Last night I caught Arrow out and about in East Vancouver on a rare out of the downtown location for me to check out. With the sad announcement recently that Arrow is ending next season, and the all too rare chances to see Arrow on location in the past couple years since they have built up their studio sets so much. I felt I should take the chance and check it out.

Below are photos & video (video will be up at a later date) of the scene being shot.

There was not a lot going on in the scenes I saw. The first scene MIGHT have included cast, but if they were there, they were so deeply tucked in to the area the camera was aiming that you could not see them. It mostly seemed to consist of Star City Emergency personnel handling some type of situation at the Star City Metro (after the 100s of times our skytrain has gone by in the background of their scenes, they finally acknowledge they have their own service) as onlookers and media waited to see what happened.

A bit later, they did a scene where The Vigilante Task Force, also known as Team Arrow shows up and goes inside the Metro building. Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, David Ramsey as John Diggle/ Spartan, Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake/ Black Canary and Rick Gonzalez as Rene Ramirez/ Wild Dog were all there in their full costumes. As well Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak was along with the gang on this adventure.

But at you surely noticed in the intro photo above, there was ONE MORE costumed hero.... Colton Haynes, as Roy Harper/ Arsenal was with the team. Everyone has been waiting for his return to the present day scenes, and now we have confirmation he will  be back eventually in present day. The question now is..... where is Thea?

Also, snagged a couple quick pics for the Olicity fans out there of Stephen and Emily talking between scenes.

Arrow shot scenes for their 7th episode of season 6 in downtown Vancouver at the former Canada Post sorting facility. The structure, which closed as a postal outlet a year or so ago, has been primarily a secondary studio for a variety of television shows since then, including the likes of all the DC CW Arrowverse shows, and several others. While the structure is used mainly for interior scenes because of its large spacious design and ability to house all the equipment trucks a production needs, some productions, including on this day, Arrow, use its exterior.

On this particular day, Arrow used it as a Star City Police Headquarters (guess after the last one went boom in the season premiere last night they needed a new one). On hand for a Thanksgiving related food drive were Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake, Jack Moore as William Clayton and Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance... just a few days later, Paul did a charity swim with sharks to raise awareness for them.

A few scenes were shot there, including 1 where Felicity was talking to a mystery woman that seemed to be a reporter. While that was going on, there also seemed to be a scene going on with Oliver & Quentin down in the middle of the tented up food drive area.

A bit later a scene was shot with Felicity and Oliver arriving, meeting up, talking to William, before being interrupted by Quentin to join them elsewhere. Another scene after that saw Oliver, William and Felicity standing on a podium where Oliver made a very short speech before leaving.

They proceeded to shoot for a bit longer after that, but with a plethora of shots already of the scene, I opted to leave.

Today was the day that the worst kept secret in the Arrowverse happened. Of course, depending how you feel about particular ships in the Arrowverse, this was joyous, or the death of the franchise in your mind.

A duo wedding took place today. Yes, a DUO WEDDING.

With the crossover episodes almost done filming, the cast of The Flash and Arrow found themselves shooting a scene on LOT today with no LOT cast in the scenes. The scene consisted of The Flash cast Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and Candice Patton as Iris West, along with Arrow cast members Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak and David Ramsey as John Diggle shooting a scene in downtown Stanley Park for the much hyped double wedding between the commonly shipped duos West Allen & Olicity.

While The Flash characters looked dressed for the occasion, it was pretty clear Oliver and Felicitys wedding plans were pretty spur of the moment, as they were both dressed in casual clothes.

The ceremonies were officiated by John Diggle. For reasons that I am sure the storylines will eventually explain, neither of the couples friends or family were in attendance. The couples instead, acted as each others witnesses. The scene starts with Diggle appearing, clearly after Barry speeds him  there. Diggle freaks out, then goes and vomits, before coming back to the two couples, and after a brief talk, starts the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, the two couples kiss, then the scene ends.

