If I see you posting most or all the photos, I will have them removed. I caught up with the Once Upon A Time cast and crew in Steveston earlier this month. As I reported in my first blog post on this weeks shoots, I had lost a few photos from those days... but thankfully, not all of them. In this set, we see Rebecca Mader as Zelena interacting with season 7 stars Rose Reynolds and Tiera Skovbye as Alice & Margot in Storybrooke. Why are the two girls from Seattle in Storybrooke? Guess we'll have to wait & see. The scene had the pair come up to Zelena as she was about to get into Reginas car. They then have a lengthy talk (about what? I dont know). During a break, I ran into Rose in the little area that for 7 seasons I obtained a LOT of autographs from, the side of Grannys Diner where the show would pick up & drop off cast over the years. After having failed on no less than 3 previous attempts to get Rose for various reasons, the security team told her I was over there, and she walked over with Tiera and introduced herself and signed my items for me. Tiera then stood there waiting to sign for me, and I had to tell her that I didnt have my items for her, because she does doubler duty in this town and I still had her in my other shows folder for Riverdale. Tiera then told me "shes going to hold this over me forever" as she looked at Rose before the pair left to go back to set. This wouldnt be my last autograph at the Once Upon A Time set, but it was the last cast member I would get for the first time. After filming the scenes, Rose & Tiera went over to meet fans & take photos & sign autographs while Rebecca left to get ready for hers, and the shows final scene in Steveston with the cast of the show ever. I will have a blog post on that in the coming days. Plus video of some of the scenes, including this one.                During one of the takes Lana Parrilla showed up to set. She stayed around for one take, then left back to the trailers to get ready for her own scene later that evening. I could not help but just stare at her jacket. I definitely know I wouldnt be able to pull it off. But the Evil Queen can pretty much get away with whatever she wants. SO MUCH GOLD! I also ran into Emma Swans VW Bug just parked. It was sitting near the productions craft services area. Windows blacked out. That was the closest anyone would get to seeing Emma in Storybrooke that day. Once Upon A Time is airing the final season on ABC right now, every Friday night till the series finale on May 18, 2018. While I will certainly have more blog posts about the filming itself. There was 1 particular thing that couldnt wait any longer. Once Upon A Time mainstay from the Pilot to the Finale, Lana Parrilla came over to see fans before she started her last ever day of filming in Steveston. Lana stood in the middle of Moncton Street (you may know it as "Main Street" in Storybrooke) and spoke to the crowd of about 75-100 people about the time there, and how thankful she was for all of the fans who came out over 7 years of being there. The entire video is below.... and I apologize for the FIFTY/SIXTYSOMETHING YEAR OLD MAN that was RIGHT BESIDE me who thought it was a conversation, and not a speech to listen to. Cant edit out his cat calls without editing out her speech too. Later in the evening, she came back over after her filming had completed, with Rebecca Mader to take photos & sign autographs. Emma Swan & Captain Hook (Jennifer Morrison & Colin O'Donoghue) are sitting in Emmas bug, when Hook puts a police light ontop of the bug, and they turn around and drive off together. Once Upon A Time was back in Steveston on Tuesday filming some scenes for two episodes. Mostly it was for episode 619, but they also did 1 scene for 620 later in the day. They started the day shooting a scene with 3 people. Rebecca Mader (who was out of sight the whole scene.... so I never got a photo of her) Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Jaime Murray as the Black Fairy. The scene seemed to see the pair squaring off in the midddle of the street, sizing each other up. At one point you hear Bex yell "Regina", and in a later scene after the 3 actresses had wrapped, the Black Fairy stunt double did a scene where she is thrown through the air. This is the second blog of this days shoot since it finished 2nd in my twitter vote on which one to do 1st. Once Upon A Time shot 4 scenes in Steveston on Tuesday. One of them for episode 619, directed by BAFTA award winning director Alrick Riley, consisted of 3 cast, with the majority of focus on two... even though it was the other cast member that's going to generate the most buzz probably. This is the 2nd of the 3 blog posts I am doing on this day shooting. The first HERE with Colin O'Donoghue for episode 620, and this one HERE (still not posted, will link when completed) with Lana Parrilla and Jaime Murray for 619. I think I should apologize to Rumbelle fans from the get go, because I know I haven't had anything for them in quite a long time, and finally I get some shots for them and wellllllll, this post is probably going to be upstaged by something. Robert Carlyle & Emilie de Ravin filmed most of this scene outside Mr. Golds. The scene sees Gold come out first, clearly annoyed/angry with something and he makes a waving motion as if hes casting something away. Belle follows outside to confront him & the two have a talk that starts off with them clearly not in a good mood, but eventually the pair calm down, hold hands, before they are interrupted by Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan calling them back inside Golds shop. All three cast seemed in pretty good spirits on the set. Frequently Robert & Emilie were together going over lines in or around the door way of the fake storefront.                                      