Seems like forever ago. It has been so long since my last Twilight cast themed blog I actually had to look it up. June 26th, 2011. Seems longer than that. To be honest, when they were here last time there was such a lack of interest... I really was certain the fad was dead & buried. Seems however, the fad isnt completely buried yet. The 150 new twitter followers I gained in 24 hrs upon relaying the info that they were back here in Vancouver to do Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn II re-shoots can attest to that. The cast of the most successful movie franchise in Vancouver's history returned for another short re-shoot this week. It appears there are 4 main cast members rolling around the Lower Mainland for this re-shoot. Robert Pattinson is back to be Edward Cullen for 4 more days. His arrival was marked by about 10 or so people waiting for him. He speedwalked thru the calm & casual crowd of professional paps, autograph hounds & a couple casual fans to his waiting SUV while his over enthusiastic bodyguard Dean cleared a path for him. The Rob that most of us came to know back during New Moon who was casual, laid back & generally willing to stop and interact if you were that close to him is long gone of course, and now a zipping jaunt past the crowd is all you can expect when he is on Summits watch. If you manage to find him out and about, results usually are better, but as long as Summit is pulling his chain, he puts on this miserable fan-unfriendly demeanour. About an hour later, his girlfriend rolled thru with Michael Sheen. Kristen Stewart returns to be Bella, and nothing has changed with her. The generally miserable and anti-social anti-hero did her typical scurry thru the dozen or so people waiting. Like Rob, her attitude actually has become worse since the days of New Moon. Her demeanour went from "terrible" to "not bad" during New Moon, but then she left for a few months to do a Joan Jet movie, and returned as the most miserable person on the planet, and shes never goShe too got into an SUV and was soon off to her lovenest to meet up with the man who she hooked up with in the very hotel their romance seemingly started in. Michael Sheen (who I did see breifly, but did not have a chance to get any pics) arrived with KStew to resurrect his role of Aro. He DID stop & signed for those who opted to go over & wait for him in the terminal while Kristen snuck out a side door. Later in the night (actually early Monday) Ashley Greene would return to be Alice Cullen 1 last time. Ms. Greene was turning into a bit of a anti-social grump when she was here for the original Breaking Dawn shoot. Like Robert, she started off her time in Vancouver, pleasant and approachable, but soured during her long breaks in L.A. However, seems a few months away from the limelight has eased her ego some, as she was pleasant, willing to sign autographs again & all smiles on her return. Obviously, not being a fan of the movies, I am eagerly anticipating the day this franchise is done here. We have NEVER had a movie (let alone a group of them) here that has been so miserable, anti-fan, anti-interactive and all around hostile. Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn II re-shoots are scheduled from pril 30th to May 3rd. So any sightings of the stars are likely to be few, if any. A short little video I never posted before because there was so much controvery over "what happened" that night at the time. I have a couple others, but this was the only one where a plethora of expletives in the background isnt overheard...soooo... this is the one I picked to post. Hardly epic stuff... just Rob & Kristenw aiting for an elevator... but, just thought I should post a little warm up stuff for the impending return of the tween/20s demographics super-couple. With Breaking Dawn returning here imminently, the hype around these two in Vancouver will heat up again, but, of course, it will never be anywhere near the level that it was at during Eclipse. Like the lead slasher in all the successful horror movie empires, just when you thought they were gone for good....they come back unexpectedly.
