 THIS POST MAY CONTAIN POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR A ONCE UPON A TIME EPISODE IN SEASON 6. Once Upon A Time shot scenes for 1 of their final episodes of the season, episode 621, in Steveston in March with Robert Carlyle, Jared Gilmore, Jaime Murray, Beverley Elliott, Raphael Sbarge & Lee Arenberg on set during the day. An early scene saw Jared Gilmore, the co-Best Youth Actor Winner in the Best Of TV Awards this year as Henry Mills walking down the middle of Main Street (Moncton Street in Steveston) in Storybrooke with his story book, and no one seems to be around. Later scenes saw Beverley Elliott as Granny, Lee Arenberg as Leroy and Raphael Sbarge Dr. Hopper also on set, along with Jaime Murray as the Black Fairy & Robert Carlyle as Mr. Gold. The most interesting thing of the day, at some point Henry ends up so seriously injured, that he is being taken into an ambulance with a neckbrace on, and the Black Fairy is carrying the story book. I guess thats what you get for walking down the middle of Main Street. Later in the day, a scene was shot with Gold & Black Fairy sitting in Reginas car talking. She shows him a file on something, and he then gets out of the car and leaves, with a worried look on his face. Near the end of the day one of the shows creators, Adam Horowitz was on set talking with Robert Carlyle for a while on two separate occasions. At the end of the second talk, Robert gave him a hug, and left Adam as he went inside the actors holding area. Lots of people were assuming it was a talk about either trying to sign Robert back up, or a good bye chat. Neither of these cases can anyone confirm, since they were not in the talk, and anyone claiming to know otherwise, not named Robert carlyle or Adam Horowitz, is full of it. This scene is pretty basic. Emma Swan & Captain Hook (Jennifer Morrison & Colin O'Donoghue) are sitting in Emmas bug, when Hook puts a police light ontop of the bug, and they turn around and drive off together. Once Upon A Time was back in Steveston on Tuesday filming some scenes for two episodes. Mostly it was for episode 619, but they also did 1 scene for 620 later in the day. They started the day shooting a scene with 3 people. Rebecca Mader (who was out of sight the whole scene.... so I never got a photo of her) Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Jaime Murray as the Black Fairy. The scene seemed to see the pair squaring off in the midddle of the street, sizing each other up. At one point you hear Bex yell "Regina", and in a later scene after the 3 actresses had wrapped, the Black Fairy stunt double did a scene where she is thrown through the air. This is the second blog of this days shoot since it finished 2nd in my twitter vote on which one to do 1st. You can see my other behind the scene OUAT blogs from the past HERE and my autograph gallery HERE                      Once Upon A Time shoots scenes for episode 612 with Lana Parrilla, Sean Maguire and Will Traval12/14/2016  THIS BLOG POST IS FOR "ONCE UPON A TIME" EPISODE 612. If you have not seen this episode and do not want to see or read about possible spoilers, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . As I stated in my other blog post with that big spoiler, there was also a scene shot on November 11, 2016 with some other cast. Most notably the return of Sean Maguire as Robin Hood (which his return to the show of course, isnt a spoiler since everyone already knows this) to Steveston for a shoot, that also included Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Will Traval as "Keith" (Sheriff Of Nottingham). They first showed up to do a rehearsal for the scene. Sean & Will arrived together, and worked thru their part of the scene, then with Lana arriving awhile later dressed like she was enduring a real Canadian winter day, even though it was about 10-12C out... I cant even imagine how she must be dressing THIS week, with temperatures at night dipping down to -10. After rehearsals, they left to get ready for their shoot. After a lunch break, the cast came back to shoot the scene. They broke it down into various sections, but the scene essentially plays out like this. Keith walks down the street, Robin sees him and shoots an arrow at him. Not sure if it hits Keith, or he catches it, but that doesnt stop Robin who then storms across the street and punches out Keith with 1 punch. Keith goes down and Robin attaks further, eventually getting ontop of him with a knife to his throat, he is about to kill Keith when Regina runs down the street to stop him. She tells him this isnt who he is, and Robin gets up, giving Keith a chance to flee and angrily argues with Regina, before the pair turn around and leave together down the street. Now I fully admit, I dont watch the show anymore. So I dont know what grudge Robin has with Keith, but his intention was to kill Keith before Regina intervened.                   During the start of the scene, Lana was often found standing around out of site of fans around a corner waiting to do her part.           Sean Maguire made his big return to Steveston with a front & centre spot in this scene as he was in every part of the scene. During breaks later in the afternoon, he constantly would look up as massive flocks of geese that were leaving town for the winter. They were quite noisy, but his reaction to them seemed more like someone thats never seen it before. I could have probably done an entire blog on various facial expressions of Sean on this day. I dont know if I have seen someone whos face portrays so many different looks in a day since maybe Joshua Jackson on the Fringe set. At the end of the shoot, Sean & will came over & spent several minutes with the fans, taking photos and signing autographs.                   