 2 autographs...while walking, before getting to the theatre with Britt, only to walk away from her. We only have assumptions on why he did it...basically, he didnt want it to come across as them out on a date together since they left & went there together....despite the fact several other cast went there that evening too.
The next set is of Britt arriving at the hotel shortly before that same movie theatre walk. She chatted with us a few mins about a variety of topics, including hopw much she was digging the new promo shots we were getting her to sign, the frozen yogurt she was eating and her love of the NY Mets.
The last set is of Shelley Hennig. This was the 1st time any of us had a chance to get the former Miss Teen USA pagaent winning model turned actress. She turned out to be delightful and pleasant...even after a tirning trip. She tld us she hoped we would love the show, signed everything we had, and was on her way.
Over the next 2+ weeks, I will be off in Toronto for the Film Festival there, so I wont have any new TSC pics of tidbits to pass along till then... so hopefully this holds some of you over till then.
The cast of the new CW show The Secret Circle head to and return from 2011 San Diego Comic Con
The majority of the primary cast from the CW rookie show "The Secret Circle" went down to the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.
In total, Brittany Robertson, Thomas Dekker, Natasha Henstridge, Phoebe Tonkin and Adam Harrington went to the event that has become a major promotion tool for TV & movies alike.
Going to SDCC
First 1 to roll in for any production was Phoebe Tonkin. It was early, and we were, understandably tired as some of us had little or no sleep, so we all played the "I think thats..." game & unsure if it was, went inside after her. One of the hounds said from a distance "hey Phoebe' & when she turned around, we knew it was her, but she was already in the queue to check in. So we waited till she was done and asked her to sign as she was getting towards the gate to go thru to her flight. She joked that she was happy that she wasnt hearing things, as she responded to our earlier distant call out for her attention that was not followed up with anything. She told us how she was super tired after a long night of work, then to get straight on to a flight. She didnt complaina bout it, or try to find (what would have been a very valid excuse) an excuse to not stop for us, she did it and was perfectly fine doing so.
Shortly after Thomas Dekker arrived. He looked even more tired than Phoebe did. But, like his co-star, Dekker stopped signed and chatted a bit with us. He looked pretty sleepy, so we didnt hold him up for too long. Just let him get on his way after a few autographs.
A little while later, Natasha Henstridge came in. She looked to be in a rush, so we gave her a chance to stop & fill out her customs form before we approached, and then she took the time to sign everything we had and chatted a bit. When asked for a photo with, she kinda gave the "I'd rather not" look, but said ok, her reasoning was she had just woken up & had no make up on...but she was willing to do it...only for the batteries to die on my camera, which she responded with a small fist pump and a "yes". Still overall, pleasant & friendly.
The next morning, Britt Robertson came thru quite early. Like the day befores castmates, she seemed tired & legitimately so, having come straight from work to the airport. When 1 of the hounds said he was shocked they didnt get the day off considering they have the event later that day, she replied with a loud "Ha" as if to say "yeah right". Essentially she was saying that, but it was more of a "the production cant really afford a day off" with it being a new show & still unproven, giving the stars a day off isnt really in the cards yet. She talked about how she wasnt always too excited with photos she had from her previous show Life Unexpected, saying she just didnt think they looked good. But her shots for TSC she seemed quite enthusiastic for. After a couple mins of chatting, she went on her way.
I also saw Adam harrington leave, but had very little chance to interact with him as I had nothing for him to sign and neither did anyone else. Snapped a couple quick pics, but thats all there was time for really.
Upon their return. We saw Phoebe, Thomas and Natasha again. Each of them willingly signed again for those who asked. We were told Britt wasnt coming right back, and no sign of Adam.
Autographs of the cast will soon be for sale on the site. Any candid photos you would like for your site untagged & in HQ, or personal collection, can be purchased now. Prices shown in the "candid photos" link on the left side of the screen.

Cast of The new CW TV show The Secret Circle have started to arrive in Vancouver
The cast for the CW witch drama "The Secret Circle" have started to descend on Vancouver to start filming episodes for season 1.
Yesterday Phoebe Tonkin (Faye Chamberlain) and Thomas Dekker (Adam Conant) arrived to awaiting fans & autograph hounds alike. Even despite Dekker being stuck in customs for over 2 hours, the castmates both were in great spirits & truly seemed excited to be starting the project. phoebe even went as far as to respond on twitter telling me & another local autograph hound that it was lovely to meet us... You dont get THAT from a lot of celebs these days.
The pilot was done here a few months ago, and that is when I first met Thomas Dekker. Included in this blog is a few pics from that day as well when I met him out for a walk on the town, and later that same night at a wrap party for the TV show Smallville which he was invited to by CW execs.
I also added a few of Brittany Robertson (Cassie Blake) from her days on Life Unexpected.
Other cast such as Gale Harold (Charles Meade), Natasha Henstridge (Dawn Chamberlain) Ashley Crow (Jane Blake), Adam Harrington (Ethan Conant) & Emily Holmes (Amelia Blake) have yet to be seen in town yet. While Shelley Hennig (Diana Meade) was spotted Saturday out for a walk with a friend.
The show starts filming July, 19th. The show will be at Comic-Con later this month as well to promote the project.
I occasionally argue with inanimate objects, but I usually win. So its all good.