The "big 3" of Twilight fame, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson have re-shoots to do in Vancouver this week for the June 30th release date movie, Twilight Saga Eclipse. Tonight was the official return of the castmates who refuse to leave our city it seems. I thought I may never see them again as there were rumours the 4th film in this saga was rumoured to be heading to Portland, then I heard its coming here & thought "well, I guess the crazy picks up again later this fall"...but nooooo, they had to come back NOW. So, today I went out to YVR to await the arrival of Taylor Lautner & Kristen Stewart who were scheduled to arrive from LAX in the alte afternoon/early evening. As predicted a throng of fans, paps & other hounds were out there, Pretty much all the regulars were out in force. With both cast members having pulled magic tricks getting in & out of the terminal in the past, the posse was actually actively keeping all potential spots they could vacate relatively covered. With no less than 3 possible escape routes on 3 different levels of an airport wing that is probably 2+ football fields long. The task of covering off all potential routes was actually a bit of a challenge. The vehicles cleverly parked away from the arrivals area on an upper level and waited till they were needed. Eventually John, the "manager" (or as some angrily tweeted to me"assistant") of Kristen came out with a couple others & loaded up the SUVs. Then left....with out Taylor or Kristen. Everyone instantly went into WTF mode & scrambled to come up with ideas on where they are, where the vehicles might be going & again, the crowd had dispersed around the terminal. About 20 minutes later, and after 2 or 3 moments of "where did they go", the 2 SUVS rolled back in, to the arrivals door. Within seconds Taylor & Kristen came out, with handlers holding umbrellas to try & cover them from photos. I was unfortunately covering off the furthest possible spot from where this happened. I got there JUST in time to see the group of fans & paps starting to disperse as the 2 stars were clearly inside their vehicles. I went & grabbed a ride with 1 of the photogs & we made the trip into the downtown core. Unsure if the cast wound change hotels or not, we did a well played follow that eventually lead us to their current hideaway. As we watched Kristens vehicle go into the secured parking area, the group of 6 or 8 hounds & paps & 2 fans that kept up, saw Taylor roll by moments later. It was then a waiting game for Rob. Within an hour we saw John & another security type guy go for a walk. It was probably 2 more hours of nothingness, when we saw a bodyguard that we remembered from the last Eclipse shoot who followed Rob around like he thought he was supposed to be part of him. That was all we needed to see to know they had managed to get RPatts by us somehow, or before we got there. We fruitlessly waited it out for about another hour or so before we gave in & decided this evening was not going to produce much more results & packed it in. So, not much to report from the 1st day of Eclipse re-shoots. Obviously by now, you have all seen the Rob & Kristen argument vid. If you have not, then I dont know how or why you came to find my blog.
The night starts further back. It starts back at like 7 PM when 3 or 4 hounds & paps were waiting at the residence with myself. At that time we were considering going to check out a red carpet event for the VIFF that apparently Jodelle Ferland & Daniel Curmore were scheduled to attend. This was the plan for a couple hours, infact it was the plan right up until I was ready to leave when things changed. Before we were about to leave I went for a short bathroom break. While doing so I got a call telling me Sam Bradley, Robs good friend was playing a short set at a fashion show, and that this was going to happen in less than 20 mins. I got back to where I was & was simply going to tell my friends "I gotta go" since theres an understanding that sometimes, no matter how good of friends you are, you cant share certain info if its someone elses. Ironically this would bite me in the butt again a bit later. So guess turnabout is fair play. Before I had a chance to leave I found out they too had the info. So with the cat out of the bag, we all left for this event. When we got there we found out the event was small & frankly, not a Rob type of environment. But, we sat on it incase. Afterall, this was Sams last night in town before he started a large 2 month tour. & we suspected Rob was going to see him at some point. The show ended & Sam left with his gf. No Rob. We then decided at that time to see if we could generate any leads & left the scene. Shortly after, I got a text from one of the various fans that ask ME for info usually. In it she asked if I had heard anything of the cast being in Kits. I had not & phoned her back to hear if she had more info on it. But got no reply. So I decided it wasnt overly worth pursing yet since thats a large area to cover & with no exact lead, not enough to go on. We decided to break into 2 units out of the group I was with