The Flash was on location for the 6th episode of the season Thursday & Friday at the Pacific Central Train Station (aka - the train station we first meet Barry Allen getting out of in Arrow in Starling City). This time, Barry Allen was again there, but like last time, it was not in Central City again. This time, it was in Midway City, and this time, an Art Pavilion. For the first day & 1/2, the cast & crew were filming in an inaccessible to the public part of a basement in the station. During the time I was there over those two days, I saw Grant Gustin, Hartley Sawyer & Danielle Panabaker from the main cast going in, or coming out of there at some point. Along with a couple guest stars. One was Carlo Rota. Another I saw on the 2nd day showed up looking like a businessman of some type I never caught a name of. There was also 1 woman on the first day, a young attractive Asian woman, in all black leather, with a metal mask that was red. I dont know what her role was, but I did not see her the 2nd day unfortunately, so I never got anymore info than seeing her leave the 1st day. After the interior filming wrapped on the 2nd day, the crew and cast, along with the episodes director Danielle Panabaker, headed outside to shoot some night scenes. Of course, I had my hopes up that I might finally see The Flash in his season 6 uniform, but much to mine, and likely most of your disappointment, no such luck. Instead Grant & Hartley filmed a scene inside a car as Barry Allen & Ralph Dibny staking out an event at the Midway City Art Pavilion inside an only 1970s style car. Since the only vantage point to see this scene was the equivalent of about 3/4 of a football field away, shots for it are a bit fuzzy at best. Also should be noted, there was no way I could see what they were saying, or the tone of the scene. I did see the pair exchanging some laughs on occasion, but it was uncertain to me if they were during filming, or between scenes. The only thing I do know about the scene is at the end of it, Ralph gets out of the car and walks around to the back of it. Later on in the evening there was going to be a stunt shot with some men holding out guns that were going to get flung thru the air. I saw the stunts team practicing the scene in the daytime. But that was going to be filmed much later, so I didnt stick around to see it. THE FLASH episode 603 - Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton as well as Tom Cavanagh as a new character.8/2/2019 THIS BLOG POST IS FOR A "THE FLASH" SEASON 6 EPISODE 03, AND MAY CONTAIN POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR THE SEASON. The Flash was on location for the third episode of the season yesterday in an area of downtown Vancouver between Chinatown and the downtown core. The crew and cast were shooting scenes for the 3rd episode of the season with 3 cast. Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Candice Patton as Iris West Allen were doing scenes where they were walking together looking at a contraption that screams Cisco made. Are they out searching for a meta? Or is Cisco helping Iris with her investigating? They eventually look up at something above them. A bit later, a scene was done that had Tom Cavanagh on set, dressed in new duds. His attire is very "Indiana Jonesesque" right down to swinging in off a rope. Cisco seems to say something to him that seemed like he was happy to see him, before "new Wells" (did not catch if he had a specific character name) grabs him, shoves him up against a wall with a robotic looking arm and talks to him while showing him a large ruby. I guess Cisco should just be lucky this version cant vibrate his hand through his chest. Eventually new Wells lets Cisco go, and that seemed to be the end of the scene as Carlos and Candice left shortly after that, with Tom leaving a bit later. What is new Wells character supposed to be? The attire was close enough to Indiana Jones that 1 of the fans there said that to him & he responded that it was the look they were going for.So what will the "sensual" and "swashbuckling" new Wells really be about? Guess we will have to wait and see. Tom stopped to sign autographs and take photos in full costume as he left. Earlier in the day, Candice also stopped and took photos with some fans. In a rare decision, Carlos was the one who did not seem into interacting with fans on this day.
