If I see you posting most or all the photos, I will have them removed. I caught up with the Once Upon A Time cast and crew in Steveston earlier this month. As I reported in my first blog post on this weeks shoots, I had lost a few photos from those days... but thankfully, not all of them. In this set, we see Rebecca Mader as Zelena interacting with season 7 stars Rose Reynolds and Tiera Skovbye as Alice & Margot in Storybrooke. Why are the two girls from Seattle in Storybrooke? Guess we'll have to wait & see. The scene had the pair come up to Zelena as she was about to get into Reginas car. They then have a lengthy talk (about what? I dont know). During a break, I ran into Rose in the little area that for 7 seasons I obtained a LOT of autographs from, the side of Grannys Diner where the show would pick up & drop off cast over the years. After having failed on no less than 3 previous attempts to get Rose for various reasons, the security team told her I was over there, and she walked over with Tiera and introduced herself and signed my items for me. Tiera then stood there waiting to sign for me, and I had to tell her that I didnt have my items for her, because she does doubler duty in this town and I still had her in my other shows folder for Riverdale. Tiera then told me "shes going to hold this over me forever" as she looked at Rose before the pair left to go back to set. This wouldnt be my last autograph at the Once Upon A Time set, but it was the last cast member I would get for the first time. After filming the scenes, Rose & Tiera went over to meet fans & take photos & sign autographs while Rebecca left to get ready for hers, and the shows final scene in Steveston with the cast of the show ever. I will have a blog post on that in the coming days. Plus video of some of the scenes, including this one.                During one of the takes Lana Parrilla showed up to set. She stayed around for one take, then left back to the trailers to get ready for her own scene later that evening. I could not help but just stare at her jacket. I definitely know I wouldnt be able to pull it off. But the Evil Queen can pretty much get away with whatever she wants. SO MUCH GOLD! I also ran into Emma Swans VW Bug just parked. It was sitting near the productions craft services area. Windows blacked out. That was the closest anyone would get to seeing Emma in Storybrooke that day. Once Upon A Time is airing the final season on ABC right now, every Friday night till the series finale on May 18, 2018. Once Upon A Time shoots scenes for episode 612 with Lana Parrilla, Sean Maguire and Will Traval12/14/2016  THIS BLOG POST IS FOR "ONCE UPON A TIME" EPISODE 612. If you have not seen this episode and do not want to see or read about possible spoilers, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . As I stated in my other blog post with that big spoiler, there was also a scene shot on November 11, 2016 with some other cast. Most notably the return of Sean Maguire as Robin Hood (which his return to the show of course, isnt a spoiler since everyone already knows this) to Steveston for a shoot, that also included Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Will Traval as "Keith" (Sheriff Of Nottingham). They first showed up to do a rehearsal for the scene. Sean & Will arrived together, and worked thru their part of the scene, then with Lana arriving awhile later dressed like she was enduring a real Canadian winter day, even though it was about 10-12C out... I cant even imagine how she must be dressing THIS week, with temperatures at night dipping down to -10. After rehearsals, they left to get ready for their shoot. After a lunch break, the cast came back to shoot the scene. They broke it down into various sections, but the scene essentially plays out like this. Keith walks down the street, Robin sees him and shoots an arrow at him. Not sure if it hits Keith, or he catches it, but that doesnt stop Robin who then storms across the street and punches out Keith with 1 punch. Keith goes down and Robin attaks further, eventually getting ontop of him with a knife to his throat, he is about to kill Keith when Regina runs down the street to stop him. She tells him this isnt who he is, and Robin gets up, giving Keith a chance to flee and angrily argues with Regina, before the pair turn around and leave together down the street. Now I fully admit, I dont watch the show anymore. So I dont know what grudge Robin has with Keith, but his intention was to kill Keith before Regina intervened.                   During the start of the scene, Lana was often found standing around out of site of fans around a corner waiting to do her part.           Sean Maguire made his big return to Steveston with a front & centre spot in this scene as he was in every part of the scene. During breaks later in the afternoon, he constantly would look up as massive flocks of geese that were leaving town for the winter. They were quite noisy, but his reaction to them seemed more like someone thats never seen it before. I could have probably done an entire blog on various facial expressions of Sean on this day. I dont know if I have seen someone whos face portrays so many different looks in a day since maybe Joshua Jackson on the Fringe set. At the end of the shoot, Sean & will came over & spent several minutes with the fans, taking photos and signing autographs.                   