at the time. We scoured the Gastown & Yaletown areas & some of the other notable hotspots. We were still empty & my friend decided to take a chance & check out the Kits lead. We scoured the area. Ironically, we didnt plass the 2-4 block stretch where they would be. After deciding there was nothing to go on immediately, we sat down & grabbed a bite to eat when we got a call from the other car "hey, have you heard of a place called Pinkys" he asked. The guy I was with, living near there had & we headed out for it immediately. Upon arriving I saw all the familiar faces there. Including someone who I had tried calling a couple times to see if he knew something, only to get his answering machine (remember the whole turnabout fair play thing.?). It was definitely the place. The place, Pinkys Steakhouse. We didnt have long to wait as we were some of the last people to show up for the event. Shortly afterwards Sam & a female were leaving. Got to admire Sam. Super class act. Even though he KNOWS why everyone is there, he still treats everyone with respect. Lots of friends of major celebs would scowl & look down at you. He truly is a great guy & its for this reasoN I actually hope he succeeds. Because he deserves it. We had a short chat about his tour & going overseas & he was excited to be going. Then he gave one final nod & left in a cab. Not too much longer after, John came out. Again, breif chat. He said their night was going well, chit chatted about the weather breifly, then it was time. The cab arrived & Rob would lead the charge. I had a great position & if I would just get it thru my head that situations like this are likely to generate little ot no autograph possibilities, maybe I would eventually clue in & just photograph or videotape. But I went for an autograph again. It wasnt going to happen. They beelined for the cab. Rob, Kristen & random woman who I have seen various people ID as Stephanie Ritz, but I myself cant confirm this, since I dont know what she looks like. The cab was leaving & the parade of vehicles were in pursuit. My driver was the lead car & had them from the word go till the final destination. On the drive there Kristen was repeatedly checking to see who was following. I've never seen her act so off about this. My friend even said during the drive "shes never like this". It was odd. Eventually we arrived at the hotel. We pulled over hastily & got out. No less than 4 people follwed up onto the property. Myself & my driver were a bit back & breifly caught them going in, while the other driver followed them right in. I'm not going to get into a 10 paragraph debate on right vs wrong of the situation. He even admits he hated doing it, so the level of unacceptable has certainly been set. My driver & myself went no closer than the doors, while he went right in & videotaped them waiting to get ont he elevator & of course, having the breif argument. The argument. Its why some of you are reading this. So here it is. It had nothing to do with the two random people that were there around the same time. Frankly, no idea what they were doing there. 1 of them gets in with R&K, so I dont even know if they were together, since the other one appears to leave. Quite weird & random & more importantly, irrelevant to the discussion. What you hear Rob say is "I'm sorry I paused.." This was undeniable. Oddly, I dont think I saw a single person say that in all the replies I saw places about the vid. Probably because people wanted it to mean more, or because arguing about pausing seems odd. Kristen replies "Can we just wait..". the second part there was disagreemnt over. " & do this in the elevator please?" or "till these people are on the elevator please?" I'm convinced it was the first, one of my friends thought it was the latter. In either case, kristen is basically saying in her own way "not right now Rob, people are here". It took awhile to figure it out, because we didnt get what they were talking about. What was he apologizing for? Perhaps we are wrong is our assumptions about the arguing point, but the dialogue was clear. Our assumption (all assumption at this point) is Kristen was annoyed at missing an elevator because she did her best Usain Bolt impersonation, while Rob casually looked to saunter at first, then realized he was supposed to be running. Seems silly by itself, but you can see Kristen was apparently in a bad mood & this annoyed her. When I posted that I called it "interesting material" people jumped to all sorts of conclusions. It is interesting, because you never see them publicly aruging like this. Personally, I was uncomfortable with seeing it because it was too personal of a moment. The videographer as well was unsure what to do. But he opted to sell it, as reality is, money is money. I can tell you he certainly does feel bad about it & I know many of you will debate how he can feel bad if it he did it blah blah blah etc. But people do things everyday they might not be happy about, have a choice NOT to do it, but still do....including most of you. The video will likely be spun by everyone to fit their needs. People who are pro-Robsten