UPDATE: October 6, 2019 - 12:10 PM - More photos added to a gallery below the video. This past Saturday, Vancouver was treated to the 3rd annual Legends & Stars charity soccer game at B.C. Place. Despite quite miserable weather, and a plethora of cancellations from a couple of the more notable names originally attached to it, 100s of fans came out to watch stars of TV, movies, music & sports play to help various charities, including the BC Childrens Hospital. In past years, main stars from many of the shows that film here like Once Upon A Time, Riverdale, iZombie, The 100, and others have taken part, but to date, they had not been able to nab any of the leads from the longest running show currently filming in Vancouver, Supernatural. Although Jared Padalecki bailed on the event that he originally was schedule to take part in, so he could hang out at a UFC fight literally across the street, the show was represented by the one & only Jensen Ackles. While Jensen may have been the largest draw at the game, there was no shortage of other stars that had their fans there too. Other former Supernatural recurring & guest stars were there too, like Aleks Paunovic, Tahmoh Penikett, Jonathan Lloyd Walker, and Chris Gauthier. Ross Lynch from "Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina", Jacob Tremblay from the Oscar nominated film "Room". Adam Tsekhman from "Legends Of Tomorrow" and Dan Payne, who recently played King Shark in "The Flash" repped the Arrowverse. Chandler Riggs, Lizzy Greene and Chance Hurstfield all from "A Million Little Things" were there. Locally shot teen dramas like "Riverdale" which was repped by Jordan Connor, Martin Cummins and Drew Ray Tanner, as well as a plethora of "The 100" cast, including Marie Avgeropoulos, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Jarod Joseph, Sachin Sahel and Lee Majdoub, were some of the more popular draws for non-Supernatural fans. Others in the game included "Siren" castmates Alex Roe, and Curtis Lum. Colin Lawrence (Riverdale, Supernatural, iZombie, The Killing), Ryan Robbins (Pure, The Killing, Sanctuary), Kayla Wallace (When Calls The Heart), Benjamin Hollingsworth (Code Black, Virgin River), Dean Redman (Mech X4, Smallville), Aria Birch (Pup Academy, Somewhere Between), Jean Luc Bilodeau (Baby Daddy, Kyle XY, Piranha 3DD), Teach Grant (It Chapter 2, Van Helsing) & Tyler Shaw "musician" were the other TV, movie & music people on the rosters. Former soccer players John Catliff, Davide Chiumiento, Jeff Clarke, Terry Dunfield, Erin McNutly, Guido Titotto, Rob Merkl, and Johnny Sulentic were joined by former Vancouver Canucks star Cliff Ronning to round out the former athletes on the roster. Here are some photos from the game, the anthem, and introductions. I have over 200 photos selected to post, but cant get to them all at once. So heres about 40 or so right now. The rest, I will post as time permits throughout this month. First up, some photos of the stars showing up for the game. Pics of Aleks, Tahmoh, Chandler, Lizzy, Chance, Jacob, Ross, Jensen, Alex, Richard & Adam in that batch. Also, for the Jensen fans.... there is a 4 minute video at the bottom of him playing in the game. Sorry other fans, he was the only one I got any good video of. Next up, some photos from the warm ups, pre-game ceremonies, and national anthem playing. There is a vast assortment here, when I have more time, I will try to label them all. But, fair to say, MOST everyone in the game I got a photo of at some point. If you do not see who you want in here right now, let me know and I will try to find some for the next batch. **If you are one of the players, or the family of one of the children on the field during these ceremonies and would like the photos that you are in, please use the contact form at the side of the page on desktops, or the drop down menu on mobile devices, and let me know which photos you want. I will then ask you some follow up questions to confirm identity, and send them at no charge once identity is confirmed.** More photos to be added later on.... but till then, heres a video to hold you over of Jensen Ackles sort of, technically, playing some type of ball based game. A promised, here are more photos form the game.... I will try to add mor eat a later date. But October is probably a pretty busy month for me, so it could take a while.

The cast & crew of DC's Legends Of Tomorrow were on location for the 5th episode of the season earlier this week in the Chinatown area of downtown Vancouver. This is of course the episode many fans were waiting for, as it will be the directing debut of one of the shows leads, Caity Lotz. I got to the set around the time they were supposed to start, and in typical film industry fashion, they didn't start at the time posted. Caity was there, going through the set with a couple different people at different points either telling them what she wanted to do there, or asking them if they would be able to do something there. When they finally started filming, they were doing a scene with Nick Zano as Nate Heywood. He was on a scooter, when he sees a man riding a motorcycle stop, get off his motorcycle & walk away. A bit later, a continuation of that scene was set up, this time with the man riding the motorcycle switched out for the on screen face of the scene. Terry Chen, who some may remember from another Vancouver shot time traveling show Continuum, showed up to take over the part. He is playing former Mongolian emperor Ghengis Khan for this episode. It seems time has done an oopsie, because Genghis finds himself in a more modern day location, ad he rides a motorcycle & carries a briefcase for some reason. Once Khan walks away from his ride, Nate walks up to the bike and starts looking at it, and even at one point pushes down on it. Not sure what Nate was doing, was he planning to steal Genghis Khans ride? Or was he checking to see if it was real? Not too sure. The day after, the crew moved to a place known as The Fortress, which is used by a lot of crews for high impact stunts. On set that day was Maisie Richardson Sellers, Nick Zano, and Terry Chen. But I don't really know anything about the scenes since they were all inside, except for 1 exterior done earlier in the day before I had a chance to get there. Legends Of Tomorrow will return for season 5 in January 2020.
