Ackles, unfamiliar with losing in these awards got crushed last year after Reedus tweeted to vote for him & The Walking Dead. This year, Jensen managed 669 votes to take the honour. In 2nd was the most active twitter campaigner this year in the category, Eric Balfour "Haven" managed 511 votes. In 3rd was Peter Dinklage "Game Of Thrones" with 422 votes. In 4th Robert Carlyle "Once Upon A Time". In 5th Misha Collins "Supernatural". In 6th Jared Padalecki "Supernatural". In 7th Kris Holden-Ried "Lost Girl". In 8th Tom Mison "Sleepy Hollow". Constantly contenders for show & actress awards, Finally, they have their 1st major award here, as Zoie Palmer takes the 2013 Best Sci-Fi or Fantasy Actress award. With the 2012 winner Jennifer Morrison missing the finals, and the runner up Anna Torv not eligible for the award, Palmer, 4th in 2012, was suddenly a serious consideration for 2013 & narrowly won, beating out "Game Of Thrones" Emilia Clarke by 3 votes, 505 to 502. In 3rd was Emily Rose "Haven" which I would consider the 2013 break-out show for making an impact here, with 493 votes. In 4th was Lana Parrilla "Once Upon A Time". Once fans of the man who brings openly gay character Kurt Hummel to life on "Glee" realized he was in the finals, they rallied support for him quickly. Colfer won with 917 votes. Runner up was the 2012 Winner Jim Parsons "The Big Bang Theory" with 727 votes. In 3rd was the 2011 Winner Neil Patrick Harris "How I Met Your Mother" with 624 votes. Probably the most contested award this year, the New Program category eventually found its winner in the rookie drama about con-woman Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) & her clones. The drama drew rave reviews this year & even saw Maslany nominated for major awards for her portrayal of various versions of the same person. Orphan Black won with 433 votes. Runner up, "Hannibal" had 405 votes. In 3rd was "Sleepy Hollow" with 399 votes. In 4th "Almost Human". In 5th "Marvel Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D". In 6th "The Blacklist". In 7th "The Originals". Olsson was nominated last year for Recurring actor for the same role, finishing 4th. With 576 votes Olsson won ccomfortably over runner up Christian Kane "King & Maxwell" at 414 votes. In 3rd was Grant Gustin "Arrow" with 412 votes In 4th was last years Recurring actress winner Rachel Miner "Supernatural", 5th John Noble "Sleepy Hollow", 6th Dylan Everett "Supernatural", 7th Ellen Muth "Hannibal", 8th Seth Gabel "Arrow", 9th Joshua Gomez "Castle", 10th Christopher Heyerdahl "Castle". Felicia Day reprised her tech savvy, fantasy game loving lesbian character Charlie Bradbury 3 times in 2013 which made her eligible for the Recurring award,, a finalist fr the Guest Star award last year, Day this time won her award with 699 votes. Well back in 2nd, Anna Torv "Fringe" with only 3 episode of the sci-fi hit in the year 2013 was eligible for this award instead of the top sci-fi actress honour. She nabbed 348 votes. In 3rd Alaiana Huffman "Supernatural" with 319 votes. Gillian Anderson "Hannibal" was 4th, Bex Taylor-Klaus "Arrow" was 5th. Amanda Tapping "Supernatural" was 6th. Jamie Chung "Once Upon A Time" 7th.
