The Flash was on location for the season 7  finale. After catching them at several locations for the penultimate episode (their 150th episode) earlier this month, I wondered if I would see them out for the finale as much. Last 2 nights, I got my first look at them on location for the season 7 finale.

As I reported in my 1st report on the finale HERE, The Flash cast & crew were doing scenes around Science World. On this night, they were working on continuations from the night befores big fight. Grant Gustin was there as The Flash, Tom Cavanagh as Reverse Flash, and recently identified by Youtuber Pagey, (and confirmed by me at the set after he told me the name) Karan Oberoi was there as Godspeed. Their stunt doubles were all there too, as you can see from 1 of the photos below where all 6 of them are in 1 shot between takes, but I saw almost no use of them while I was there, only 1 I saw being used was Godspeeds double.

Unlike the night prior, these scenes had a different twist on what we were seeing shot the night before. This time, we see Godspeed seemingly beating The Flash again, doing his chest power suction thing, when this time Reverse Flash sneaks up on Godspeed, waits for him to turn around, and stabs him thru the chest with 1 of those mystery green sticks. Godspeed crumples to the ground, seemingly dead. Barry run over to check on him, seeming to show concern for the fallen "god", then yells at Reverse Flash "what have you done?", the pair then stand and have a conversation, Barry obviously looking displeased, while Eobard stood there with an I did what had to be done because you wouldnt feel to his posture. Then we see Thawne try to punch Barry, and Barry dips out of the way (similar to what I saw Mirror Monarch do to him back earlier this season) and as his fist goes by his face, Barry grabs Reverse Flashs arm, and simulates a hip toss, sending Eobard about 60 feet away onto the ground. When he gets up, Barry zips over, and they have ANOTHER conversaiton, where Eobard yells at Barry "I made you", before looking at himself with his arms down in front of him for some reason, then they stand off for a few more seconds (maybe Barry speaks? I didnt have a good view of his side), before Reverse Flash runs off. Barry then turns around, and runs over to the body of Godspeed, and the scene ends.

The Flash was on location for the season 7 finale. After catching them at several locations for the penultimate episode (their 150th episode) earlier this month, I wondered if I would see them out for the finale as much. Last night, and early this morning, I got my first look at them on location for the season 7 finale.

An early in the day location at a place just outside of the downtown core I did not get to in time to see any filming, but I do have a minor tidbit to add to the blog at a later date from there.

But onto what you really came here for.... The Flash cast & crew were filming on an overnight shoot outside Science World in the area between the downtown core, and Olympic Village. Grant Gustin was on set as The Flash. There was also a Godspeed on set, and I actually heard the guy speaking this night (plus I also saw him I believe at a set for 7x17), so is THE Godspeed? (update - Karan Oberoi is the name playing Godspeed) But 1 person I had not planned on seeing, was the recently announced to be leaving, Tom Cavanagh. If thats not a crazy enough spoiler for you.....

The scenes the trio did, all were part of a fight scene. It starts with The Flash & Godspeed in a battle that eventually sees Godspeed with the upper hand, and seemingly ready to kill Barry, when someone comes in to stop him. Is it Frost? Vibe? One of his kids? NO! REVERSE FLASH! That is correct, Tom is back as Reverse Flash, AND he helped Barry out in his fight with Godspeed. After Reverse Flash sends Godspeed flying across the courtyard, Barry slowly gets partially up, before Reverse Flash puts out a hand to help him up, and Barry accepts. The pair get up, and then seemingly head into the next part of the fight.
Much later, after lunch, they did a scene I saw them rehearse early in the night with the trio in a fight with glowing green sticks (I did think at first they were light sabers, but they sounded more wooden sadly). In the fight, Godspeed fights off the pair. The only part of any dialogue I ever really heard crystal clear was "you cant kill a God" coming from Godspeed.

What all does this mean???? Is Reverse Flash getting a redemption arc? Is this a temporary alliance to take on a more problematic foe for both of them? We will have to wait & see.

The Flash was on location for season 7 shooting on Tuesday morning, afternoon and evening for episode 717. The director is Eric Dean Seaton, he directed the The Exorcism Of Nash Wells episode last season. This is also the 150th episode for the series.

The crew were filming at the Vancouver Art Gallery south plaza. A location most recently seen on Batwoman this season for an episode, but has been used by pretty much every show. When I first showed up today they were doing stunts with 4 Godspeeds getting thrown across the plaza. The scene was very short.

Not long later, they prepped for another scene that actually had cast on set. Grant Gustin as The Flash, and Jessica Parker Kennedy as XS were on set doing a read through... and shortly after that Danielle Panabaker showed up as ...... FROST. Yes, Frost is in fact back.

The scene was pretty long, and as best as I can recall, it went like this. Flash & XS come zipping in, and are standing by a device that I recall, but cant remember what it is for (I am sure 1 of you will tell me), they act happy, XS then hugs Flash, and immediately falls to the ground afterwards. Flash then checks on her, before being attacked by something, and is struggling to fight against it while protecting XS, then Frost does something with her Frost powers, helping Flash get free, then the pair check on XS who was still out on the ground. In some of the photos you might see something around Grants neck, that was NOT part of the scene, its a battery powered fan to keep him cool.

Here is a few photos from The Flash filming at a church, it was made up to be called "Zauriel Cathedral" for episode 7x17 the day, and 3 days after these shots prior. John Wesley Shipp was dressed in his speedster costume (at least the pants part when I saw him), and Jessica Parker Kennedy as XS were seen on set the 1st day. Grant Gustin & Karan Oberoi were seen on set the second day. I didnt have any details on the scenes, outside of these people being there on those days. So here they are.