will say how its proof they are together because only people dating would argue over such a small thing. People anti-Robsten will say its just two friends having an argument. People against paps will point how this is an invasion of privacy. People who hate Kristen will say its proof shes a bitch. People who hate Rob will say how hes a pussy for letting Kristen walk all over him, blah blah blah. Stark reality is, NO ONE but Rob and Kristen...and maybe the other person that was with them in the cab, knows what the entire dispute was. Did we literally just hear 2 lines of a 10 min argument? Or was it literally a 5 second letting off of steam & forgotten by them? More importantly, who cares? I'm only discussing it because I was there & saw the vid before it was released & we debated over whether it should be put out or not. Otherwise my blog would have ended 4 or 5 paragraphs ago. Its not like they were arguing about a drug deal or where they hid a body. It was about "pausing". Seems really pointless, and if it were not for the over-analytical fanbase of this couple, it would be NOTHING. But because so many fans live vicariously thru "Edward & Bella" this matters to them...and because of that, this video is out there. Gossip cop & whoever else runs it are even MORE to blame. They bought it. They paid money for the material. Sorry this wasnt posted sooner, but I really didnt think there was anything profound in it worth rushing to get it up. Its a few seconds ro Rob leaving in the cab at the Backstage Lounge show where Bobby Long was performing last week. Early on you hear the now infamous "Kristen you're a bitch" comment. Hearing it from where I was standing NOW, I have no doubt Kristen might have heard it as well. I was on the opposite side right near the drivers window & you can hear it quite clearly on my audio. Anyways, nothing overly amazing about the vid outside of that & the breif blips of Rob you see when he was lit up. But I know you all wanted to see some Rob...so here it is. So since the KStew fiasco I have been bombarded with hate & fan mail on here, twitter, imdb and even other sites I didnt know that fans had contact of me on.
The fans, I get. Clearly they understand what I say & actually follow logic. The haters. I clearly dont get. Not because they shouldnt hate me. Some of them have reasons to hate me because they dont like my profession or whatever. What I dont get is, how they misread things that are so blatantly obvious, think they can make me upset or mad by making all sorts of erroneous claims on twitter or here, the biggest though is they will lie for others...Namely a pap. Interesting. Hate me because of MY profession, but happily endorse a guy who has been arrested on multiple occasions for invading the privacy of celebs at work (unlike ME). Who employs a person that was recently caught urinating in a public park (unlike ME), and who is now infamously connected thru the actions of his GF calling Kristen Stewart a bitch. This is JUST the tip of the iceberg really. This is who you are willing to endorse & lie for? Wow. A certain locals blog was directed to me. In there, the user said (paraphrasing as to not steal word for word their inaccurate ramblings.) several things that are inaccurate & are without question, puppet like propaganda of the earlier discussed photog. She called me a moron. I guess if you are comparing me to a group of mensa members, perhaps I am? Compared to the general public, inaccurate. But thats a petty thing to argue over when you see the follow up insanity. -She claims I concocted the IDing of PUNKD Images photographers girlfriend was the one who made the claim. Incorrect. I just posted the info I was given. I took the original tweet IDing who it was & IDed PI as the company responsible for it, which they clearly were.. After the photog whose gf did it asked me to, I removed the tweet IDing the company. I did it....on the basis his boss quit talking about me on twitter...which he refused to do.... SO, I publicly stated it again. I was willing to NOT get into the politics of what they did & just play dumb. But the boss at PI opted to instead post to my request to drop all this... "Go Fuck yourself Moron.. RT @canadagraphs: took down the tweets and you said you would stop..9:43 AM Sep 8th from TweetDeck " Was his reply to a DM that was sent to him telling him I had talked with his pap, and we agreed I would remove the post IDing the company that did it, if he stopped tweeting about me. The pap told me he had his bosses word on it. So I took the tweet down. When he posted that, I decided the agreement was null. -In what is sure to cause more confusion & to avoid outing anyone by name... she clearly overheard a conversation she didnt clearly understand & moreso, mistook peoples roles in the convo & more importantly, outright mistook people in it. She claims I named two people as the people who called KStew a bitch... ironically, 1 of those people was the first one to tell me who did it, the second has the same name as the person responsible...but isnt the same person as the one she claims I said said it. She