THIS POST CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 223 OF "THE FLASH". If you have not yet seen the episode and do not want to read or see possible spoilers from the episode, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . The Flash shot scenes for their season 2 finale in an allley they have used in the past in downtown Vancouver in mid-April. This time, instead of The Flash VS The Flash scenes happening that I saw last time I was there, we had Grant Gustin as The Flash VS Teddy Sears as Zoom, along with their stunt team. The scene showed the speedsters in an altercation, and, it seemed that this time maybe Barry was getting the better of Hunter Zolomon for once. The distance from the scene that onlookers were kept at made it hard for me to get too many decent pics with my camera, so I apologize for the fuzziness/blurryness of some of them. Both actors came over and greeted fans at different times. Grant coming over first, and meeting with the considerably large crowd for such a seemingly inaccessible to public shoot. Most of the crowd left after that, but the few faithful fans that waited it out got to meet Teddy Sears about an hour later, as he came over and met with fans before going back to do his last scene of the night. I managed to get a couple autographs from Grant, but missed Teddy as he got called back to work... but I managed to catch up to him the next day as he was leaving town after wrapping the season and he apologized for not getting to me the night before. The Flash will air its season finale Tuesday May 24th, 2016 on The CW in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. You can see all my previous blog posts on The Flash shoots HERE.

THIS POST CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 222 OF "THE FLASH". If you have not yet seen the episode and do not want to read or see possible spoilers from the episode, do not continue reading or viewing the photos. . . . last warning . . The Flash shot scenes for episode 222 in downtown Vancouver a few weeks ago. They used a couple of locations on this night, most notable a building on Melville Street that they have used before (as as Arrow and others.). Later they moved out to the VERY open and public shoot on Burrard Street. The opening scene. The Melville location had a couple of recognizable names on location. Carlos Valdes was there, along with former Arrow star Katie Cassidy who was dressed a bit differently from her Black Canary days, as she was there to portray the role of "Black Siren" the E2 version of Laurel Lance. The scene was done inside, so we cant tell you what happened... but everyone that was there managed to meet the pair when they wrapped the scene. After that, the production moved to the alley behind the building with a scene that had two actresses (which i confused for pretty much everyone on the DC roster at 1 point or another while I was staring at them from a block away, thought girl in red might be Katie Cassidy, then Willa Holland, thought the other girl might be candice Patton, then Malese Jow.) that at this time I dont know who/what role they were playing, seem to be getting chased by a cloaked villain at the end of the alley. At this time I cant say much on what the scene entailed as I suspect a lot of VFX was going to be added in later. If anyone has any insight as to who the two actresses are, or the villian, please let me know so I can credit them properly. While that alley scene was going on, several of us met Grant Gustin as he left his holding area which was right near the first set, to go to the next location. In the late shoot.. over on Burrard Street saw Katie Cassidy out in full Black Siren garb facing off with Grant Gustin dressed as The Flash, and with a little assistance from Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West. I can confirm that Siren & The Flash had a face to face sizing up, and that from all accounts of the scene I saw their stunt personnel play out, it looks like E2 Laurel was getting the best of Barry, and seemed to use something similar to the Canary cry device Black Canary had on Arrow.
I know a lot of people are wondering if we will see Laurel on The Flash full time now that she is dead on Arrow. My feeling was this was a 1 off telling of E2 Laurel. Maybe I'll be wrong, but currently nothing has suggested other than that yet. The Flash airs Tuesdays on The CW in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada, and this episode will air TOMORROW NIGHT, May 17, 2016.
