SUPERGIRL - episode 6x16 - Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Katie McGrath & Jesse Rath on set

I caught up with Supergirl filming episode 6x16, titled "Nightmare In National City" directed by Eric Dean Seaton. The cast & crew were back at a place they have used multiple times in the past, George Wainborn Park. Most recently seen in my episode 6x11 set photos HERE and HERE.

On this day, they had Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers / Sentinel, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, and Jesse Rath as Brainiac 5 all out together in the middle of the park doing a scene where the trio of Brainy, Lena and Sentinel are standing together, as Supergirl flies in to join them. They chat briefly before they are interrupted by something. There was then sound effects simulated to them that sounded like something being shot at/near them.  But it also made them seem to be shaken momentarily, before Supergirl turns and flies off, then Sentinel and Brainy race over to a pair of large objects, seemingly trying to hold them up, while Lena plays on a tablet in an attempt to do something.

That was it. They spent an entire filming day on this 1 singular scene. So it better be an important one. I left at lunch, but I heard from others that after lunch had the same scene, but from different angles still, along with some stunts.

I put in a little extra time for you all to sort the gallery a bit, since I know quite a few of you come here for 1 cast member, or another. So I put all their solo photos at the top, and any multi-cast photos below.
