While the actor category has had 3 winners from 3 different shows, and TBBT has split the best actress honours between two of their lead females, the show just cant be stopped. The group of 4 geeks & a hot girl has branched out over the past few years, and now sees a 7 character cast that seems to be nowhere near the end of its road in its 7th season. The Big Bang Theory nabbed 892 votes. Well back in 2nd is another CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother" with 453 votes. In 3rd was FOX hit "Glee" with 311 votes. In 4th "Psych". In 5th "Modern Family". In 6th "2 Broke Girls". In 7th "Community". In 8th "Parks And Recreation". In 9th "New Girl". In 10th "30 Rock". The Big Bang Theory took the lead immediately and never surrendered it. The Big Bang Theory sets a new category record for votes with 892, the previous record held by The Big Bang Theory in 2011 was 810 votes. The Big Bang Theory sets a new record for largest margain of victory in the category with 449 vote lead. Previous record in 2011 was 226 votes. The Big Bang Theory becomes the only program to win its category 4 times & 4 consecutive years. Most unexpected win this year may be Chris Colfer. Not even nominated last year, and only a semi-finalist in 2011, Colfer won this year despite being last after the 1st 2 days of the voting. Once fans of the man who brings openly gay character Kurt Hummel to life on "Glee" realized he was in the finals, they rallied support for him quickly. Colfer won with 917 votes. Runner up was the 2012 Winner Jim Parsons "The Big Bang Theory" with 727 votes. In 3rd was the 2011 Winner Neil Patrick Harris "How I Met Your Mother" with 624 votes. In 4th, 3 time finalist, the late Cory Monteith "Glee". In 5th Simon Helberg "The Big Bang Theory". In 6th James Roday "Psych". In 7th Timothy Omundson "Psych". After surrendering the 2012 honour to her "The Big Bang Theory" castmate Mayim Bialik, Kaley Cuoco returns in 2013 to take the award. The "every geeks dream girl" Penny on the show has become a hit with many people around the world, and its vaulted Kaley into a level of fandom rarely seen with sitcom actresses. With 525 votes Kaley won handily. Runner up Mayim Bialik "The Big Bang Theory", the 2012 winner finished 2nd with 371 votes. In 3rd was Alyson Hannigan "How I Met Your Mother" with 344 votes. The Best Comedy Program, actor & actress categories were dominated by The Big Bang Theory last year. This year could end up the same way. Best Comedy Program category had very few shocks as the 3X Best Comedy Program winners The Big Bang Theory led voters with 147 votes. Well back in 2nd How I Met Your Mother with 104 votes. In 3rd was another CBS show 2 Broke Girls with 68 votes. Rounding out the top 6 was a 3 way tie for 4th, Modern Family, New Girl & Psych. The rest of the Finalists are - Glee, Community, Parks & Recreation & 30 Rock Missing the finals - Raising Hope by 5 votes, Wilfred by 10 votes, Girls by 11 votes & 2010 finalist Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia far back 20 votes out.