Oh, right.... yeah, forgot. You Outlaw Queen fans probably wanted to see Lana & Sean together on set. Right? Theres a few pics of that too... Once Upon A Time airs Sunday nights on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. They return for the 2nd half of season 6 March 2016. Once Upon A Time shot a scene for episode 608 in Richmond not far from their usual "downtown Storybrooke" location in Steveston. In this scene, there was Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen and Lanas stand in as Regina Mills. The scene started with the Evil Queen & Henry talking before Henry walks away. Shortly after Emma and Regina confront the EQ, and Regina holds out a mirror while EQ also holds out a mirror. During 1 of the breaks while they were changing the angles, Lana took her dog Lola for a walk around the beach before stopping on a log and just hanging out with her for a few minutes before she had to get back to work. After this scene wrapped, this did another scene with Colin O'Donoghue & the stand in dressed as Regina. It was SUPPOSED to have Lana there as well dressed as Regina, but the time it took her to get changed out of EQ gear & into Regina gear was going to apparently take too long & they were already behind schedule, so they just had her double do the scene. A bit later I went to Steveston for a bit. I caught a couple takes of David Paul Grove as Doc shooting a scene where he gets into a car & checks himself in a mirror. Shortly after that I called it a day with lots of filming still to happen as I had a long day up to that point already. Once Upon A Time airs Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. Once Upon A Time shoots scenes for season 5 premiere with several cast members through out the day.8/13/2015 Once Upon A Time season 5 started filming last month. The small village of Steveston in South Richmond was again transformed into Storybrooke for a day of filming for episode 1. The first scene I came across in downtown Steveston for the 1st day of shooting for Once Upon A Time season 5 in the town involved an odd sight. Granny's diner had been transformed into a beer garden. whether this is a temporary situation, or permanent was not yet known. More off, was Gabe Khouth as Sneezy wearing an Emma Swan style red jacket & driving the Sheriffs car. He shows up to what appears to be a ribbon cutting ceremony with several other dwarves in attendance including Faustino DiBauda, Mig Macario and maybe others.. I couldn't see the whole scene from where I was, but there was at least 3 or 4 of the dwarves there. Most notably missing was Lee Arenberg.        After that scene, the production moved 1/2 block down to an intersection. In the intersection they set up a scene with several cast members including Rebecca Mader, Sean Maguire, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin O'Donoghue, Emilie de Ravin and Jared Gilmore. In the scene, we see Lana as Regina Mills marching towards Rebecca and Sean as Zelena and Robin Hood. Regina is flanked by several of the locals, Hook, Mary & Dacid, Belle and Henry all follow her to the middle of the street. It seems that Zelena has robin captive somehow and demands a wand from Regina for the release of Robin. Regina does whats asked of her, and gives Zelana a wand. Robin is then let go & instantly taken in by Regina to their side of the battle. Zelena proudly waves the wand around, attempting perhaps to create magic or a spell? But its appears to be a fake. Zelena realizes it wont work, but before she can react, Regina moves in & puts a cuff around her arm and seemingly stops Zelena dead in her tracks. Once the cast did a couple rehearsals of it, they went back to their trailers & got into wardrobe for the actual filming.                      A little while later, the group returned to film the scene in their full wardrobes for the day. By that point, the crowds swelled well over 150 and at times, over 200 people, as the combination of the 1st shoot of the season and nice weather drew a larger than usual crowd. No surprise with the size of the crowd, none of the main cast came over to meet any fans at all this day. while the main cast is becoming less & less receptive of coming over in the past year or so, its rare that NONE of them do. Guess the absurdly large crowd was just too much for any of them to consider. Last week I caught the cast & crew out working in Steveston, or as you know it "Storybrooke" for a 2 day shoot. There was several scenes filmed over those 2 days, and I got a LOT of pics, so I am having to divide up things into 5 blog posts on it...yes FIVE. There was just that much stuff. So there will be a blog post solely on the night shoots here. There is a blog post on Jennifer Morrison & Colin O'Donoghue working together (already posted HERE). There will be a blog post on Ginnifer Goodwin & Josh Dallas working together along with a variety of other cast. There will be a blog post solely committed to the 2 Dwarves I saw filming over those days, and anyone that crossed paths with them in the scenes. Finally, there will be a blog post solely on the newest character for season 4, from the hit movie "Frozen" Queen Elisa, played by "Fringe" alum Georgina Haig. After a quick opinion poll on twitter, you guys decided you wanted to see the night shoot pics next, so here it is... in all their grainy & sometimes slightly blurry goodness. Lets start off with a bit of baby time. The night scenes gave Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin a chance to shoot scenes with a baby (is it their own baby filling in for the role?). During breaks Ginnifer Goodwin would interact with some of the cast carrying the baby. I nabbed a couple pics of her interacting with Sean Maguire, while holding the baby.          