Voting on the finals happens HERE The Sci-fi and Fantasy categories are often some of the most voted on, but its usually with clear run away winners in each one. This year, looks like that wont be happening. The Sci-fi/fantasy program category, which last year was dominated by The Walking Dead after the shows star Norman Reedus told fans to vote, seems to have some real competition this year. There will be a second vote that will be happening in the upcoming weeks to give late season episodes/guest stars a chance to make the finals as voting for these categories closed well before mid-season finales aired. These categories will be the last categories voted on this round, after the secondary vote has taken place, those votes will garner 1 to 5 semi-finalists. Till those categories are officially done, here is CURRENT list of semi-finalists for these categories. Best Episode. With much, much more competition this year, the 2 time winners of the award, Supernatural will be in for a fight this year to three-peat. But with FOUR semi-finalists, they will have lots of horses in the race. Leading vote getter in round 1 "Second Time" (Continuum) with 1578 votes. Once a candidate has been nominated once, no more nominations are required.... so please don't nominate people already listed above The Best Guest Star of 2012 as voted by you the fans was.. MARK PELLEGRINO "SUPERNATURAL".
Much like the Supporting actor category, it was a Supernatural dominated category, with fringe making just enough noise to prevent complete domination. Mark Pellegrino takes the award, leaving another SPN guest star DJ Qualls in 2nd "Fringe" star Leonard Nimoy nabs 3rd, interrupting the potential podium sweep for SPN as Felicia Day takes 4th. All 4 of these people had the lead in this poll at 1 time, before Pellegrino took over & never looked back. With Lucifer having been queited from Sams head, will this be the last we see of Pellegrino on SPN? Hard to say, but with Mark doing so many shows, its not too hard to see him back for this award again in the near future. Mark Pellegrino beats runner up DJ Qualls by 123 votes. Back in 3rd, Leonard Nimoy was 103 votes out of 2nd, and narrowly beats 4th place Felicia Day by only 4 votes. 5th place Wil Wheaton from "The Big Bang Theory" was 113 votes back, beating out "Fringe" guest star Rebecca Mader by 22 votes. Mark Pellegrino wins his 1st award here, and the 1st for SPN in this category as the inagural award went to Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum.. Final vote totals Mark Pellegrino "Supernatural" 514 DJ Qualls "Supernatural" 391 Lenoard Nimoy "Fringe" 288 Felicia Day "Supernatural" 284 Wil Wheaton "The Big Bang Theory" 171 Rebecca Mader "Fringe" 149 |