I feel like there is something else I was supposed to mention. What was that again? I cant seem to put my finger on it. Wait, hold on, I think I am remembeRING. They did several takes of this scene with Emma in it, but for the most part it was a ho hum scene to me. That was till I saw tumblr & twitter chatter after the fact inquiring about Emmas wardrobe change. I then had to go thru all my photos to take a look... For ONE (maybe two?) takes there was a change in the stuff Emma Swan was wearing. It seems her outfit is slightly heavier now.... she was wearing an engagement ring for at least 1 of the takes. Now why she wasnt wearing it for the other takes is probably 1 of a few reasons. Most likely, depending what the camera angles were, it wasnt needed for the earlier takes. Same reason sometimes you see characters wearing their boots for a scene instead of the fancy shoes you might see in the scene when it airs, because for that set of takes, they werent going to be on camera.... so they didnt need to wear them. Probably the case with this ring as well, since earlier takes she definitely didnt have it on. Anyways... heres the only pics I got of it.... had I known of course that this was a thing, I would have tried getting closer up shots. As it is, I took these shots of the 3 actors grouped together, so I had to crop in tighter than I thought I would be when I shot these frames. Eventually Jennifer wrapped her scene. A little while later Robert & Emilie wrapped theirs after shooting the conversation part of the scene a few more times. Robert & Emilie then came over & met with the fans, and spent a substantial amount of time doing so. In fact the next scene, with Colin O'Donoghue had already started doing rehearsals behind them by the time Emilie was done with her part of the meet & greet. Once Upon A Time was filming in Steveston on Tuesday. For the most part, they filmed scenes for episode 619 which will be posted (Robert, Emilie, Jennifer) HERE and (Lana & Jaime) HERE when they are up. But, as the fans requested in a poll on twitter, the first post I am putting up is for this set from 620 that was also filmed on that day. Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Hook shot a solo scene on Moncton Street in Steveston where he was walking down the street talking on a cell phone as he headed towards Mr. Golds shop for something. The scene wasnt very descriptive, not very long.... although it did tkae them a tad longer to shoot than they probably originally estimated because of the low setting sun which was causing lighting problems off their equipment & tents reflecting into the scene. So they had to take a breif break to move all of that before resuinging again. This gave Colin enough time to go back to the green room holding area they have, maybe have two sips of coffee & then return. On the way to the holding area he gave the fans a wave. Let me also clear up some confusion... I have seen multiple tumblr posts & 1 direct message asking me, or suggesting, I said I heard what he said in the scene. I did not. I think whoever first said this, is mixing up what I posted for this episode 612 blog post with what happened Tuesday afternoon. After filming, Colin spent awhile meeting with fans & taking photo ops. He signed 1 autograph while he was there, for me, after he was done with the photo ops. he then headed off after wrapping his short work day. You can see my other behind the scene OUAT blogs from the past HERE and my autograph gallery HERE             Once Upon A Time shoots scenes for episode 612 with Lana Parrilla, Sean Maguire and Will Traval12/14/2016  THIS BLOG POST IS FOR "ONCE UPON A TIME" EPISODE 612. If you have not seen this episode and do not want to see or read about possible spoilers, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . As I stated in my other blog post with that big spoiler, there was also a scene shot on November 11, 2016 with some other cast. Most notably the return of Sean Maguire as Robin Hood (which his return to the show of course, isnt a spoiler since everyone already knows this) to Steveston for a shoot, that also included Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Will Traval as "Keith" (Sheriff Of Nottingham). They first showed up to do a rehearsal for the scene. Sean & Will arrived together, and worked thru their part of the scene, then with Lana arriving awhile later dressed like she was enduring a real Canadian winter day, even though it was about 10-12C out... I cant even imagine how she must be dressing THIS week, with temperatures at night dipping down to -10. After rehearsals, they left to get ready for their shoot. After a lunch break, the cast came back to shoot the scene. They broke it down into various sections, but the scene essentially plays out like this. Keith walks down the street, Robin sees him and shoots an arrow at him. Not sure if it hits Keith, or he catches it, but that doesnt stop Robin who then storms across the street and punches out Keith with 1 punch. Keith goes down and Robin attaks further, eventually getting ontop of him with a knife to his throat, he is about to kill Keith when Regina runs down the street to stop him. She tells him this isnt who he is, and Robin gets up, giving Keith a chance to flee and angrily argues with Regina, before the pair turn around and leave together down the street. Now I fully admit, I dont watch the show anymore. So I dont know what grudge Robin has with Keith, but his intention was to kill Keith before Regina intervened.                   During the start of the scene, Lana was often found standing around out of site of fans around a corner waiting to do her part.           Sean Maguire made his big return to Steveston with a front & centre spot in this scene as he was in every part of the scene. During breaks later in the afternoon, he constantly would look up as massive flocks of geese that were leaving town for the winter. They were quite noisy, but his reaction to them seemed more like someone thats never seen it before. I could have probably done an entire blog on various facial expressions of Sean on this day. I dont know if I have seen someone whos face portrays so many different looks in a day since maybe Joshua Jackson on the Fringe set. At the end of the shoot, Sean & will came over & spent several minutes with the fans, taking photos and signing autographs.                   Oh, right.... yeah, forgot. You Outlaw Queen fans probably wanted to see Lana & Sean together on set. Right? Theres a few pics of that too... Once Upon A Time airs Sunday nights on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada.
