The Flash was shooting scenes for episode 522 earlier this week in a quiet Vancouver neighbourhood.
The scene had Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and Candice Patton as Iris West Allen shooting a scene that takes place in the future. Barry and Iris were standing together in the street, and seemingly talking to someone. While I never SAW Jessica Parker Kennedy on set, I did briefly see her driving by me, so perhaps I just missed her part of the scene and she wrapped earlier than her characters parents. When I first got there, they were filming in front of 1 of the cars they have for the future scenes, sooo, it looks like modern day Iris is going to be time traveling to the future.
This was a very short shoot by filming standards. They were scheduled to film from 4 PM to 8 PM, but were done well before 7 PM. Upon leaving Grant signed an autograph for me as he walked to his vehicle and seemed in good spirits. I joked with him about how I will probably see him a couple more times this week, as there were two very large downtown shoots scheduled for later in the week. You can find out about that set HERE
The Flash returns to TV for the end of season run on The CW in the U.S. on Tuesday after a few weeks off.
