THIS POST CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR "ONCE UPON A TIME" SEASON 7 (either episode 714 or 715). IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS EPISODE YET, AND DO NOT WANT TO SEE OR READ POSSIBLE SPOILERS, DO NOT CONTINUE READING THE ARTICLE BELOW OR VIEWING THE PHOTOS AT THE BOTTOM. . . . last warning . . I caught up with the Once Upon A Time cast and crew in New Westminster just a few days before the Winter break. They were filming in a parking lot across the street from New Westminster Skytrain Station right on 8th street. The scene seemed to show Andrew J West as Henry Mills hastily grabs Rose Reynolds character of Tilly/Alice off a street in Seattle. Henry pulls Tilly/Alice into the lot where Henry and Colin O'Donoghue as Rogers are there talking to her. Not really sure what all happens in the talk, but it seems to be mostly Henry & Tilly/Alice speaking while Rogers seems to be mostly just standing there observing it. Short time later that scene wrapped up, and the production moved on to another location. Once Upon A Time returns to ABC for the back half of the season March 2, 2018. THIS VIDEO IS OF A SCENE FOR THE SEASON 6 (POSSIBLY SERIES) FINALE OF ONCE UPON A TIME "THE LAST BATTLE". If you have not seen this episode and do not want to possibly see any spoilers from it.... do not continue watching or reading the post below till you have. . . . last warning . . . Here is an almost 2 minute video of the cast of Once Upon A time rehearsing a take of a scene where Giles Matthey & Jennifer Morrison eventually get into a sword fight. I was so amused with the how slow and purposeful they went thru each action that I just had to post this. I am sure the final product will go a BIT faster. On hand were Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin that you see at the start of the video, as well as Colin O/'Donoghue in the video, with other cast off screen during the shoot. The Once Upon A Time season (and possibly series?) Finale of Once Upon A Time will have a 2 hour episode this Sunday on ABC in the U.S. and CTV in Canada. If you have not seen this episode and do not want to see or read any potential spoilers prior to viewing the episode, do not continue on with this article & bookmark it to view after. . . . last warning . . . Once Upon A Time shot scenes for their season 6 finale "The Final Battle", and depending how things go, possibly the series finale, in Steveston at the end of March. Much of the main cast was there during the multiple day shoot. The only notable exceptions being Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin. This blog post will focus on the shoot they did on the 29th, which focused on Jennifer Morrison and Jared Gilmore., as well as a scene a bit later that you may have seen my youtube video of, with Colin O'Donoghue and Jennifer Morrison doing a driving scene. There was also a night scene with the majority of the cast, including those named earlier, as well as Lana Parrilla, Rebecca Mader, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas amd Giles Matthey, but there was little to shoot that night (a blog with more info on this shoot will come later). The Once Upon A Time season (and possibly series?) Finale of Once Upon A Time will have a 2 hour episode this Sunday on ABC in the U.S. and CTV in Canada. IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS EPISODE & DO NOT WANT TO SEE OR READ ABOUT ANY SPOILERS.... DO NOT CONTINUE. . . . last warning . . This scene is pretty basic. Emma Swan & Captain Hook (Jennifer Morrison & Colin O'Donoghue) are sitting in Emmas bug, when Hook puts a police light ontop of the bug, and they turn around and drive off together. When I have my stuff more sorted out... I'll do a blog post with photos too.... but for now... here is VIDEO of the scene. THIS POST CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR "ONCE UPON A TIME" EPISODE 620. If you have not seen this episode & want to avoid possible spoilers from it, do not continue reading the article or viewing the photos below . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time was filming in Steveston on Tuesday. For the most part, they filmed scenes for episode 619 which will be posted (Robert, Emilie, Jennifer) HERE and (Lana & Jaime) HERE when they are up. But, as the fans requested in a poll on twitter, the first post I am putting up is for this set from 620 that was also filmed on that day. Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Hook shot a solo scene on Moncton Street in Steveston where he was walking down the street talking on a cell phone as he headed towards Mr. Golds shop for something. The scene wasnt very descriptive, not very long.... although it did tkae them a tad longer to shoot than they probably originally estimated because of the low setting sun which was causing lighting problems off their equipment & tents reflecting into the scene. So they had to take a breif break to move all of that before resuinging again. This gave Colin enough time to go back to the green room holding area they have, maybe have two sips of coffee & then return. On the way to the holding area he gave the fans a wave. Let me also clear up some confusion... I have seen multiple tumblr posts & 1 direct message asking me, or suggesting, I said I heard what he said in the scene. I did not. I think whoever first said this, is mixing up what I posted for this episode 612 blog post with what happened Tuesday afternoon. After filming, Colin spent awhile meeting with fans & taking photo ops. He signed 1 autograph while he was there, for me, after he was done with the photo ops. he