Oh, right.... yeah, forgot. You Outlaw Queen fans probably wanted to see Lana & Sean together on set. Right? Theres a few pics of that too... Once Upon A Time airs Sunday nights on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. If you have not yet seen this episode, and dont want to see or read possible spoilers, do not continue reading or viewing the photos below. . . . last warning . . Let me first off say, before I get into describing this days scenes in this post. I. DO. NOT. WRITE. THE. SHOW. So dont feel compelled to complain to ME if what you read is to your disliking as I know 1 particular subsection of the fandom is going to feel angry, and another overjoyed at what transpired. I am also going to say, dont whine to the writers. They have a vision for the show. If you dont agree with it, you can either quit watching, or watch it later elsewhere and fast forward the parts you hate. In any case, remember.... I dont write it, I dont pick & choose which scenes they opt to film in public, so I have NO CONTROL over the material I covered on this day. Just the last 5-6-7- times I've posted stuff with a particular actor in it, I get attacked by a specific group for "favoring" that actor. I dont pick who shoots what scenes. Once Upon A Time found themselves in their most commonly used location spot, Steveston, for a shoot in early November for scenes for episode 612 "Murder Most Foul" directed by Morgan Beggs. This particular day they shot 3 scenes around the village. Two on their main drag of Moncton Street, another up on the docks. In the early scene we see Joshua Dallas as David/Prince Charming and Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Hook walking through Storybrooke together at a hurried pace. What very few who went to the early shoot GOT to see was the end of the scene where Charming handcuffs Captain Hook to a bike rack. WHY does he do it? Well, thats something you'll have to tune in to the episode to find out, because I certainly couldnt hear the conversation. That scene was a pretty quick shoot, and eventually the pair left the set while the next group of actors came for the middle scene of the day, which I will cover in another blog post that will be linked HERE when it is finally done in a couple days. Once it got dark out, the crew moved to the walkway at the docks of Steveston for a night scene that will have the fandom reacting 1 way or another, depending what your loyalties are to the show. The scene had 3 cast. Josh Dallas again. Colin O'Donoghue again. There was also an actor on set that so far no one has commented on anywhere, so let me be the first to welcome former Medium star David Cubitt to the Once world, as he was portraying the part of Robert Charming, who as I am lead to believe, is a ghost in this scene. The scene starts with the elder Charming & the younger Charming staring over the ledge of the pier, Robert puts his arm on David and says some words to him. Eventually Robert leaves, only moments later to be replaced by Captain Hook. The same Hook that David handcuffed a bit earlier in the day. So what revenge does he have in store for David? Well, none, technically. You see, Hook was there to talk to David about something I can already hear the fandom squeeing &/or gritting their teeth at all at the same time, he asks David if he has his permission to ask Emma to marry him. Yes, you read that right Oncers. But what will Emmas father, and the man who handcuffed him to a bike rack earlier in the day say? Well, he says "Yes, of course", before the pair walk away together. I guess the question now is..... what will Emma say? That I am sure will be done in studio.... especially after this post is posted I am guessing. or maybe they already filmed it before this days shoot since filming is not done in chronological order, so a scene from 1 day could absolutely end up 40 minutes in the episode later than a scene shot 3 days prior. If you have not seen this episode & do not want to read or view possible spoilers to it, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time shot a scene for episode 608 in Richmond not far from their usual "downtown Storybrooke" location in Steveston. In this scene, there was Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen and Lanas stand in as Regina Mills. The scene started with the Evil Queen & Henry talking before Henry walks away. Shortly after Emma and Regina confront the EQ, and Regina holds out a mirror while EQ also holds out a mirror. During 1 of the breaks while they were changing the angles, Lana took her dog Lola for a walk around the beach before stopping on a log and just hanging out with her for a few minutes before she had to get back to work. After this scene wrapped, this did another scene with Colin O'Donoghue & the stand in dressed as Regina. It was SUPPOSED to have Lana there as well dressed as Regina, but the time it took her to get changed out of EQ gear & into Regina gear was going to apparently take too long & they were already behind schedule, so they just had her double do the scene. A bit later I went to Steveston for a bit. I caught a couple takes of David Paul Grove as Doc shooting a scene where he gets into a car & checks himself in a mirror. Shortly after that I called it a day with lots of filming still to happen as I had a long day up to that point already. Once Upon A Time airs Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. THIS POST IS FOR EPISODE 605 OF "ONCE UPON A TIME". If you have not seen this episode and do not want to see or read any possible spoilers to the episode. Do not continue viewing or reading this post. . . . last warning . . Once Upon A Time filmed scenes for episode 605 in Steveston in August. Besides the night scene I posted earlier, there was 2 day scenes I saw as well. The first had e regular/semi-regular cast on set. As Robert Carlyle as Mr. Gold, Rebecca Mader as Zelena and Beverley Elliott as Granny were all on set. There was also a baby on set as you can see from the pics below. As well, there was a woman in a red top who COULD have been a guest star, or just an extra that was going to get more face time than most usually do because she was getting more attention from the crew than the average background extra gets. The scene was pretty long, but didn't reveal much except that we see Zelena go into Grannys Diners courtyard and sit down, and later on Mr. Gold leaves Grannys. Besides that, there was little to know about the scene. A bit later they filmed out on the street with Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan and Raphael Sbarge as Dr. Archie Hopper. After the shoot, Raphael came over & met with fans. This scene was much more visible and it seemed like Dr. Hopper was trying to talk Emma into or out of something before she turns on the engine and drives off. Once Upon A Time airs on Sundays on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. This episode SHOULD be airing TONIGHT.
