UPDATE December 31, 2016- Sci-Fi/fantasy, and Action/Drama Actor, Actress & Program semi-Finalists added

The 2016 Best Of TV Awards recently wrapped up the 1st round of voting. After more than a few hiccups (thanks to twitter mainly) voting ended more than a week behind when it should have & unfortunately, theres no reason for me to believe the issues plaguing round 1 might suddenly vanish for this round as some twitter algorithym seems intent on blocking tweets about the awards. But, we must move forward, so round two is under way.

The results form round 1. AGAIN due to those long delays, I have condensed the results into two posts, and wont go over every single person to advance. If you want the FULL results, please check the images below. I was overjoyed this year there was essentially no voting write in controversies & only 1 case of bot voting reported. It made my job on this part of it MUCH easier to do, thank goodness after all the other issues.

Like always, I strongly encourage voters to remember.... just because your candidate finished 2nd or 3rd or even 9th behind some candidate with 1000+ votes, dont get discouraged. Most times, those large vote totals all come from 1 user. In fact, of the 10 largest round 1 scores of all time, only 2 went on to win the award, and 3 others didnt even make the finals. Passing the message on to others, whos vote count equally in rounds two and three, are far more valuable than sitting around for hours voting repeatedly in round 1. With no unlimited voting in the last two rounds, networking in round 1 is far more vital than mass voting.