clearly only heard "names" & reference to the "bitch incident" & ran with it. Way to get your facts straight before publicly posting it. - She then claims we decided to change it from the two people to PI to fit our needs. What she heard, was obviously us verifying that the person responsible was infact the gf of the PI photographer....who as I stated has the same name as the 2nd girl. The ID of the girl was outed LONG before I ever tweeted it. Like I said, I just verified who she was associated with. To top it off, the photographer in question bragged about the comment on his twitter (locked profile) & openly explained to me via phone calls why it was done. He doesnt deny his gf did it. He actually seems proud of it. So, really she didnt get too much right outside the fact that two (I actually believe it was 3 of us) were out there talking about the event. All she did was used vague details to sell an agenda for another person. Whether she got paid to be a cheerleader or not is a different story. For her sake, hope she did...or she ruined her reputation for nothing. If she wrote that part in the blog JUST to find a reason to belittle me because she doesnt like me, thats even funnier. Again, putting your reputation on the line for petty reasons often backfires. My suggestion...in the future, on something where you are going to criticize someone publicly, KNOW your facts before you post them. Dont ever assume. its fine to assume some things. Size of a crowd, order of people you chit chatted with (long as its not relevant to a detail) & such. But a conversation you werent involved in, really...best to avoid it...or else risk looking foolish. ALSO.... The person who DID do it is also not the heavier set girl with the wine glasses that the lynch mob seems determined to hunt down....so really, quit it. The girl who did do it is considerably skinnier, wears glasses, had her hair tighter & was wearing RED...not white.....as anyone who was there can tell you. Will I need to blog about this again??? The stupidity around it is overwhelming. To the best of my knowledge, multiple people have outed the girl who DID do it. One even says the cast & staff are now aware. Nothing outside of me IDing the company responsible was my doing.... Whether PIs boss wants to believe it or not...or his puppet, is another story. Yesterday was a long & ridiculously stupid day where a local photographer (after I shockingly defended him earlier in the day on twitter) chose to drag ME and others names thru the mud...while KStew got called a bitch by an associate of one of his workers. Of course if you are in the twitter world you know already about Kristen Stewart getting called a bitch by a female outside the venue. But that aside, yesterday had other things worth blogging about. The day started for me doing a run thru the downtown core. When I got there, I found nothing happening anywhere. So I went to the airport for the much publicized Peter Facinelli flight. On his flight was also Ashley Greene. They arrived to a moderate amount of paps & autograph hounds. I managed to get 2 Facinellis, but Ashley declined requests, which was understandable as her hands were full with her dog carrier. After following them back downtown, TO A NEW LOCATION. My friend & I were quite taken aback to see they no longer were staying where the rest of the cast were. For a week or so its been assumed but not proven, that some cast had moved out. Yesterday I saw for myself this seems to be true. From there we did a tour of the area, before heading out to the Bobby Long show. By the time we showed up, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed & Paris Latsis had shown up to the show. I had tweeted that Jackson was there. Based on info I was given, it turned out to be incorrect. Just those 5 seemed to be there. When the show ended the staff of the Backstage Lounge went in& out all the exists to try & shuttle the cast out of. In the end they picked a door & the cast speed walked out. But didnt try hiding. Robert & Kristen came out first, with Kristens manager. They got in the back cab...which was a mistake, as they were boxed in by the front cab which was going to take Nikki, Paris & Elizabeth. They sat there for what seemed like an eternity, before finally being able to get away. Rob did not try too hard to hide himself for once. Instead, he took to just leaning on his hands & had this sad look on his face that actually can make you feel sorry for him, despite the fact he has a life 99% of the people would trade for. I found it funny the cabby seems to have a similar look....or maybe he was watching the metre thinking "I hope we never get going" lol. I didnt even notice till after the fact that Kristen was in the first pic I took. Both Rob & her were wearing baseball caps. A change from the hoodie wearing days they seem to usually have. Too bad that damn truck was in the way though. The evening had little in the way of big moments, but it was an event that Rob & Kristen were at none the less.   |
About meI occasionally argue with inanimate objects, but I usually win. So its all good. Archives