then headed off after wrapping his short work day. You can catch Once Upon A Time on Sunday nights on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. If you have not yet seen this episode, and dont want to see or read possible spoilers, do not continue reading or viewing the photos below. . . . last warning . . Let me first off say, before I get into describing this days scenes in this post. I. DO. NOT. WRITE. THE. SHOW. So dont feel compelled to complain to ME if what you read is to your disliking as I know 1 particular subsection of the fandom is going to feel angry, and another overjoyed at what transpired. I am also going to say, dont whine to the writers. They have a vision for the show. If you dont agree with it, you can either quit watching, or watch it later elsewhere and fast forward the parts you hate. In any case, remember.... I dont write it, I dont pick & choose which scenes they opt to film in public, so I have NO CONTROL over the material I covered on this day. Just the last 5-6-7- times I've posted stuff with a particular actor in it, I get attacked by a specific group for "favoring" that actor. I dont pick who shoots what scenes. Once Upon A Time found themselves in their most commonly used location spot, Steveston, for a shoot in early November for scenes for episode 612 "Murder Most Foul" directed by Morgan Beggs. This particular day they shot 3 scenes around the village. Two on their main drag of Moncton Street, another up on the docks. In the early scene we see Joshua Dallas as David/Prince Charming and Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Hook walking through Storybrooke together at a hurried pace. What very few who went to the early shoot GOT to see was the end of the scene where Charming handcuffs Captain Hook to a bike rack. WHY does he do it? Well, thats something you'll have to tune in to the episode to find out, because I certainly couldnt hear the conversation. That scene was a pretty quick shoot, and eventually the pair left the set while the next group of actors came for the middle scene of the day, which I will cover in another blog post that will be linked HERE when it is finally done in a couple days. Once it got dark out, the crew moved to the walkway at the docks of Steveston for a night scene that will have the fandom reacting 1 way or another, depending what your loyalties are to the show. The scene had 3 cast. Josh Dallas again. Colin O'Donoghue again. There was also an actor on set that so far no one has commented on anywhere, so let me be the first to welcome former Medium star David Cubitt to the Once world, as he was portraying the part of Robert Charming, who as I am lead to believe, is a ghost in this scene. The scene starts with the elder Charming & the younger Charming staring over the ledge of the pier, Robert puts his arm on David and says some words to him. Eventually Robert leaves, only moments later to be replaced by Captain Hook. The same Hook that David handcuffed a bit earlier in the day. So what revenge does he have in store for David? Well, none, technically. You see, Hook was there to talk to David about something I can already hear the fandom squeeing &/or gritting their teeth at all at the same time, he asks David if he has his permission to ask Emma to marry him. Yes, you read that right Oncers. But what will Emmas father, and the man who handcuffed him to a bike rack earlier in the day say? Well, he says "Yes, of course", before the pair walk away together. I guess the question now is..... what will Emma say? That I am sure will be done in studio.... especially after this post is posted I am guessing. or maybe they already filmed it before this days shoot since filming is not done in chronological order, so a scene from 1 day could absolutely end up 40 minutes in the episode later than a scene shot 3 days prior. Once Upon A Time airs on Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada & will return for their Spring season March 5, 2016. You can view more Once Upon A Time BTS photos HERE You can see our autographs from Once Upon A Time HERE. THIS BLOG POST IS FOR EPISODE 608 OF "ONCE UPON A TIME". If you have not seen this episode & do not want to read or view possible spoilers to it, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time shot a scene for episode 608 in Richmond not far from their usual "downtown Storybrooke" location in Steveston. In this scene, there was Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen and Lanas stand in as Regina Mills. The scene started with the Evil Queen & Henry talking before Henry walks away. Shortly after Emma and Regina confront the EQ, and Regina holds out a mirror while EQ also holds out a mirror. During 1 of the breaks while they were changing the angles, Lana took her dog Lola for a walk around the beach before stopping on a log and just hanging out with her for a few minutes before she had to get back to work. After this scene wrapped, this did another scene with Colin O'Donoghue & the stand in dressed as Regina. It was SUPPOSED to have Lana there as well dressed as Regina, but the time it took her to get changed out of EQ gear & into Regina gear was going to apparently take too long & they were already behind schedule, so they just had her double do the scene. A bit later I went to Steveston for a bit. I caught a couple takes of David Paul Grove as Doc shooting a scene where he gets into a car & checks himself in a mirror. Shortly after that I called it a day with lots of filming still to happen as I had a long day up to that point already. Once Upon A Time airs Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada.