The night shoots were hard to get much out of. The crew was being unreasonable, abusing their "power" (they have little to none...but the Richmond RCMP let them act like they did) so they had the fans actually standing SO FAR AWAY from where they were filming, there was literally nothing at all to be seen of the scene, from any of the angles where they were making everyone stand. Of course, I am not much for just accepting such absurd demands. So I did wander around, till I found a spot that helped me at least see part of the scene for awhile and helped me manage to get some shots of the scene. It was scenes with Marian (Christie Laing) out in Grannys Diners front yard yelling about what a monster Regina ( Lana Parrilla) is to a group of onlookers that included the Evil Queen herself. Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), Roland ( Raphael Alejandro) Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), David & Mary (Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin ..as well as a baby), Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Henry (Jared Gilmore), Leroy & Walter (Lee Arenberg and Faustino Di Bauda) were all on set for these scenes at various points.                    A later scene saw Regina storm off throught the main street of Storybrooke after the altercation ended. What was the Evil Queens reaction to the verbal attack? Not too sure. The only audio that anyone could pick up was when Marian was yelling. All the scenes in the courtyard were partially or fully blocking most of the cast with crew, equipment and shrubbery. So there was not a lot that you could see at once. The 1st night, no cast came over to meet fans. Much to the chagrin of the couple dozen die hards that waited till 12:30 AM. But Lana Parrilla (on her birthday) did tell them she would be back there tomorrow. Sure enough, next night the majority of those that waited (some did not, because they waited near the barricades where they thought the security people would bring her over to) got to meet Lana when she stood around in front of the set and met with fans before security rushed her off while she was still talking and holding a fans hand. Please Do Not continue reading, or viewing the photos if you want to avoid spoilers. . . . last warning . . This season of Once Upon A Time recently filmed its finale. Unlike other seasons, few if any spoilers from the set seemed to come out. One thing that did come out however, was in the last few days of filming.... the cast in FTL clothes. Yeah I know, you've seen the "cast" in FTL clothes.....but have you seen EMMA SWAN in FTL clothes? Although we were unable to see what scenes were being shot at Burnaby's Central Park for the finale, we were able to get a glimpse at sevral of the cast ons eet, including Josh Dallas & Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin O'Donoghue, Jennifer Morrison & recurring guest star Meghan Ory. There had been rumours of Lana Parrilla also being at the set, but in the end, it seemed those were just rumours, as no sightings of the Evil Queen surfaced throughout their long day in the forest of Central Park. Later in the evening, the cast did some scenes that had just Josh, Meghan & Colin. With Ginny due to have her & Josh Dallas 1st child any day, the security was obviously overly protective of the couple, and understandably, they never came over. Colin O'Donoghue & Jennifer Morrison however did come over. What will happen in the season finale is more or less a mystery to everyone for once. But here are some 1st look pics of Jennifer Morrison in FTL attire, along with Colin O'Donoghue, Ginny & Josh & Meghan Ory from the set this past week. Season 3 of the ABC fantasy drama "Once Upon A Time" has rarely been seen around this year by the locals. With most of their production now in studio for the Neverland scenes, finding the cast on location has proved to be a challenge for most. So no shock, yesterday was my 1st venture to a OUAT set this season. It was in New Westminster at the house used for Regina. This particular set of scenes involved Dr. Archie Hopper (Raphael Sbarge), Regina Mills (Lana Parrilla) & a guest star who I cant name...because no one knows the name outside of the crew. I know what the scenes entailed somewhat, but cant go into too much detail. Just to say, it is a flashback scene involving the pair & baby Henry. There was nothing to see of the actual filming, unless you were there bright & early when they did a short scene of Archie walking to/away from the front door. The rest was all interior. We did however catch up to both stars outside. Raphael, on his lunch break, stopped to sign for the 7-10 fans that were there before heading back inside to do more work. Lana, after her filming concluded around 7 PM met all the fans, which by then was close to a dozen, and signed autographs & took photos. Below is a few photos from last night. I will have a few more photos of non-location OUAT interactions to post soon. Included in there will be some Jennifer Morrison pics from recently, and some leftover forgotten about pics from last season of Jamie Chung (Mulan) & Sarah Bolger (Princess Aurora) & a few from a friend who was at this past summers San Diego Comic-Con.