While many fans on both sides are outraged that their couple had to share their moment with the other, many others were just as overjoyed to know their couple of choice at least finally were married.

Earlier in the day scenes were shot with Oliver, Felicity, Barry & Iris along with characters from Legends Of Tomorrow and Supergirl. I will have a blog on that shoot at a later date.... but for now.... enjoy shippers.

So, as promised. When this blog post with the photo of Olicity kissing hit 15,000 views (took you 7 days, I predicted 3.... guess you didn't want this as bad as you say you did), I'd post video of the scene. A scene by the ways that a certain faction of the internet have been quick to jump to conclusions about (especially after the near slip up in episode 404 when Thea asks felicity why she isn't wearing "it"). Surprise Surprise they were not wrong

In a scene shot in front of a variety of other cast including Paul Blackthorne, Katie Cassidy and Charlotte Ross (I believe David Ramsey and Willa Holland as well, but I never actually saw them there... but heard them referenced to being there by crew) Oliver Queen (played by Stephen Amell) proposes to his Team Arrow techie/girlfriend Felicity Smoak (played by Emily Bett Rickards) in front of a bunch of supporters of Oliver at a Mayoral Candidate rally. After this scene, they shot a scene of the couple leaving and getting into a limo.

The crew tried keeping the public much further back than most Arrow shoots. This is a show that's usually been quite accepting of fans watching their shoots, but on this night they took extra precautions, including buying up the entire city park so that no one, including the dozens of locals who walk their dogs thru their daily could even go thru and had no less than 6 Vancouver Police there to enforce it. So, my only vantage point of this scene was from about 200 yards away. The video is a bit grainy (ok, a lot grainy), dark and obviously will look much better on TV as a finished product. But here it is... the first look at The Proposal.

Despite the fact that I have been quite public about how the Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak "ship" known as "Olicity" is ruining Arrow, I know at least a few of you who still haven't angrily vilified follow my blog posts.

So, tonight there was a scene shot. A couple kiss in the scene in front of a crowd of supporters at a rally.

Now due to where they filmed the scene, and the lighting and the time of night... photos from it are well.... shitty. It was about 200 yards away (imagine 2 consecutive football fields) in the dark, and with my $500 camera. Soooo, yeah, of course they are fuzzy. But hey, I was the only blogger that bothered to stick around and photograph this for you all. So your welcome?

There will be a more detailed post on the entire days filming when I have more time. But for now, an Olicity shot (albeit pretty grainy) for now of their kissing scene tonight.

As I told you in my blog on Saturday, Arrow has begun filming for season 3 in Vancouver.

The 1st public day of filming had a few things. One thing it had was a lot of trailers. No less than 9 cast trailers were on set for the shoot, and I have only managed to account for 6 of them... so was there someone from a morning shoot that everyone missed? Or even LATER in the late night Fraturday shoot (that there will be a blog on later this week) that I missed? Guess I will have to wait to see. So heres a quick peek at who I saw trailers there for.

As well, a guest star? He was escorted by an AD, had a transportation vehicle waiting. So he wasn't just any background extra. An escapee from iron Heights?

Of course, 95% of you didn't come here to look at pics of trailers or a guest star. I'm not a fool.

So, onto the main topic of the post. Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak, out, together...maybe on a date? Those of you who have read the synopsis for the season premiere already know that Oliver asks, or intends to ask his lovestruck tech girl out.

The question is... was this him asking her out.. or the actual date?

The scene didn't offer much from an action standpoint as Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards would walk down the stairs together, as Stephen occasionally spoke.


So Olicity fans, here is your temporary fix till October.

I have tagged a couple of the photos off image, or low down on the image for a couple of you who asked for images without the tag. I DO NOT usually do this. I did a couple.. just to see if you guys abuse it or not. If you can be civil & respect the fact that I did it, and NOT REMOVE THE TAGS, I may do it more often for Arrow photos.
