The 2015 Best Of TV Awards will begin in the next few weeks. The 6th annual BOTVA's will first need some nominees on top of the ones already added. Especially in categories where last years nominees can not possible be eligible this year, such as New Programs, Best Episode & Director.

Former BOTVA winners, still eligible in their category, along with all finalists from last years awards, still eligible in their categories -  are automatically nominated.

Nominees who may have been a finalist/winner in a category last year, but are now not eligible, but are eligible in a different category have been automatically nominated in those categories (this is most common in the actor/actress categories where a guest star/recurring actor/actress one year, may not be eligible in that category, but is eligible in a different one now due to episode number appearances in the calendar year)

When nominating someone. PLEASE MAKE SURE the nominee is eligible for the category you are adding them to. If you incorrectly place them in the wrong category... it might come back as a penalty against your nominee in the voting rounds. So MAKE SURE you have the proper category for them.... if you are not sure what category they belong in (mainly for actors/actresses episode numbers) consult http://imdb.com to see how many episode they may have been in for that calendar year.

If you are unsure which category a show/acting choice goes in (is it a sci-fi/fantasy, or a drama/action, or a comedy?)- Feel free to simply state the show/actor/actresses name with "unknown" and I will sort out which category they may belong in.

DO NOT nominate New Programs (first airing in 2015) for the genre specific categories, they do not belong there this year, and will not be added.

As always, DO NOT nominate someone if you see they have already been nominated. The more invalid nominations I have to sort thru, the longer everything takes. So if your favorite was already nominated by someone else... DO NOT nominate them again. You aren't doing them, you, or me any favours.

Once the actual Nominee voting round begins, we will follow the same rules as years prior.

- NO LIMIT on voting will be in place for round 1...HOWEVER, anyone found using BOT systems to vote may be in for a disappointment come the 2ndround ballots.
- The semi-finals and finals will as always, be a ONE VOTE PER PERSON (IP address) rule in effect, so you should start rallying troops for your faves well before we get to that round.
